A person's internal character is the MOST important thing to consider before deciding whether they are actually truly High Quality enough for you to even know at all! Don't waste ANY of your (anything) on a girl who doesn't show and prove to you with her continued POSITIVE energy actions, attitudes, and behaviors that she actually is WORTHY of your time and energy to interact with!

1. Apologize ONLY when you're genuinely in the wrong.
2. Yeah don't do texting games, but it's important to actually have a life so you're not always responding within an hour. Don't fake busyness, respond when you can, actually Be busy and have things to do, this also makes you a more interesting person because you'll have more to talk about. Prioritize. Girls aren't the priority. If you're with a friend, finish talking to that friend before responding to the text (generally just, don't be on your phone when you're with people irl).
3. Don't ask where she wants to eat, suggest a place, if she wants a different place she'll let you know. If you're insistent on asking her then at least do something like "where do you wanna eat? I was thinking ______" so she doesn't have to do all the decision making herself.
4. She's tripping on that last one. First kiss mainly, ask for consent, but be smooth about it

The "where do you want to go to dinner" thing hits a sore spot with me. Let's be real here: WOMEN CARE WHICH RESTAURANT AND WHAT FOOD WE EAT, and MEN MOSTLY DON'T CARE. So why does the man have to choose this? When a woman says, "where do you want to go?" She is really saying, "guess where I want to go". She may not know instantly where she wants to go, but she sure as hell knows instantly when the guy says somewhere she doesn't want to go. It SUCKS that we men are put into this guess-n-check game all the time.
Or after the third or forth suggestion and they say 'I had that for lunch' or 'I'm not in the mood for that' then get mad when we say 'Then pick someplace!'

But if it’s the first date, I’ll usually take her out for pizza(I live in New York). Almost everyone likes pizza. And most importantly it’s cheap, so whether you pay for her or not, you’re not spending much money. Then take her out for a nice walk in the park. Try not to overspend or overthink. If she’s gonna appreciate it, she’s not the person you want to spend time with anyway. You deserve better

I feel locked out from being able to get a girlfriend. There are so many ways to mess it up and no second chances. She'll just block you and ghost you the second you do something wrong and not even tell you what it was. I'm expected to be perfect and when I'm not she goes to another guy, the competition is literally infinite. Now that I'm single, I realized just how much happier I am. Since I've been single, I've been able to focus solely on myself and I don't think I've ever been happier. I spent 12 years working multiple jobs, meal prepping for us, trying to keep us healthy, and getting far too little sleep to help her achieve her goals, financially take care of her family, and pay down all her debt. I never strayed and I was never not honest with her. I always strove to do the right thing and be a good man, to be silly at times, and to remain a romantic at heart. Now that she's gone, what was all that for? No woman will ever get this treatment from me again. I won't live to please others, and I certainly won't entertain any of these opinions. I do what I want, and I'll wear what I want; I couldn't care less about what any woman thinks of me.
