Next year, Thomas needs to be included in this. My most carried knife is the MiniBuck Tool, always in my pocket. Second was the Civivi Clavi. Third was the Civivi Bo. Fourth was Civivi Vision FG, and Fifth was the Benchmade full sized Griptillian.
Please, PLEASE bring back another run of the Under Ripe Stabnana!! They sold during a time when I was short on disposable income, so I couldn't get one for my collection!! I daily carry a custom Hawkbill knife, that, (for anything other than food prep) it works out REALLY NICE for me.
Hey Seth… I thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I’ve purchased a Wenger smatchat, after a KC video, on what the pros buy. It’s been awesome.Splitting wood, feather sticking made easy. Thanks
Ohhhhh man Seth I too fell in love with the elementum utility blade! Never would’ve bought it for myself as I consider myself a knife purist but my wife gifted me one and it’s all I’ve carried lately.
Howdy fellas! Great recap! I bought the MKM when it first came out..same day I think! Wonderful job David! Also love the drop bear and own many versions! (Knafs also, which seems very similar) but the surprise was Seth’s Arno..you see I have been collecting his fixed blades for many years but have not gotten a I Mamba..yet! Happy New Years y’all!
From watching both David and Seth the past couple years.. I believe David you deserve the lime light to put your knowledge to the design to real life.. and Seth you would make an out standing knife review channel on just your name sake like your first video... Much love and big thumbs up to both you guys.. and the guy behind the camera.. haha happy new year to all of knife center
I don't use it much but by far and away the knife I carried the most this year was the Vosteed Mini Psyop in carbon fiber. I work from home and whether I am working or just hanging out at home, I am wear gym shorts. Never carried a knife in my gym shorts till I got the Mini Psyop and now its in my gym shorts pocket 24/7.
two of my favorites this year are the Spyderco Roadie XL and Tops Wood Nymph. they both look tame enough as to not draw negative attention in public where I live.
Kizer drop bear is such a good knife. Its 154cm/Nitro V variants are super affordble now and they more premium steels are also affordable. Designs perfect, knife shapes great, and it has one of if not the best feeling clutch lock.
DCA, will the production version of the Maximal be getting some jimping? I love the extended jimping on my Drop Bear, it reaches out to where a thumb or finger often sets. The Maximal looks like a great bargain, and very universally recommendable beginner knife. Seth, buy that Joy of Cooking knife. That is by far the best purchase that I made this year! Worth every penny!
I have a lot of expensive knives but this year I found myself using and loving great budget knives. Most used, Number 1 by far was the Eutektik EFD, what a great user! No. 2, CJRB reverse tanto S90V. No. 3, Spyderco Manix 2LW in M4 with Original Goat Scales. No. 5, Kizer Hic Cup front flipper. No.6 Kershaw Iridium Carbon Fiber M390. So many great value knives. Kunwu and QSP have also been on fire.
Speaking of the Dogwood Joy Of Cooking pick - I would love an updated video on Kitchen/Chef's knifes recommendations and hear from everyone what their picks would be and why.
Great job guys, i was eager to see your end of year video, your hindsight is always on point 👌 Personnaly my best purchase this year were the hogue deka, north arms mallard and viper handy. Happy new year!
I think it's crazy...David with the Nordsmith brand... Ben Peterson with the Lander and banter and such... David with the Tango and then Maximal, and then Zach with his Yonder... there is an awful lot of similarities in designs... I think it's so cool... I like what's coming out... simple... usable... knives
Love the pocket tango! Got the nesmuck + olive wood combo and it got more pocket time than my first ever CRK large Sebenza xD so great job on it DCA! Definitely looking forward to that new design too, looks like a great knife for either of my fouls
Been looking at the Nordsmith Canteen knife for a while, awesome that Seth pulled it out. I specifically want the black micarta one with toxic green liners and firesteel to match, I think it looks amazing with the toxic green stitching on the leather sheath to pull it all together. But sadly, it's always out of stock it seems
Hi guys. DCA I appreciate your new designs but I got a Canteen knife, your older design. The price point isn’t for everyone but I love it. My new camp knife. Happy New year Knife Center.
I too have a Leatherman S2 Juice and it rides shotgun to my Wave+. Wish Leatherman would bring back the Juice series. I find that I probably use the Juice a little more than my Wave+. Since I'm a instrumental music teacher, I like having both the Wave+ and the Juice with me so I have the right tool for whatever job I need them for. Like how the S2 pliers are more needle nose than the Skeletool. But I do have a Skeletool in the car. Great job with the videos - keep them coming!
I need some suggestions! I have bought my brother-in-law a knife for Christmas and his birthday for a few years now. Even though his collection is growing, he still tends to favor the Kershaw Leek. It's his most carried. Will you please suggest a few options that would be similar, so as to entice him away from the Leek? Thanks.
My top 5 (for anyone that cares): CRK small Inkosi tanto, Monterey Bay EZC, Spyderco Manix KW exclusive, Tactile Rockwall, and Reiff F3 EDC fixed blade.
What a fun selection of knives. I too am not an Elementum guy. We/Civivi in general. The designs really don’t grab me and most of their names are awful. I usually have more than one knife on me every day, but what has been on me every day since I bought it is the OKnife Otacle. Full blade, peal ply carbon fiber, cross bar lock and $25.00. I use it constantly. No clam pack stands a chance. My wife wanted one, I bought one for my son and my brother bought one for his work. The full blade is key and the cross bar lock is great. Thanks 🎸🔪
I have to say this. I am a huge hawk bill fan because they work so well at my job. I have that heretic knife in red and no matter how many times I try I always go back to my Lionsteel L.E.One. my Hogue OTF has such a better action for a significant amount of money less. I have more to say but I will leave it at that. Buy Hogue!
Dave, at this time I can afford your beautiful pocket tango, do you have any recommendations for something similar ( a fixed blade) for around 60 with tax. Thanks
The bel air is the only knife I’ve gotten in years that I felt like I got the better end of the deal for once. The iridium as well is a hell of a knife for 60$.
Thomas needs to design a multitool. Let's go Thomas!
One that works well with old trucks.
7 reverse tanto blades and a toothpick.
They could call it the Samoht!
@@craigvaccaro3572 and a bottle opener. can't be a multitool without it
Been rocking Kershaw for my entire life. They're really killing it lately
Picked up a livewire this year. Have really enjoyed it.
That maximal has got big Ritter hogue vibes, I like it
Yep, REALLY REALLY BIG Ritter Hogue vibes. I came here to remark the same😂
Next year, Thomas needs to be included in this. My most carried knife is the MiniBuck Tool, always in my pocket. Second was the Civivi Clavi. Third was the Civivi Bo. Fourth was Civivi Vision FG, and Fifth was the Benchmade full sized Griptillian.
All garbage except for the Vision FG, especially the trash that is Benchmade.
Hey Seth!
Happy New Year to you both!🎉🎉🎉😊
Excited for the Maximal! Great video as always!
Great video, guys. Happy New Year DCA, Seth and Thomas.
Awesome vid to finish of the year. Always love hearing about the stories behind knife purchases. Happy New Year to everyone. Sharp blades all.
My knife of the year,
MKM yipper.
magnacut stone washed
with blue g10 scales.
Hey Seth… I thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I’ve purchased a Wenger smatchat, after a KC video, on what the pros buy. It’s been awesome.Splitting wood, feather sticking made easy. Thanks
Between two knives, what a treat!
Seth nailed it what draws me into knifes is how they cut ! I am just playing I get it !
Bought the Pocket Tango right after you introduced it. Love it!
Thank you and glad you are loving it! -DCA

Thanks for the video!
Looking forward to the Maximal! Reminds me of the Griptilion, but at a more affordable price
I’ll grab the maximal. Would love a bigger version though
Love that DCA made a pm2.5! It's like a compression lock endela.
I wasn't going to buy another knife this year, but that pocket tango looks great!
hopefully the maximal is a hit and we see a premium version from artisan
Happy & prosperous New Year DCA, Seth & Thomas. Greetings from Christmas Island & Australia.
I want a Para DCA!😊❤
From watching both David and Seth the past couple years.. I believe David you deserve the lime light to put your knowledge to the design to real life.. and Seth you would make an out standing knife review channel on just your name sake like your first video...
Much love and big thumbs up to both you guys.. and the guy behind the camera.. haha happy new year to all of knife center
I 've been carrying these almost everyday, I love them. Spyderco Manix 2 BD-1 & Victorinox Super Tinker 2022 Winter Magic SE. Happy New Year to all!
That Kershaw tilt is futuristic
I don't use it much but by far and away the knife I carried the most this year was the Vosteed Mini Psyop in carbon fiber. Hey DCA is possible to have matching blue thumb studs on your CJRB knife design. It just makes it look like a more premium knife with the added color.
two of my favorites this year are the Spyderco Roadie XL and Tops Wood Nymph. they both look tame enough as to not draw negative attention in public where I live.

Excited for Davids new Maximal. Only thing it misses for me is a finger choil near da blade, but the handles shape and grip makes up for that I think.
Only tiny knives need finger choils!
@@monkpato Usually I'd agree, I like the choke up position it gives on larger knives as well though.

Happy new year Knife center thank you for the content DCA.
DCA THOMAS great video guys and Happy New Year 👍

I actually have them in stock at the Nordsmith site right now :) -DCA
@@knifecenter in magnacut no less! one on order yesssir THANK YOU DCA!
That Kershaw knife looks like a part that fell off of a Cyber truck.
Happy New Year...
Gimmie a budget priced pocket tango and im all in.
Signed, not a fixed blade guy
Thomas knife selection is more my style..
very nice
Happy new year too all 🇺🇸🌲🇺🇸 keep up the sharp video's guys!
Like allways that Vermonter
I really like the Maximal idea. My most carried were the Buck 110 CRKT Redemption.
Happy new year 🎉 ✨️

Most carried knife is the S35 tenacious LW...i think about getting the anodized titan tenacious and do a blade swap...
thank u gentlemen
DCA! Have you considered jimping on the spine of the CJRB folding knife blade?
Happy Knife Year ::)
My 2 most carried knives this year are
Ontario knife Co. Rat mod 1 in aus8 and carbon fiber.
Walmart Swiss tech Haltbar in VG10 and burlap micarta
Props to DCA on the new knife with the Maximal but I prefer pretty much everything about the CJRB Shale at that price point.
Seth is back!
Pretentions of tacticality is a great phrase.
And i will see you next year . Oh hang on I'm Australian. It is next year ...
Happy New Year
Maximal premium version in Maxamet yes please
My normal taste in knives would probably lean towards a stag handled fixed blade. But there’s something about that Kershaw knife for sure.
You can see Davids admiration of the Griptilian and James Brand Carter in the Maximal. Its definitely a clean design.
Affordable Mini RSK
@bigglock5478 good comp!
The maximal seems like an in-between size (between the full and the mini) griptilian.
Nice to see how knives wear and tear. What knives get better with wear and tear and get a nice patina?
I need some suggestions! I have bought my brother-in-law a knife for Christmas and his birthday for a few years now. Even though his collection is growing, he still tends to favor the Kershaw Leek. Lander 3.
Kershaw Dividend. Maybe the Bel Air -DCA
My top 5 (for anyone that cares): CRK small Inkosi tanto, Monterey Bay EZC, Spyderco Manix KW exclusive, Tactile Rockwall, and Reiff F3 EDC fixed blade.
I love that crjb and when it comes out I'm buying one
Can we get a budget version of the pocket tango??
14c28n, 154cm, nitro v
Hopefully this folder by David is much cheaper than benchmade. Can’t stand benchmade and their pricing
Considering it's made by CJRB, it's gonna be *well* below Benchmade prices
50 bucks :) -DCA
@@knifecenter I’ll buy at that

Kershaw Tilt, the Cyber truck of knives.
I sure as heck would not carry that Kershaw Tilt. I would keep that beauty safe at home 😭
HNY. MKM sheath attached to the fridge a lot and my steel bicycle occasionally. Thanks blokes 😂
Thomas, love your Para 3 Blade! Great job on all your Knife Designs!
So close on your CJRB. Would love to see the pocket clip recessed.
Naww, just keep that price down. Maybe on a premium version. Not that important really for me.
The Maximal has very strong BM Mini Freek vibes.
My most used knife for over a decade has been the Victorinox Farmer
David designed the CJRB Minigrip 😂. I kid, everything knife shape has influence from what came before.
WELL DONE Gents!
David how is the lockup in the pocket with the thumb studs I had one with studs come open in my pocket
I was starting to wonder what happened to Ned Flanders, he hasn't hosted in a minute!! Welcome back!!
The Maximal looks like the Ritter grip
Maximal + flipper tab. . .
Seth designs with spyderco creating a "real" crossbar locking knife.
I have to say this. I am a huge hawk bill fan because they work so well at my job. Should get your pocket tango turned into a button or slide lock
Dave, at this time I can afford your beautiful pocket tango, do you have any recommendations for something similar ( a fixed blade) for around 60 with tax. Thanks
Frohes neues
Need a drop point pocket tango.
Between Two Knives needs a TV Novella style intro.
I love how knife guys buy a $500 blade and justify the purchase by stating “how well it cuts cardboard.”
Disclaimer: I’m one of those knife guys
That cjrb hogue deka is nice I guess.
*hogue Ritter
The bel air is the only knife I’ve gotten in years that I felt like I got the better end of the deal for once. The iridium as well is a hell of a knife for 60$.
Kershaw really upped their game this past year with those two
I like the look of your Maximal, But I do not buy knives made in China.
