if youre somehow still stuck on the first boss, id recommend playing as a knight for your first play-through, because casters require you to know more about the stats and where important gear/npcs are that you most likely wont know the first time through, specifically id recommend a pure strength or quality build strength if you want to feel powerful 1-shotting everything, and quality if you just want to test out most of the weapons you come across, secondly you need to realize dark souls is about taking it slow and not worrying too much about mistakes, 90% of deaths ive seen clips from are always people rushing into grab an item off the ground and getting ambushed or overwhelmed by too many enemies, take your time to spot enemies before you get within aggro distance, look for traps that you can use against the enemies, aggro one at a time if possible, and lastly, dont go hollow, that is to say dont quit the game dark souls is about perseverance, dont quit the game after losing once or twice try again until you succeed, it may take a while but you will eventually defeat that boss or tough enemy you only truly lose when you give up
@@sleepyppl4286 Pure strength is fun. I might do another deathless run, but with a heavy claymore build. I've done most of them with an ultra greatsword, and one with a heavy millwood axe. @@anti-ethniccleansing465 If you have the ringed city dlc you can get 2 rings that increase equip load also there is a boss that you can transpose his soul into a ring that gives more vig end and vit so keep your eyes peeled for that! if youre somehow still stuck on the first boss, id recommend playing as a knight for your first play-through, because casters require you to know more about the stats and where important gear/npcs are that you most likely wont know the first time through, specifically id recommend a pure strength or quality build strength if you want to feel powerful 1-shotting everything, and quality if you just want to test out most of the weapons you come across, secondly you need to realize dark souls is about taking it slow and not worrying too much about mistakes, 90% of deaths ive seen clips from are always people rushing into grab an item off the ground and getting ambushed or overwhelmed by too many enemies, take your time to spot enemies before you get within aggro distance, look for traps that you can use against the enemies, aggro one at a time if possible, and lastly, dont go hollow, that is to say dont quit the game dark souls is about perseverance, dont quit the game after losing once or twice try again until you succeed, it may take a while but you will eventually defeat that boss or tough enemy you only truly lose when you give up
Git Gud scrub
@@sleepyppl4286 Pure strength is fun. I might do another deathless run, but with a heavy claymore build. I've done most of them with an ultra greatsword, and one with a heavy millwood axe. It had the opposite effect on me, when I saw it is not pure single player, but you can get invaded by randos, I rather stay away.
@@FluffySylveonBoi You can get invaded by randos, but only in certain circumstances. In this case, when you've buffed yourself with Embers in DS3, or if you return to being Human in DS1. While Embered/Human, you can summon helpers in CoOp. So it's rarely actually a 1 on 1 if you DO get invaded, and you can enter boss fights to force invaders away. So you can only be invaded if you allow yourself to be invaded.
@@FluffySylveonBoine solution if you want a more solo experience, the games usually have an option to play offline.
