I just went into SFO for the first time last Feb. 28, changing planes for SeaTac. It was only my second time in Ca., and my first time in SF. It is the most beautiful city. Just like my trip to Quito Ecuador, photos don't do the place justice. Cities like SF and Quito have to be visited to appreciate how beautiful they are.
It is a very nice city, especially when the weather is nice! I was there again in February too! Maybe one day I'll make it to Ecuador and check out Quito as well!
The B757 is an example of engineering excellence. I've flown in a 757 coast to coast across the U.S., and from the U.S. down to South America. I just can't say enough good about it.
I think that first in-cabin "ding" is when the craft reaches 10,000 feet.......that was a quick climb. I love the Boeing 757. Awesome aircraft. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
As always, a top notch clip!! I have commented on your videos before as RRXWB251, but have switched to the more appropriate RollsRoycePower ;-) I don't know what it is about the 757, but I reckon it be a really good contender to leave the Earth's atmosphere with the awesome rocket like performance!! A beautiful video, thanks so much for sharing!!!
Amazing job!!! I love the STUNNING views! My dad was on an AA flight today and I heard they were super strict on cellphones. Do you know I you hav an iPhone if you can use airplane mode and record? Also have you ever done that because I have, but I'm not sure.
That 757 was and still is a "hot rod performance aircraft." I flew on them 3 times on ATA from SFO to Midway and always thought it was a great Boeing aircraft.
***** That's an interesting stat, for sure. Does that ratio account for an aircraft fully loaded with passengers, baggage, and fuel or the aircraft is not loaded fully?
They are very different to be honest! Los Angeles is much larger and is much warmer! Both cities offer a lot to do! If you have any specific questions about the differences I'd be happy to try and answer them for you!
o yes, please. i love california! have you ever been to hollywood? and on the plane, is it kinda scary, or even a little adrift at first? please write back. lol. im very axious to know. :-)
While I enjoyed the scenery from this video, over the next 15 years we'll likely see the 757 in American Airlines service replaced by (probably) Airbus A321neo's. The glorious noise from the engine will be replaced by something that sounds like the 787 engine.
Wow! You can see the entire city of San Francisco. Good job man

Yeah, I've flown them all over the country as well and also to Europe and Mexico! It's a great aircraft!
This one is a classic take off sequence, some of the best take off views of San Francisco ever seen on TH-cam !
Thank you for all your comments! I'm really glad you liked the video!

Very Nice take, beautiful view of the entire terminal, you are lucky to have got the right seat, right conditions for this wonderful capture.

From my understanding you where flying to either LA, san diego or arizona. I flew that same route im a pilot
Great video. This plane takeoff on rwy 28 and other plane landed on rwy 19?
flying AA 757 tomorrow to go to my brothers funeral. RIP.
Well, that was cool.
Great video. Dometic flight uses rwy 28? Plane landed on rwy 19?
aww ty :-) just got back.

It's a fantastic aircraft and has the highest thrust to weight ratio of any commercial airplane in the skies today! Thanks for the comment!
***** That's an interesting stat, for sure. Does that ratio account for an aircraft fully loaded with passengers, baggage, and fuel or the aircraft is not loaded fully?
The ratio holds true no matter the load.
***** Well...there has to be some kind of benchmark for establishing that fact.
sunking2001 The benchmark is actually some very simple math: Sum of all the engines' trust divided by max take-of weight (or empty weight, etc).
its always bumpy flying out of San fran
Is this back when Continental still existed?
No, not that far back!

Oh Okay, I saw the United 747-400 in the "tulip" livery and wondered that.
is there a difference between L.A or San Francisco because im about to go there in about 2 more years so I wanna know?
They are very different to be honest! Los Angeles is much larger and is much warmer! Both cities offer a lot to do! If you have any specific questions about the differences I'd be happy to try and answer them for you!

Yes, Hollywood is a very touristy area! Lots of people go there to see the sights! The plane is very fun in my opinion!
how long is that flight?
I think around 3 hours or so!
***** oh ok , very nice vid by the way.
Thank you!
Sweet

Yeah, it's the way things are going these days! I'll cherish every 757 flight I get!
I don't understand. What is the difference between the sounds?
I guess you would have to compare them yourself! Listen to a 757 engine and then a 787 engine!
Isn't the 787 engine quieter? I would prefer the quieter engine if I was a passenger... Why do you guys like the louder engine? Is it cooler?

No, but I hope to someday! Perhaps I will take a trip to India!
