Last night I took my first salsa lesson. I am 73. I could not stop smiling and telling the teacher how much fun I was having. Actually, I was always on the verge of clapping and jumping up and down, but restrained myself a bit! I have never been a dancer, but I am now! Notice I did not say good dancer, just a joyful dancer! I also remember you talking about lifting weights. I have been bench pressing and can now bench a weight 65% of my body weight. I will have to try just lifting some heavier weights on my carries. I regularly carry 50# but if I just lifted and stood still I bet I could do a whole lot more! You are an inspiration, young lady!
I love the simplicity of this and your kind presentation. I do almost all these things and I used to be strict about it all.. It felt hard. And then I gifted myself with a quasi-regime that was intentional but not demanding. "Usually" I do 16:8 fasting, "usually" I use castor oil or other body oils, "usually" I work out or walk every day, "usually" I meditate, write, or play the piano every day, "usually" I avoid factory-prepared food. It's made all the difference to me to give myself a pass when I don't do what I usually do because my mind, heart, and soul feel cared for and my body is fine for a day or two outside my usual. You're awesome, Diana! Merry Christmas! xo karen
In Hungary we have a saying which translates as "You can put a wig on a sow but you can't make it smile. If you feed vodka to a monkey it will laugh, but it will die. But tickle a rat and you are unlikely to not also be happy (unless it bites you)"
Diana, I love your haircut! It looks so great on you! Can you do a video on how you cut and style your hair? It’s kind of a wedge cut isn’t it? Not many people now know how to do this cut well but you have it mastered. I just love it! ❤
Oh yes! I have asked this before. Diana do you have a natural curl in your hair? My hair can make my day or break it. It might be vain, but a good hair day helps my self esteem. Love your hair.
Thank you, ladies! I actually cut my hair just about every 5-7 days whenever it starts sticking out. I just look in the mirror and if there is a heavy part or something sticking out, I always think to myself "That could never happen in a good haircut so I'm just going to chop that off!" and I do. I haven't quite figured out how to turn that into a video though!
Diana, wonderful reminders. I also wanted to let you know that I bought your backpack suitcase in order to take all my gear to my sons house for Thanksgiving. Boy is it ever neat;so many compartments and it allowed me to take my laptop securely (Sp). Thanks so much for doing a vlog about it. Super!! Cheers
I love this video so much!!! I do appreciate my coffee cup in the morning and appreciate the wonderful morning light that comes in my back window. Gratitude 🙏. I think I Need that face mask in my life!! And yes, strength training is Sooo important. I just have to be more consistent with it though. Great video! Thank you!!
I love this. I agree with all these things! I do like Jojoba oil too. Give it a try. Fasting, castor oil, strength teaining, gratitude, etc. is a part if ny kife and has changed my life. U do want to get a sauna blanket!
Hi! You can click through this and see the LED face mask. It's super on sale right now. www.qureskincare.com/UNBLAHYOURSELF I recommend the bundle that has the mask and the serum! I know it says something about acne but it's the same mask. It has one setting for wrinkles and another for acne.

Thank you Karen! We all need to be easy on ourselves while giving it our best!
Great advice! This applies to everyone, but especially us older ladies, not to let ourself go! Care, look pretty for yourself.

I would add this one: Don't judge, yourself or others!
I'm sure you realize that that is my downfall!🤣
It is for a lot of us!

Valuable points covered thanks, just disappointed not to see the kitties 😊
