Great job you two kids!! Do it while you can. Hubby and I watched and said we'd never even try that climb. Forget that bridge!! Good for you to help your partner achieve. God Bless you!
We are so impressed with you guys and this adventure. It is definitely not something I (Belinda) have any desire to try. You two are real adventurers, our hats off to you!🤩
I've been watching you guys from the beginning of your full time RV adventure. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with the world. My wife and I had fallen behind on your videos by about 3 months but have been binge watching the past few days to catch up. We actually live about 1.5 hours east of Nelson Rocks and camp in WV a lot. We had never heard of NRocks Adventure but are already planning a visit there!
Im from West Virginia, and there is more in that area than you realize. Our state has some of the best outdoor activities…white water rafting, skiing..great places to hike. New river bridge, where many base jump every year…and there are quite a few really nice camp grounds…near Black Water Falls/Canaan Valley area. West Virginia is actually so much more than what most read or hear about in the news and media…and most people who criticize the most, have never been here…But this hike/climb is not one that i have known about. Thanks for sharing!
I felt I need to rest just watching you two! You did an awesome job. The views were absolutely incredible. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure.
OMG No Way!!!! Those heights would kill me. I give both of you so much credit for completing this. Thank you for taking us along the view was spectacular!
The views were stunning - I'm glad we did it but dang in the moment ugh! Todd was having the time of his life and I was trying to just "Seize the Moment" lol
🤣 Todd's spousal revenge. What a cool hike, i'm thinking i might wanna do this, then Todd tilts camera down n i'm 😳, scratch that 😂. Then the bridge walking, yeah affirmative this is a huge big juicy no way! Gotta give you this 💪🏼, u brave souls! N yeah too nuts for me. But thx for the ride!!! Fun to watch! 🍻
West Virginia is oddly shaped for multiple reasons, one reason it was separated from Virginia during the civil war. The state was formed by metes and bounds using things like rivers, etc. Seemed like Todd was very happy that day, was it Sheila's discomfort revenge? Hope you guys stay safe and healthy. Pushing each other into the discomfort zone is healthy as long as neither of you are a vindictive person.
How awesome! I appreciate the fact that you pursued such a challenge. I really like suspension bridges and not sure that I could do that one. Kudos to you both and thanks so much for being fearless leaders 👍😊
Good for you guys! A lively, fun video. The North Fork valley, where NROCS is located, is not only deceptively remote given its map coordinates, but quite pristine. No coal mines, a sparse population, just some cattle and feed crops grown in the valley bottom. The mountains were all clear-cut a century ago for timber, prompting the USFS to swoop in and buy up some 40% of the county. You'd never know it now, and what logging is still going on is relatively low-impact as views are concerned. It's preternaturally quiet here most of the time. It's my belief that the lovely character of the North Fork and the pleasant, if reserved, ways of most locals are at least partly due to passenger rail never having been extended from Petersburg, WV south toward Seneca Rocks.
Since I am so fearful of heights, I will not be putting this on my bucket list any time soon!...however, you captured great beautiful views! And awesome job, guys, in finishing the whole thing! That is pretty awesome!
Good work guys. We are going there in the spring along with hiking chimney top. We went to seneca rocks and dolly sods-lions head last month, which I highly recommend btw.
My brain says not for those afraid of heights (I'm partial on this). Also the brain says "can you imagine the people out there installing the cables & pegs?". What did they hang on to? Definitely 1 of xx craziest adventures. - James
Absolutely 💯 and who thought 💭 hmmm if we just put some cables and metal pegs out here for steps we can climb this thing?? What an adventure that must have been
This is amazing to watch but not my cup of tea, even when I was young and not so round (yea that is a shape!) But the look of pure joy on your face when you were on the bridge Todd, was wonderful! Congratulations to you both!
Now I know you are officially nuts!! What makes either of you want to do things like that life threatening climb? It made me so scared just watching you!!!
Whose idea was it to do this hike? I saw the short on this the other day and was thinking what the heck, I’m not going mush higher than 15’ the hike up would have been more than enough. There weren’t near enough boards on that bridge. Video work was outstanding and I would have kissed that dirt when I got back on it.
Can I ask, how long the whole thing (including getting off the mountain) took? I plan to do this in September, also as a practice run for hopefully Switzerland in the future.
Your fearless exploration of challenging terrain and dedication to sharing it on TH-cam truly embodies the spirit of adventure. I think you'll love our Muscle & Joint Pain Relief Cream products and would be a great fit for a partnership. Let's discuss further and send you some products to try out.
Hopefully through our channel and our eyes you get to see something’s you would not get to experience- it sure makes it have a whole new meaning when we look at it that way. We are thankful we can and grateful for you taking the time to watch.
Thanks for showing a positive side of WV, my home state.
It’s a beautiful place!
Great job you two kids!! Do it while you can. Hubby and I watched and said we'd never even try that climb. Forget that bridge!! Good for you to help your partner achieve. God Bless you!
Wow amazing! I had sweaty palms watching you do this climb.

Thanks for watching! It was quite a journey!!
You two are nuts! My heart is racing already and you have just started!!!!
Props to you both! Not something Rhonda and I would do but fun to watch! Thanks for showing us the way!
Oh my goodness!!! Can I breathe now?? lol Congratulations!!
I had tears in my eyes..scared but in awe of the beauty! Nice guys, so amazing! Thanks for sharing that!

It was amazing and difficult all at the same time lol - WV is an amazing state! Thanks for watching the journey!
That was AWESOME. Great job Shelia. Todd, you got 1st place for the hardest hike. No more complaining about Shelias hike. ❤
That was my thought exactly- if he can do this my hikes are like cake walks well minus the cake
Awesome , the story of how those canyons formed must be incredable . You both have some inner strenght , thats for sure.

Few years and your whole family can go do that hike!
This is the best video I’ve seen so far of this hike! Glad to have found it!

😂 fair enough!! See you guys soon!
Oh my goodness I was so nervous while watching you climb! I was praying you would make it. I had faith you would.
Omg now I have to worry about ‘Todd hikes’ at the next huddle!!! Glad you had fun.

Great video. I hope to do this one day. Hope to see you two soon back in Missouri.
You coming to the Arcadia Moon event?
@@SwitchItUpLife No. The next time we see you two is the dinner at Higginsville Mo.
I am afraid of heights so that bridge would have been a big deal for me. Not sure I would be able too. Good job you two.
I’m (Sheila) not afraid of heights and that was intense - so so so so so far down and shaky bridge ugh - glad we are done lol
It scared me just watching you two guys, but you DID IT!
Great job! I will never do that!
Well we took you along for the ride-- aren’t you tired now?

Awesome
That was awesome
Wow. I’m impressed. I’d never do this but I congratulate you on your accomplishment.
It was a one and done ✅ for me- Sheila lol
How completely awesome that was. Elena is out on that hike but it looks so great. Now for this big question how were those muscles the next day?
Oh - my - gosh I realized I had muscles sore in places I didn’t know I even had muscles 🤷♀️
You need that West Virginia song by John Denver playing while you were driving.
Thats some scary shit right there!! Congrats on doing that!!
Lol thanks for watching! Hey by the way sent you an email for an idea 🤔🤔🤔 let us know what you think
cool - you guys are brave
It was quite the journey!
I had to stop watching at the bridge. I was terrified 😮😂
🙈 sorry bout that!! It was quite an experience!

Well now you know 😂😂😂
Awesome God Bless
🥰
I would love to try it but at 68 I'm not sure I want to try. Todd I could hear you heart beating at one part of the video.
These people are at the campsite I work at right now
Nope,, nope,, nope... Y'all have fun with that.
Hey 👋 Ron - thanks for watching and doing all the things
I would have stopped at Todd’s first use of the word “ Epic”…… and this is not your typical Sheila hike!…… Cheryl got dizzy just watching this!
😂🙈 it was quite the adventure! And next time Todd uses Epic I’m going to sit that one out 😂
Hi from the Bimber's. The Marine in me says yes I would do that, but Misty says no way.
👋 Bimber’s!!
Good Job
Thanks for watching Steve!

Does this mean that adventure huddle you mentioned a few videos ago is now off the table 😂
I’m still learning all the vlogger tech, 😂 but how did you film that bridge? Could not have been drone . 😂 nice job!
That is filmed with the Insta360 camera- does a great job the editing of the footage just takes a lot longer. Thanks for watching
awesome videos, KUTGW
Are you going to raft the Nee River?
We did some Kayak lessons in that river - what a beautiful place - we will be back for sure!
Can I ask, how long the whole thing (including getting off the mountain) took? I plan to do this in September, also as a practice run for hopefully Switzerland in the future.
It was about 4.5 hours could have been done faster but we were the anchors of the group lol

Well now everyone knows it 😂 we tried to hide it for a while but 🤷♀️ Thanks for watching
Great job!! I am building a small RV park not far from there by Seneca Rocks check out Seneca Rocks will be easy for you after this hike.
This is great to hear as this area is in dire need of RV Parks! Not many to chose from. Good luck on your new venture
I’m going in 2 weeks. I hike a lot still nervous.
The first little rungs were really the toughest for me (Sheila) they were so far apart - it was an incredible experience- have fun and be safe!

Yes - if we were to do something like this again we will get gloves for sure

Why no gloves?
If we were to do it again - I would get fingerless gloves for sure - my hands were a bit chewed up by the end of the hike
