Thank you bro, I’m going to come visit in February and I had no idea that items there are about the same as it is in the US. Thanks for the great content ❤
Watching from Hampton VA US. Many of the food prices seemed to be in step to what a shopper might pay here in the US. Of course if you really want to save money, you want to go somewhere like Waterside marketplace - particularly if it comes to fresh fruit vegetables meat and poultry ( which you didn't cover ). Your transportation segment adequately answered my questions about getting around in Monrovia. The only thing is how does one charter a taxi from RIA to Monrovia?
I went to Liberia in August 13,2023 the food prices were pretty reasonable at the time when i and my fiancé went shopping my grocery came to fifty dollars and I came out with five bags of stuff and I rode in a ka ka and on another day on a motor bike what a great experience but I find that the kaka is very reasonable especially when you have to transport your groceries thanks Liberia ❤
Bro! The prices of those food and household items are great compared to what we pay here in the United States! Obviously, those prices may be too expensive for some Liberians. Thanks bro! Great content as always!
Those prices seem insane for Liberia ,keep in mind that US has a much bigger economy and people make a lot of more money compared to Liberia so paying $7 for eggs might not be a big deal for you in the States but in Liberia is probably a lot of money to spend just on eggs
Rice is very expensive compared to America. Old spice also seems expensive and the oil seems about the same, but besides that everything seems slightly cheaper than what I get it for in Pennsylvania, USA. A four hour taxi ride in the US would probably be like $500 👍🏾
@@joelogan4260nah ur right 10kg is actually a shit ton of rice 😂 it might actually be a little cheaper over there I think I get a 5lb bag of jasmine for $7
Don't you think buying the food stuffs from the supermarket is the reason why the price is so inflated? next time try going to the local market bro, the food there will be fresher and more organic 😁
Hey, im a doctor and i have an opportunity to work in liberia as a doctor, can you please guide me about should i grab this opportunity or not, im curious about the culture, security and stuff?
Bafo! I stay in Johannesburg South Africa and those prices are crazy, they are way too steep, why???? I am comparing them to Pick n Pay and Checkers or even Woolies or clicks or Dischem. In one of your videos you did mention that you did stay/live in South Africa and you indicated that cost of living in SA (ZAR) is a bit expensive to Liberia, but now I am starting to doubt your South African experience. Did you really stay in Mzansi bra??? I feel phizzled now! lol
@denzel1877 I think you should still visit cause there are alot of business opportunities here too. There are a lot of businesses like Uber, star bucks, Mc Donald, kfc, delivery services etc that are in South Africa and not here yet in Liberia. Liberia is like a virgin land.
I work for dove and I can bet you 100% those aren’t legit….the Chinese copying paste everything. Me wondering why listerine cheap in Liberia just to find out it’s Chinese listerine. I give up 😅

The eggs were on the pricey side

The jasmine rice is around the same price here.
Wow that is amazing. 500 USD? but am sure it is because you guys use a meter. Over here there are no meters.
Where are you from if I may ask

@@YourfavoriteliberianboyPhizzle yes exactly, they charge by the mile
I will not get on a bike. I rode a Kaka when I was in Liberia. Thank for sharing this video
Can we also get an idea on the cost of living outside of Monrovia? Like Kakata, Ganta, Gbanga, Maryland, etc
The small tin peak milk is $1 and change
Wow. Im sorry, but the upcharge is crazy! That rice price shocked me.

Yes it’s possible that the local markets are cheaper but The local markets are limited that’s why we decided to go to the supermarket.
@@YourfavoriteliberianboyPhizzle okay I understand, I’m waiting on the next video about the rent 🙌🏽😂
By that time we buying powder peak milk that size for 22 and change oh.
Is uber working in liberia.?
Nope

It’s a peaceful environment, the people are friendly.
Is little bit expensive compared to where I lived.
where do you live ? if I may ask.
In Gambia I want to come home 🏠 to live but.
@lucykpaan36 oh okay that’s nice.
Prices almost the same. Milk is a bit higher here

With housing and accommodation Liberia is cheaper and with food Liberia is expensive.
@@YourfavoriteliberianboyPhizzle Meaning what? South Africa is expensive in both accomodation and grocery in your experience???
Sorry it was a mistake I just edited it.
@@YourfavoriteliberianboyPhizzle I see, but honestly I expected Liberia to be cheaper than SA in all respects. Can't visit now.

I can't see myself living in Liberia and eating processed food that has no health benefits.
