This is an exciting addition to the range of wireless microphones offering versatility and ease of use for both smartphones and other devices like cameras and sound recorders

You say in the unboxing section that the system can provide two channels, OR be merged to mono. Is this correct?
As far as I can see the receiver always pans the mics centrally, and you have to retrieve files from the recorders to get two separate channels. I couldn’t find any mention of it in the manual, and your black magic app meters showed the receiver panning both mics to the centre.

This system looks great and love the size. Can this use a lapel mic so 8 can hide the transmitter?

Are two transmitters recording in stereo mode?

    Nice review!
    Big plus: real time monitoring
What is miss: options for changing connectors, something like what my Boya mic set comes with: Type C, TRS, TRRS.
    Anyway: it's a cool stuff.
    Thanks for your work, Graham.

Primarily a smartphone device either USB type C or lightning connectivity would have been easy to add TRS and TRRS for older phones etc. They are relatively new to this market but gaining knowledge very quickly with nice innovative products.

This looks great, very much a better version of the Ulanzi j12 ,I bought these but unfortunately they didn't work on my android phone, seems like the samsung a21s isn't any good, for the Ulanzi, do you think I would face the same problem with these Hohem?

I tried them on 2 different Android phones and they worked but not necessarily with the native camera apps on some types of phone - but that's an android issue I think.

I would suggest that you can skip the unboxing and just show the product and describe the specs while setting up.

Point taken, unboxing is usually a condition of the review for some marketing reason although I personally don't think it adds to the presentation.

This thing is garbage. I can't reduce input gain although I'm following directions exactly.
    Chinese crap.
