    Your engine is healthy, there is nothing to worry about.

    My 1.6 TDCI does the same. Checked the compression on all four pots, and it was perfect, even in the high end of the tolerance range. And the engine has done 260'000 Kms. They have some stupid features, but once you get to know their quirks, they are ok small units.

    Añado una solución si la presión es excesiva y consume aceite. Cambiar el caño del servofreno a culata. A mi me funcinó

    This is a normal behavior in the 1.6HDi, same as mine and it is not an increased crankcase pressure. If it really blows off the oil cap or the oil dipstick, then you may want to check the PCV valve on the right of the crankcase cover. If that was the case, you would also see oil leaking from the various gasket seals. There is always some blow-by pressure and the PCV valve will take this away to the pre-turbo air intake.

      I have same issue and all my seals are leaking... What could be the reason? The pcv membrane is ok...

      @@vesnajurc4188 Which seals are these? It could be the PCV, but I doubt it. I have not heard one person having crankcase pressure issues with the PCV. If it breaks it will be basically almost always opened, so less pressure.

      @@moremolecules Injector seals, intake manifold seals, vacuum pump seals are all leaking. Also check my posted videos. I am unable to find what is wrong with the engine. Also, the engine runs very rough by the sound of it (check my videos). I will clean intake manifold and replace injectors and valve cover seals today. My mechanic said the issue could be blow by/compression leaking past piston rings.

      @@vesnajurc4188 Yeah, it could well be too much blow by. It better be check through the glow plugs for excessive crankcase pressure. Does it have a DPF and how many miles is on the engine? If the DPF is compltely clogged you might get quite a bit of back pressure. If I were you I would plug it with a computer and see what error codes are there.

      @@moremolecules Thanks for suggestions! I will definitely be taking it to a mechanic to plug it into a computer. Regarding the dpf, the car does have a dpf and it cleaned itself 2 times already in a month. The car is Volvo V50 1.6d with 277k km on the clock. I have bought it recently from somebody who drove it very little and only in the city...

    this is normal behavior even in new 1,6 hdi engine. if you open the plug and the plug is blown off, its a worry situation - this means the pressure is too high

      @@feliciansarpe474 i dont know what exactly name it, i mean oil fill cover. cork? oil filler cap? check it at idle rpm

    What is the reason for high crank pressure.... i have the some problem, after injector seals change.... maybe cover membrane fail.... how can u fix it ?

      The problem is orange rubber gum in the turbo pipe. PCV valve work bad with this bad rubber.

      I have changed injectors seals (not for this reason). In this video crankcase pressure is normal.

      @@alatsa415 pcv valve work bad if orange rubber gum in the turbo pipe is damaged.
