- A surgical robot I developed was cleared by FDA and released to the US market in 2017.

I wonder, and worry, that the companion interactive dogs may actually become fond of the owners. Or shall i say, develope and acquire feelings to where they are distressed or hurt by the humans like real dogs? They seem to show curiosity, and are able to learn. It would be horrible to think we've created something else to hurt...

Dr. Robot, if I ever buy one it'll be "Aibo" by Sony. But "Jenny" by Tom bot's design is great...to add little bit of fur and all...I bet that it feels great to cuddle with it

Wait, what? Spot is supposed to be a dog? That looks nothing like a dog. If I’m gonna make a robot dog, I should try to at least make it look like a real dog, like Tombot’s Jenny, but with the same AI and interaction as AIBO, with the speed of A1, Spot, and V-60 robot dogs.
If one would be and look even a little bit like Doctor Who's K9 then it would be awesome, until then I say the real deal dog is the best to me

6:46 kinda has the body type of a Jack Russell terrier reminds me of my dog that died he is a Jack Russell terrier... His name is Rascal he used to kill snakes I'm talking about big snakes and he climbed trees hahahaha like a squirrel. Lived up to 19 years that's a long time longer than his regular life span 17 years he would of been in college by now if he was 20 or 21...

I am sorry but i have not idea ,what cost of simple sensor is.
They have some so realistic you can NOT tell they are fake the battery never goes bad unless it gets completely submerged in water. It's insane poor real dog's will be stuck in shelters over this sad really.
