Ahh Classic. Sometimes you make me want to end myself in many various ways, but even through all of that I love you. There's so many memorable moments I've made so far, that were mostly caused due to the insane "struggles" or "troubles" you have to deal with when playing Classic. And i'm not even near level 60 yet! I personally can't remember the last time I've laughed out loud so often when playing a video game, it's been nuts! In this short video I decided to depict some of those struggles a player has to go through.
This video idea was honestly planned for a bit further down the line, but after a recent community post I made where I asked you guys what you found stressful when playing Classic, I got so many great answers that I've also experienced, that I got motivated to put this video together first!

In this situation, I'd just run towards one and use a slow instead of risking aggro from both mobs.
When that gap starts closing and you just keep aiming for dead center and praying

That paladin ... is me in a nutshell. Right down to the Lionheart Helm. xD My guild showed it to me, I was laughing my ass off~ before we even started raiding PUG MC's... I was Lionheart Helm, Devilsaur Leggings, and ganking the snot out of anything that even briefly looked sideways at a Devilsaur in Un'goro man. lol.
No amount of /wave /wave would save anyone I had EVER seen attack a Devilsaur. lol.

Ohh the treasure chest.. Gonna tell you guys my story and relish in my misery: In Stonetalon there is this escort quest at the Grimtotem camp... I was 5 level higher than the mobs as druid so I thought whatever comes I can solo this escort quest. I cleared out the way as much as I could and then started the quest. We are just walking... and walking... slowly as possible.. no mobs are spawning or anything.. just chill walking and then I discovered a treasure chest up ahead next to a tent! I was backpaddling towards it, still looking at the NPC who was still walking with no mob around. I stopped at the chest but didn't turn around yet to open it just in case... still nothing... I turn, start opening the chest.. BOOOOM 3 Grimtotem mobs appeared out of nowhere I run in go bear, shout, wipe and taunt but nothing helps and the NPC gets mauled to death... literally 3 steps before the quest would have ended.... so I had to start all over again only for some cold milk a few silver and a gray item D:
I actually died on this quest but the escort npc just kept walking while I died so I got it complete
Well at least you got the chest in the end... usually some other dude would just swoop in and take it.
I love grey items. They are my main source of income.

I was riding on the road in duskwood today. Saw a herb on the side of the road, next to a large tree, I go to pick it but then I get the "entering combat" warning. Wtf? And just then Stitches comes barelling around the tree at full speed, out of nowhere and he was NOT about to use lube when he bones me 😂 scared the shit outa me, thankfully i was still mounted so i got away

Strategically plan entrance points, trigonometrically calculate the best blink position, surgically blink between two mobs, end up using frost nova and run like an idiot as I should have done in the first place.

The stitches part is so relatable. I remember farming mastiffs in the area for skinning and leatherworking and turned round after looting one only to see the blur of a cleaver swipe then I was dead

No mastiffs exist in classic.
Mastiff in this case, means A Larger Canine. Indeed until Cataclysm, no "Dog Mastiffs" Existed. but Mastiff was sometimes used in Mob Names, for example: Black Ravager Mastiff, is just a Giant Black Ravager

I have ninja'd chests from the opposing faction only to be disappointed by getting 2 banana breads, 2 moonberry juices and 80 copper..... but they are still mine hahaha

GamingTranceSeer not in Classic. The chests are just really really bad for some reason. I’ve farmed several chests multiple times, and gotten maybe three greens and one blue. Good loot is very rare. When you open a chest, look out for “you loot x amount of silver” - if you loot money, the chest was untouched.
Classic WoW is like Hell.

Why Blizzard didn't make The Maw just an instanced Vanilla server, I will never understand.

But yeah the gank scene was by far my fave. From the epic view of the impalement to how his head just instantly 180's to see the troll as well as the /wave /wave as he's running. Plus love how you showed the whole shaky mouse hand trying to click and then the evil red glow in the skull level lol. Pure epicness.
That scenario with the orc having another guys mobs transfer to him, yeah i was that orc on multiplen occasions

Yup. And around that first time was when I learned that fearing them while running away, just resets the amount of time they will chase you.
Man you always put so much work into your machinimas. The scenematography, the stretch animations for the mouth movement. It's all so good. Don't think we don't notice!
Oh man I think this is my favorite machinima of yours. I can relate to so so many of these scenarios. I think what I loved about old machinimas and the vanilla models was that they allowed people to be more creative with less. Also I would love to see a bts on how you make a video in the future.

@@soppingwetburgers6493 you cant really put anything in there, but there's usually some junk item, quite often food, quite often that food is cheese. Just leave whatever is the least desirable/most memey and this will make the chest not respawn until someone faces the dissappointment of emptying it.
