      SlowSpyder - I appreciate your comment. I'm a Vikings, been so since 1973, and I love, love, love watching Aaron Rodgers (even against the Vikings) After that throw in the playoff game to Jared Cook vs. Dallas, I was done "hating" and began watching with true admiration, much the same way I watched the Big Red Machine, Yankees, Steelers and Canadiens of the 70's; Gretzky, Magic and Bird in the 80's and Jordan in the 90's ... excellence must be appreciated, and Aaron Rodgers is in the aforementioned class for his craftsmanship. As an aside, I do think if all the Packers ever get (going into their 31st year) from the absolute best, most elite level of QB play that any one franchise has had for a three decade run is 2 S.B.'s - it will be a shame.

    I came to watch Brett Favre highlights after seeing his name in the news. Man I miss watching him play. I am a KC fan, and we have our own gunslinger now, but Favre was special. That has got to be one of the best throws I have ever seen in the NFL, and there is a long list of good ones. It’s a damn shame he didn’t win the MVP that year.

    • @D2Kprime
      @D2Kprime 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mahomes has a lot of Favre in him. He has that same swag. He makes the game fun. He puts up a lot of numbers, but he's not trying to be the perfect-passer. He plays like they are in the backyard, just like Brett did.

    FYI Greg Lewis is the WR's coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. No wonder the Legion of Zoom is so good. I watched this live as it happened from the comfort of my home. Shocked in disbelief in what had just happened as the preseason tension just dissipated from my body and nothing but confidence was felt for the rest of that year in the quest for the Super Bowl. We all KNEW it was our season at this very moment. This was the key moment to pushed the team forward to dominate everyone until the NFCCG against the Saints.

After Brett Favre threw the winning touchdown my brother could hear the roar of the crowd when he was outside the stadium. It was decent coverage with minimal room to land your feet inbounds. Just about as bang-bang as you can get, in a game where you’re trailing by four, a FG cannot help you. You needed the TD and Favre delivers it.

    I definitely agree that this play really sparked the whole team.
    Adrian Peterson chose to have his worst year when Brett Favre was here. So many 1 yard gains or runs for losses and ALOT of fumbles.
    AP has his best seasons in the most meaningless years.

He's not the character that Brett and doesent have quite the zip on the fastball but if there was ever a guy that reminds me of Brett it's him. He gets his ass handed to him playing teams in the afc north and if he can go he does and he's never crying for a flag.
