@@christiancrusader9374 Vader I would argue was more of a client then Jabba. Imperials pay big money for Jedi and Rebels espically after the Death Star disaster.
Jabba had a few debtors and smugglers to chase after, Jabba was not known for paying well, besides his price on Han and Chewie.
Vader had an Imperial Bank behind him and legitamacy. Imperials go after bounty hunters as much as they do with criminals and Rebels. Many are considered one and the same.

Love Boba in Legends, theres even a book where Boba meets Anakin after Jango's death, and he always has a hunch that Vader is Anakin.

Yeah, if only a burning pile of dog shit disguised as a company did not consider it all non-canon then steal all the designs rather than make their own.
I love Star Wars but it’s kind of ridiculous that all of the most interesting stories exist outside of the actual main story.

It really is a testament to how stupid and overconfident the Imperial officer corps was when they actually thought they could assassinate Vader.
To be fair, the plans were pretty good. I thought that Thorn was only going to send a battalion of stormtroopers to kill him which would have been foolish but instead it was a trap to eject Vader to space. Besides that, even if he did manage to stay inside, he would need to handle the constant pressure of keeping himself inside the ship and dealing with a battalion of TIE fighters. Even then if that didn't work, they were planning to travel at light speed to make sure that Vader actually is ejected from the ship and there would be no way for him to stop it. It's because Boba managed to cut short the time Vader would need to destroy the TIE fighters that he was able to kill Captain Thorn.
Since he lacked the knowledge on Vader's cybernetics his first plans could have failed which he made up for with a battalion of TIE fighters. Even external factors like Boba Fett wouldn't be considered and oversight on the Captain's part. His only mistake was to not have someone stationed near the Hyperdrive and if they didn't respond. They were to be assumed to be dead. After which all he needed to do was escape using an escape ship as soon as possible and self-destruct the Devastator.

True. This plan was actually rather sound for an imperial officer. Planning ahead of time was pretty good, tho I suppose he just didn’t plan _far enough_ ahead, but who could blame him?
I for one applaud this guy for making it so far honestly.
@@supersani21 Good points. I'm just saying, it would probably be wiser to stay off Vader's radar than try to kill him. Vader is a powerful warrior and not to be trifled with. You'd have to be damn good at what you do to have a snowball's chance in hell against someone like that. Personally, I'd rather just do my job and enjoy the perks of my position rather than risk the retaliation of Darth Vader.
I would pf set off emps around bobas ship and under vader than have like a snuper turret trained on boba with his suit electrified he will have a hard time remaining on the hull

I'm sure they had a near Rex and Anakin level of respect for each other. But not necessarily the friendship or trust. Boba _was_ only in it for the money after all.
We need more Vader/Boba stories in the new Canon. Vader and Sidious had a “team up” in “Lords of the Sith”; Vader and Thrawn worked together in “Thrawn Alliances”;

Hey SWRC! It’s been a couple of years, I used to follow all your videos 2-3 years back on another account. We even played Battlefront 1 together once. Now that school work is less, I’m back and I also started reading some legends books. I read Kenobi, Heir to the empire, and now I’m reading Dark Force Rising.

@Eye Above All In Legends Boba and Jango were fully Mandalorian, just not in the Disney "Canon", which a lot of people simply ignore
@Arkady George Lucas is the same guy that gave them mandalorian armor, the insignia, and even had Jango speaking the mando language lol. he's lost his mind

@Eye Above All Jango.. when I think about it he was never a Mandolorian in his role in the movies and the clone wars years anymore but was a former one... He's a bounty hunter now not a mandolorian. Jango was way younger when he was one though.
I had to think deeply what George Lucas said him saying that didn't make a whole lot sense untill you really think about it he's right He isn't a Mandolorian... If jango was still mandolorian he wouldn't even clone himself or do bounties... Mandolorians is a culture who believes in honor not really a race You wearing the armor don't automatically make you mandolorian... Even if you used to be one
Boba is not a mandolorian too and unlike Jango Boba was never a former Mandolorian though he was trained and cloned from a former one untill he became a leader of the Mandolorians in legends
In cannon or untill Disney give boba some attention he's not a mandolorian.

Not really. Sure there are some good ones but Legends isn't this flawless collection of stories. Also canon has plenty of good stories as well no matyter how much you might try to deny that.

later in Dark Horse Comics, during Empire Reborn, Boba Fett tells Palpatine's adepts that he and Vader had an understanding.
Both Vader and Boba were raised by single parents until the age of ten. And both lost them in the most tragic ways.

I really wish we got a darth Vader tv show
I wish the movies were as adventurous as the legend books. I love the movies but they tend to be so hyper focused on such narrow aspects of the Star Wars universe that it always feels like certain world building aspects are just skimmed over, and the movies sometimes seem over simplified as a result. And when I watch the deleted scenes, I think “this adds so much to the story! Why tf is it deleted?!” Episode 3, for example, is my favorite of all of the movies but it would’ve been a million times better if they kept the scenes about the delegation of 2000. Those scenes do an amazing job of connecting the prequels to the original’s by showing the audience the basis of how the Rebel alliance was formed. And the scene where yoda lands on Dagobah was only a few seconds long. Why was that one deleted? It would’ve added more explanation to the story without making the movie too long. The final cuts of all the films just feel so watered down after seeing the deleted scenes.
