I visited family in Liberia last week. The cost of living is inconsistent overall. We rented an 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house in Paynesville for $80 a day. The price of groceries from the supermarket was high in my perspective. Cereal, milk, egg, bacon, water, bread, ect. cost 2 or 3xs compare to US. We got gas on Robertsfield highway for $8 per gallon.
They import everything, Liberia don’t produce anything ofc it will be expensive and those Lebanese and India and Chinese ppl don’t care they hype the prices
Am glad, i had the chance to send my car & others things back home. I need to buy the out going car charger, you don't need to look for care around to help you charge your car.
According the information in internet the minimum salary by law in LIBERIA is about 140.- US$. For monthly expenses you mention about 1.300.-US$ are needed. Obviously their is a huge gap for many LIBERIAN people. Please provide your data on a written list- thank you. Please explain how the liberian people and the liberian "system" is managing the daily life. Thank you very much If possible- I like to meet you personally in your country.
Valuable information… I missed the grand total cost of living in Liberia… at what point on the video timeline is the grand total mentioned? If the amount is not included, could you please offer an update with that figure? Thanks for the work
Hello I did at the end … It’ll cost roughly $1,300 per month to live comfortably. One can live with less but if you’re coming from the diaspora, there’re certain level of comfort one may not want to live without
@@liberia-totheworld9628 thanks for the feedback… I guess my math was off because the figure I was got was more than $1300 USD… another person I shared your video with had the same concern
Thank you so much for this. Very enlightening video. Please how many GB gigabytes of data is $USD 10 per week that you said you spend? PS: I'm currently on my way to Liberia 😃. It's an incredibly expensive country 😩.
Hey!! Thanks for 2024 updates, I truly appreciate your efforts towards Liberia 🇱🇷 as a Liberian 🎉🎉🎉. Everything in Liberia prices are too high up. Wazup with them & that?
They do have high speed internet, up to 5g in certain areas Download and upload speed too is pretty fast comparable to US , those will cost u about $150 per month 😊
It’s the reality of things In life you can make it as simple as you want and to the question of benefits of living in Liberia it’s for each person to decide. For me I see tremendous benefits in all aspects, choose what level you want to be at and live comfortably, if Liberia is not for you , then be where you feel more at peace . Thanks for watching
No, I appreciate your honesty and giving a great picture of what you’re going to getting into. I don’t have any family members or historical background in Liberia and exploring possible countries to relocate from the USA. What I was hoping was some insight on the benefits and things that attracted you to Liberia vs any other country. What is special for you. What makes the hassle worth it.
Obviously U can live in Liberia for even 50 per month …. But what u can’t do is live the lifestyle I laid out for far less then what I mentioned This is a starting point
@@liberia-totheworld9628 $50 per month, if you take bath from buckets, no electricity, drink swamp water or well water, live with the mosquito. I was just in Liberia less than one month ago. Liberia is a very difficult place to live, even for Liberians who live there.

So if you were to factor in $400/MO for housing to budget the new total would be $1,700 ?@@liberia-totheworld9628
It's crazy how expensive gas is there considering how close Nigeria is.
