Hello Giles, apologies for the late reply. Not been 100%. Yes, the sleeping bag issue. I believe it may be due to the ‘Hot Hands’ I use in the footbox and I probably overheat during the night, which then causes a lot of condensation. Hello Dan, yes my friend, AJ is a really good fella and you can get a really chilled camp with him. Unless you are like me who cannot eat Blue Smarties as it hypes me up 😄 I use a bivvy as I don't want snail trails all over my sleeping bag. My cousin found that out back in the early 80's when he fell asleep on a park bench, three sheets to the wind one night. His Mum had bought him a new "Dell Boy" sheepskin coat for his birthday. It was ruined by the time he woke up and it looked like the rail map of Clapham Junction 😂😀😆 Yes, we must get out on a camp sometime this year,,, if we can ❤
Brilliant video mate, I enjoyed watching you guys having fun and a late one at that, with the bivvi bag you can get a dutch army goretex bag and it has a center zip, that might give you the best of both worlds, looking forward to the next adventure 👍🙏

Mr Greencraft poured a lot of water over his Carinthia Defence 4 and it didn't soak in. Not something that we'd allow to happen anyway, but to prove it's worth was a good thing. Nice one Tim, good to see you two out for a camp. It's got me thinking that we could convene a Kent gathering of some sort for like minded bushcrafters, wild campers and the like. Not sure about logistics, but it's food for thought. As for your bivvy bag, I had that Miltec bivvy for a short while and had exactly the same trouble. I couldn't be dealing with that so sold it on the bushcraft tradepost. I swear by my British and Dutch military goretex bivvies now, they've never let me down. The British bivvy isn't too bad to get in and out of as the opening is huge. You can also pick them up pretty cheap (10-20 quid) down at the military fair at the dockyard. 👍

Hahaha, there were some world issues sorted out that night. A lot of world leaders were replaced and laws changed too 😁 That fartmosphere is a buggerance. Didn’t help with the tree fellas lurking about too 🤣 Hope you are keeping well, Garth? 😉👍🏼

I am beginning to wonder if it could be the Hot Hands making my feet sweat and in turn the rest of me which will then cause the condensation. I am a hot sleeper anyway. I do believe mine and your record for staying up chatting around the campfire is still very much intact. That was a cracking video Tim really well put together AJ seems a canny bloke will check out his channel definitely a wet one for you mate do you have your head inside the bivvi bag if so that's the reason for condensation I never have any problems with the snugpak special forces bivvi bag and it's easy to get in with a top zip it's very lightweight and compact when packaged away you video's are improving every time Tim mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

I've had something on every weekend for the last 6 or 7 weeks, but fingers crossed I'm good for this one. Just gotta pop in to Norwich tomorrow to buy a new pair of boots. The bivvy condensation thing is something that has kept me from getting one. And just a gentle reminder...You can never have too much kit! I don't care what my missus says, because every purchase is well thought out & is also a necessary one😂

My mood is always good out in the sticks funnily enough. Better than when around bricks and mortar. I need to become a woodland dweller 😀

I am beginning to wonder if it could be the Hot Hands making my feet sweat and in turn the rest of me which will then cause the condensation. I am a hot sleeper anyway. Maybe I should try getting in the sack with less clothing on too.
It is a stupendous woodland. Nobby may know of it actually. I do believe mine and your record for staying up chatting around the campfire is still very much intact. It was near the 0330hrs mark when we hit the sack 😂

That was a cracking video Tim really well put together AJ seems a canny bloke will check out his channel definitely a wet one for you mate do you have your head inside the bivvi bag if so that's the reason for condensation I never have any problems with the snugpak special forces bivvi bag and it's easy to get in with a top zip it's very lightweight and compact when packaged away you video's are improving every time Tim mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

I wasn't fully enclosed in the bivvy. Only zipped up to my shoulder and the rest folded over on top of itself. I shall have a mozy on over to Snugpak's site to get some info on the SF Bivvy.
