morning Im 76 but love your ideas on all the scarf ideas making me have many changed I love the long floaty yellow n black pattern color Thanks for tutorials n you have a great personality not easy when talking into a camera so appreciate your videos Diana Ellen from New Zealand
I wanna be in your gang 😂....you're so kooky, fun, stylish and beautiful! I just love your attitude....the scarf tutorial was great too! Thanks for brightening up my day....even though i have a ton of stuff to do and shouldn't be spending all day watching your TH-cam channel 😂❤
I really appreciate this video Diana cause precious and uptight is not my expression. BTW, the blunt but not too layered hair is my favorite on you and you wear it fusslessly. Brava.
I adore your dry humor as much as your creative fashion sense. I also love scarves yet often come off as too stewardess-y. Not anymore! Thank you for these scarf tip gems ❤
Excellent tips and tutorials in this video. Thank you for sharing. I especially appreciated the head/hair scarf tips and tutorials, but I didn't get 'pirate' from those. Instead, the way you did it was more 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'. 🙂
I enjoy your videos! I also enjoy being creative and casual with any accesory, including silk scarves! That said, depending on the outfit, prim and proper is what works best sometimes, like if the vibe is a vintage tailored skirt suit.
I tried tying scarves the way they show in these tutorials, but I felt so “not me” and I lost interest. This video is perfect for me, I look so much better when I’m more casual 😊 The white and red one is gorgeous!
I agree that tying scarves too prim and proper is really boring and looks too conservative. I prefer the cooler way you do them. That's one reason I stopped wearing scarves but now I have a whole new love for them. ❤
I love the hat/scarf combo! Also, love the two scarves together in the bike example. BTW, I wore your Ani scarf yesterday and got my hair cut in a beginning french bob. this old lady felt SO chic!
I love your videos!! Just started binging them a week ago. My motto is you can never have too many scarves, necklaces or earrings. I have mostly pashminas and not one silk scarf as during my Canadian winters I can’t stand having a cold neck. I generally don’t wear scarves in the summer and just wear lotsa necklaces. I’m a costume jewellery lover. However, I’m going to start looking for lighter silk scarves which you make look so lovely and can make an outfit.
I like your video. Living all my life in MN and WI I have those , you would love it here one needs an entire extra collection of warm and colorful scarves.
A scarf just hung round the neck and not tied at all, with the ends hanging down at the front, can really elongate the look of the neck! And you will look fantastic!
I apologise for recommending the Lilith Moon scarf tutorials to you! I’m so sorry. And you’re right. I think the tutorials are helpful when you start with scarves - I didn’t grow up with them and I had no idea how to wear them until recently. But now I have more confidence I can do as you do and wear them to enjoy them and the fabric, rather than following lots of steps. Again, I’m sorry.
Great video. I've been watching those how-to videos too about styling scarves, Thank you for affirming my choice to collect but not watch many of them. The last thing I want to think about as I'm ""dressing up" is how to do a complicated folding technique on what is already a beautiful piece of fabric. Still, these videos do seem to suggest some ways of using swaths of fabric as clothing. Do you have any videos about clothes that look good with scarves?
Hi Mary Lou! I'm glad you got my overall point, that scarves are beautiful and meant to be enjoyed without overthinking or overcomplicating it. I think you have a great idea there: I should do a video on clothes that look great with scarves. I need to think about that!
Hi! Thanks! My necklace is something I sell on Etsy. Here's my store: www.etsy.com/shop/haelixdesigns but I haven't listed this particular opal necklace just yet!
I don't have a lot of scarves and (up to now) haven't worn them often. I should make a video of myself putting them on in different ways (not prim and proper), just to make you laugh. This is easy for you. Hasn't really "landed" for me (yet). ☺
I do feel like I'm being a bit condescending in video, which I noticed when editing... so I tried editing myself then I felt like I was saying nothing at all, so I kept it in. So yes I agree with you, and at the same time, I really am saying what I think so at least I'm being myself. I always attempt to be kind and inclusive and say something unique, but it doesn't always end up the way I intend. Thanks for your input!
@@unblahyourself I wonder if it might be cultural too. Many of the videos I've watched show Korean women wearing scarves. I would like to know how various actresses tied silk scarves around their heads to ride in convertibles or ride horses. Somebody like Grace Kelly comes to mind.
@@mdavisscadedu ooh yeah, we all like those head scarf looks, but are they pinned like crazy underneath? How are those staying on?! The whole neatly tied scarf thing is highly Korean but plenty of American women are making these videos too...yet I see almost no one wearing these styles in public, which makes me think that people like to watch the craft of tying fabric but they found out that these neat styles actually didn't make their outfit better.
Pretty Cool. Actually, Pretty and Cool
Thank you! ❤

The scarves with hat look is incredibly chic!
WHOA the scarf under the hat looks AMAZING! great idea!
I adore scarves! I have scarves that are older than you! I would appreciate a video on caring for them.
Great idea!

My mom always wore scarves and I passed that onto my daughter. It’s fun to get decorated!

I have some interesting scarf videos coming up next week! Stay tuned!
I'm a beginner thx for the tips 🎉
Happy to help!
You look like Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. Very chic and soigné. Brava!

Michigander here! In winter, scarves are my favorite accessory, lol.
Great tips!! 👍
Thank you! ❤
I bought my first scarf today. 😊
Hope you enjoy it! I definitely have plenty of videos about scarves if you need any tips!
So beautiful! You and your scarfs 🤩 Now I know not to look like a flight attendant with MY scarfs 😉 thank you so much, this is really inspiring 🌺
You are so welcome! Glad you liked it!
I also love scarves. But... I'm a bit chubby and my neck is a bit short. Do you have any suggestion for me, besides not wearing them?...
Maybe in your hair or tied to a purse? You can also create a little cuff bracelet!

Oh gosh don't be sorry there's all sorts of ways to do things! Let's all just love scarves together! 😁

Hi Range!
I’ve always disliked man collars, too!
They just feel and look so unnatural to me!
I really love your styles for tying scarves. They look so beautiful under a hat. Thanks for the fun video.
I love scarves. All the colors and designs! But tying them neatly makes the e look too polished and that looks old.
a little condisending

I disagree! This is not condescending, this is great advice, because it’s practical, ❤
always amazing videos from you 😊
Thank you! 😘
