You are an angel on earth and thank you for sharing all that you do! Please stay healthy, happy, and safe! Basque in your uniqueness! 😍
I have been sewing for many years, but not quilting that many. I began a quilt in the 80s and it still is not finished. I did not quilt any of those years since the 80s until recently. Most of the quilts I have made have been using rectangles and squares. This is an easier way to get triangles than doing half square triangles. I have done this stitch and flip method and can usually get decent results. I love your teaching style and you are so organized. I don’t seem to be able to work on more than one project at a time, so will give this some thought. Multitasking in quilting! Need to try this. Love your little stars. They are so happy looking. Made me smile! Look forward to more of your teaching videos! Thanks
That was so much fun! What a clever way of saving thread and getting more blocks sewn by running the rectangle blocks through the machine to finish off instead of cutting thread. Wow!
WOW! Thank you so much for this video. I absolutely loved it!! And though the actual tutorial was very good, I loved all the ideas that you gave with explaining about your storage supplies, rulers and how to just keep quilting the rectangles as you go. This was so awesome!!
LOVE the use of vintage items, and the "running another block through" instead of cutting thread is BRILLIANT ! I am a new quilter and your video has REALLY inspired me. You have a pleasant voice, and easy to follow directions. THANK YOU !!!
This video was just EXCELLENT!! You are a gifted teacher for sure. You have no idea how it helps a new quilter to see how you do things. I was blown away by the little tips (and I ordered the seam guide, seam roller and rulers immediately after watching. I have made two quilts so far, one rag quilt and one cobblestone. I'm doing FQS Jolly Roll Along and these are my first pieced blocks. They are more difficult and I need to learn the tricks of the trade. Thank you so much for taking time to make these tutorials! I know how busy you are and it is a blessing to have access to these!
I have to say I LOVE this pattern. I just started making them with a plain white background and they are so lovely. Thank you Lori for sharing your pattern
Easy! Made 2 of these blocks yesterday. So glad you shared this because I've been sewing for nearly 5 yrs and have kept so many scraps awaiting the perfect idea. Love your featherweight and storage ideas. Please keep sharing!
Can I just say... I love u... I want to make a quilt. And I am totally new to piecing. I have tried this star by half square triangle and it wasn’t neat. I made this and it turned out great!! I am going to make twinkle twinkle quilt for my mommy. Thank u.

This block is so much easier than I thought, I would love it with red white and blue and Christmas. I will give it a try. I just love these videos they are so calming and really give a feeling of how easy it can be. I need to get my iron closer to the stitching area. Thank you for sharing. I also order the rulers, and roller now that I know how to use it. I had the seem guide and can really see how it works so well as a guide, I used tape before.
