Oh Sarah, I love everything you teach me! I have to be careful to watch your videos in the evening. If I watch in the morning, nothing on my 'to do' list gets done. I have to immediately go try what you have shown me and I don't think about the dust on the furniture or dishes in the sink. All I want to do is embroider! You are the most fantastic teacher. You make everything look so easy and perfect. And your creativity is endless. I am so happy I found your channel. You truly inspire me
Such a wonderful comment! Your words should make Sarah feel very good about herself and what she is doing! Very complimentary, and I couldn't agree more.
Your little butterflies are absolutely delightful! What a wonderful idea to use up fabric scraps, threads, beads--whatever you can imagine. Thank you so much, Sarah!
TY Sarah. As always, I so enjoy watching your tutorials. Speaking of slow stitch, when I was little, my Gran showed me how to sew by making those slow stitches..it was fun, but I had NO idea that what I was learning to do then would become one of my favorite past-times now in my 60 + years. Slow stitching has only one rule and that is to have fun!! Very therapeutic process. Cheers from sunny FL. :-)
Thank you for another terrific tutorial. I'm now thinking that butterflies in Christmas fabrics would look lovely for a different kind of seasonal bunting. Diana. xx
I love how you teach things. I have been wanting to make some of these for a while. You have answered the questions that were holding me back. Thank you.
These are wonderful! I have made these out of paper for bookmarks, and always wanted to make them out of cloth as bookmarks, so I would leave that little pocket open. I am so excited to make them, thank you very much❤ i love the slow stitch look, too.
Thanks so much! Finally, something really interesting to do with my slow stitching! one more needle book, and i was gonna lose it🤣 thanks again for such a fun, easy creative idea❤
I was told I was to be a first time Granny this coming July. These precious little flyers will be incorpated into a crib mobile. Quite excited about this project (as well as my daughter's too) 🇨🇦
I'm making one of these right now - I was so inspired by this. I like your reminders about slowing down, not being perfect, and just playing with my fabrics. One thing I did was to use a glue stick to glue-baste my pieces onto the base -- I wanted to get right to the slow-stitching!
GREAT video Sarah. It looks so simple and so beautiful when finished!! I hope I can make one or two. So inspirational! And of course your teaching skill is awesome. I miss seeing you in person, but honestly these videos are better in a way. I can see a new one every week! The camera work is also awesome.
Very fun video. I stitched along but used my machine so I could keep up and see how it played out. Next ones, I'll do by hand. Easier really, to manage the bits of fabric when sewing by hand. Thank you. Think I could make 35 for my quilt retreat? We'll see...
Thank you so much for this wonderful idea! These butterflies are absolutely the sweetest addition to any project. Thank you so much, Sarah! Love your channels! 😊❤
What a great idea! I made several butterflies out of paper just to see how the folding works. They are lovely, thanks! I think they could make wonderful gifts or maybe Christmas tree ornaments. ❤
