Being 31 and and finally making the decision to move home I can honestly say that moving back home takes a lot of planning as for me I've been planning for the last four to five years. It's very critical that we understand that income is a very crucial part of living in any area of part of the world. The moment I realized that income is a major part of relocating to any destination I begin working on that aspect because I know that's the only thing that can keep me from coming back every other Factor can be maneuvered through absolutely.
I'm glad people are getting involved in their homeland. It's all we've got. Good and bad, its ours. And only Liberians worldwide, can make the LIBERIA we dream of. Thanks Phizzle... more GOLD
I’ll be honest, hearing you guys talk about the freedom you all have in Liberia and expressing how people can drink and drive is alarming to me! I think the reason why a lot of Liberians in the diaspora don’t feel comfortable or safe enough to make a definite investment or even moving back to Liberia is because of the lack of order. That’s one thing I cannot get down with. What are the actually enforcements in Liberia? 😭 and I was born there but moved to the states when I was a toddler. I’d love to return one of these days but i have my reservation. Healthcare is priority on my list, education, and infrastructure. What will it take for Liberians abroad like myself to not be on guard when it comes to stepping foot in the motherland of sweet Liberia? LASTLY, I really think Liberia is a beautiful country. It really is, and I don’t think Liberians living there actually know this.
Would like to here from people who born in the west who came to africa for the first time in their mid 20-30s. Need a mixture of people in this conversation because there many of us who come to liberia as born americans or europeans but its very hard to flow into the liberian society because ppl see us a way out. Very hard to start things, always broken down because people think we are the enemies and with that midset our business we bring are broken down because people think we come from free money but are so quick to accept the white missionary people. Hope to hear next conversation from a different angle 👍🏿
I disagree with you bro it’s not hard to build or rebuild. What is holding Liberia back is lack of leadership and massive corruption. Corruption has eaten the very fabric of the Liberian society. Corruption is the language of the day in Liberia.
Liberia doing ok , but Liberia needs to use their own money like others Africa country and stop using the US dollars, based on my last vacation to liberia 6 months ago the country too expensive.
Liberian English Bible says"People who humble can be happy, because God will give them the earth. 6 “People who really want do the thing dem that good in God eye can be happy, because they will be satisfy. 7 “Those who can feel sorry for people can be happy, because they will feel sorry for them too. 8 “People who get clean heart can be happy, because they will see God. 9 “People who can make peace can be happy, because God will call them his children. 10 “People who they treat bad for doing the right thing can be happy, because the Kingdom that in heaven will be for them."
Bro keeps saying that he is not fully accepted because of his accent, lol you been in the country since 1996, and you want us to believe that you fully speak "series"? Even in the interview, i can hear you holding back your clear liberian accent. Cool interview, though.
The guy in the pink is trying so hard to sound American, than he forgets his true self comes out. BS saying he's not accepted because of his series (forgave my spelling) I've been in this country since i was 9 yrs, and haven't lost my Liberian accent.
Very good conversation. Me and my daughter will be coming to Liberia for the first time. I can't wait! 💕
