Gotta love when I'm watching these and I think to myself something like "Hmm this looks like a good time to use the forceps to me" and then a minute later Taylor goes in with the forceps. Just proves that you guys are doing a good job of educating us all on a ton of things about ears and wax
Very impressive removal Taylor! Thank you both for mentioning Neel Raithatha in your live. I have binge watched 421 vids on his two channels. His commentary about the skill level required to master the endoscope makes me appreciate even more the work that you do. He is not a fan of water in the ear in any form and that is apparent as he treats the pathologies of those who have had irrigation or inadvertent water in the ear. Thank you also for supporting his fight to protect the health and welfare of the general public by cautioning viewers to make sure that the practitioners they book with have more experience than a two day course.🙏❤️
@@nancystocker357think of sound like water, it will flow through just about any gap available, and even a tiny gap can be enough not to fully block it.
when I had my ears cleaned by microsuction the woman didn't use any curette tools but she was basically poking the tip into the side of the ear after getting the bulk of the blocks out. it wasn't really painful but it felt a bit like little pinches. she definitely wasn't taking care like these two do. For a regular ear the only thing that will cause major problems is hitting the eardrum.
I went last week for my Medicare yearly ck up. I asked my doctor why no one checks the ears anymore. He looked at me like I was stupid! I’m glad for people like these two men. They are really into ear health.
Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time any doctor checked in my ears during a physical. Definitely something to bring up during my next checkup.
Keep it simple! Having wax or dead skin pulled out of your ear feels like you are getting a DEEP scratching in your ear, but in a good way… the kind of internal scratching you WISH you could do sometimes!!!
I really enjoy Taylor’s tidiness! I enjoy seeing it all cleared out although I realize you guys don’t have to go after each and every bit but it’s satisfying
Outstanding professional work there Taylor. Your patient was surely happy to hear again. Lots of cleaning up to do for sure. Nice work Taylor ❤. Iowa here. Steve.
My goodness, Taylor! You needed a hand massage after that one! I am so thankful that I don't have the ear problems I had as a kid and young adult! Kudos! (Are you preserving that giant plug to show your grandchildren?) 😉💕💕😆
Wow!!! Crazy hair wax and skin!! Did you refer the payient to ENT? I missed it if you did. Great job, Taylor!! Nice to see you enjoy it, Rhys!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Guys, love what you are doing, cant stop looking at your retractions :) Do you have any firends/colleages in Stockholm that performs the same type earing cleaning?
Great removal Taylor , that was not an easy peel respect ! Loving to hear you both speak a specially Taylor saying “ here “ it’s really Welsh I guess ? See the both of you soon and have a wonderful weekend with your family’s , 🇧🇪😘
Every single time I see suction toob trying to grab on to molded material to the ear, I think of trying to pick a credit card up from the ground without nails or nails too long, just PRAYING you get lucky. It's the worst.
No, not everyone needs it, it depends if you produce a large amount of wax - see a nurse to check your ears - sgould be free on NHS, but some pharmacies do it privately, for around £25 (dunno if that's per ear)
just got my ears cleaned for the first time in my life and I was shocked by the pure amount of shit that came out. they just did a 5 min solution and then a water syringe. the doc said it was about 80% occluded but still with a clear passage. I definitely could hear better after it was all gone, it felt like magic! I'm my 30s btw, not sure how this changes over time
When you say to use an olive oil treatment, what exactly do you mean? Like how many drops how many times a day? Should everyone do it? Should we do it every day? I need more information on this please.
Hello from Colorado, U.S , love watching you guys , but I have a question, what is the name of the tool that looks like a butter knife ? I've seen it in different videos.
I live in San Diego California and I have a question? I was yawning right before bed n my ear got plugged up n like I can't hear out of my right ear for 2 days now I was wondering do I go to the hospital or clinic to get my ear checked out or is there someone like you guys out here I can go to
sometimes it’s good to get the thicker skin off- i only say that because Neel has said & noticed that there can be some nasty things hiding behind that thicker skin. def a lot of skin build up!
They've talked about it before. There are at least a couple of reasons I can remember; Now that the plug is gone, the rest should migrate out naturally. Or, it takes too long and it's hard not to cause bleeding. I can't remember the others, lol.
Have you seen those pointed screw-shaped ear cleaners for home use? I love how you’re so into your tools, but you don’t seem to have any that can really grip into some of the more solid plugs.
Love the videos, I have to admit I get very angry watching cause I'm like get that lol. Skin peels are my favorite though. You definitely have good patience. Sometimes when the top part of canal isn't cleaned first it's hard to see what your doing down in canal, Is it for safety that you do bottom part before clearing the upper sides of canal?

I would bet that a great many viewers do that. I know that I do.
Me too! Got me thinking I could be an audiologist lol
I was thinking the exact same thing. 😅
Oh my god calm down FFS
I found myself saying out loud, "use the forceps, get the forceps out." Glad you listened to me, Taylor. 😊
Coooorrrwwahh. Look at tha' .... aaarrrggghhhh. It's coming away really, really nicely (in fairness) ...... yeeeeeeeaaarrggh!

Glad im not the only one
Last thing i do every Night
Me too. These videos are so relaxing.

Reason I could never be an audiologist - I'd just be in there with a curette trying to scrape stuff off and to hell with the patient's discomfort.
Same I’d wrap it with an alcohol swab too so it can sting a little lol

Yes, these days we have to ask for a referral to an ENT to get an ear check. There, they an audiology test, too.
A lot of times people don't need ear aids just deep cleaning of their ears.
Back in the old days they checked your ears with your bp and temp, you are right they don’t look in your ears anymore.
Keep it simple! Having wax or dead skin pulled out of your ear feels like you are getting a DEEP scratching in your ear, but in a good way… the kind of internal scratching you WISH you could do sometimes!!!

Well done Taylor, that was a hard one with the skin. I was thinking to myself "Forceps maybe?", and there they were lol
Nice work Mr G xx
Well done Taylor
I have excema in my ears, prescribed hearing aids for Tinitus, how do you managed both conditions? Please
Excellent video
You probably get that question a lot, but how do you recommend to use the olive oil correctly?
The ad that played for me before this video started was for a “reusable cotton swab” for ears…. How ironic!
Me too
Would irrigation at the end help loosen the skin?
Does everyone need this procedure done? Or just if i notice hearing issues? How do I know I'd need it done? How much generally does it cost please?
No, not everyone needs it, it depends if you produce a large amount of wax - see a nurse to check your ears - sgould be free on NHS, but some pharmacies do it privately, for around £25 (dunno if that's per ear)

Does the newly migrating skin get hung up on the bits you leave behind, causing a plug to be formed?

Why don't you use peroxide to help loosen it up? Instead of tugging like that?
Have you seen those pointed screw-shaped ear cleaners for home use? I love how you’re so into your tools, but you don’t seem to have any that can really grip into some of the more solid plugs.
What causes such a large build up of wax?
What was the age of the patient? Great wax! 😅
Hey Lucy 👋🏾👋🏾
Top work
How do you get the bits out of the suction to measure it all in the end
Hi, if it goes up the Suction Tube it will go into the tank, which is filled with water. No retrieving any wax from there. 😊
Why am I suddenly DEEPLY curious about how much hair is inside my ear
8:24 wow I wonder how that feels !!!! Probably soooo good
How do people get this kind of wax build up? I’ve never had to clean wax out of my ears. It’s it just that some people create more ear wax?
Anybody find themselves armchair quarterbacking,”
crocodile forceps!”
I don’t know about you guys but I’m definitely an expert now. 😂
Beefy plugs is an understatement😂😂😂
I’m wanting your vacuum to have an elbow curve at the end.
How did they get it that bad in just a year? Is it just because they've gotten older?
