    Here are a few additional interesting facts I know about the game:
    - About that Keaton Mask fact: If you speak to Zelda in the german version while wearing it she literally tells you that “you look like a Pocket Monster“.
    - Due to a glitch the Gerudo who hands you the Gerudo token changes the color of her pants and lipstick depending on the tunic Link is wearing. This glitch was then fixed in the later versions of the game.
    - You can use the Fishing Rod on the Fishing Hole Man to steal his hat and reveal his baldness. Afterwards you can decide to give him back his hat or to throw it into the pond so that it is lost forever but if you do that you have to pay him back 50 Rupees as compensation.

    I'm always down for more Ocarina of Time secrets and trivia! I've a few more to add:
    - Dark Link's health is based on your own max health. The number of heart containers you have will be the number of Master Sword hits it takes to defeat him.
    - Inside Spirit Temple, you can hookshot to the nipples on the statue leading to the boss room.
    - Dogs do not exist in the adult timeline.
    - The sound Ganondorf makes when he flies around are the same as when you cast the fishing rod.
    - The color of Saria's fairy is randomized in each new file.
    - When two Redeads are next to each other, defeating one will have the other one walk over to its buddy and mourn it until it disappears.

    Those blue temple of time blocks are so clearly made of time shift stone, the differences are they only timeshift in between seven years instead of thousands of years like in Skyward Sword. Also they activate only to 1 specific song, rather than being struck. When you look at Skyward Sword, it was clear they wanted to expand on the time blocks mechanic from OOT.

    A lesser known interaction with Talon at Lon Lon Ranch actually reveals some very interesting lore and backstory to the family. If you speak to Talon while wearing the Gerudo mask he'll remark that it reminds him of his wife but he suddenly becomes scared by openly admitting that and tells Link to forget what he said.
    This explains why Malon's mother is nowhere to be found yet she clearly knows her mother as she was taught Epona's Song. Her Gerudo heritage is also confirmed by the fact she's one of the few characters in OoT with red hair - a trait Nintendo has sparingly used for characters compared to the more common blonde and brown hair for Hylians.

    • @AngelicusEXperiment
      @AngelicusEXperiment 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He makes the same comment when you speak to him with any other mask on, though, so I'm not sure that really does confirm anything. At most, I think all it confirms is that Talon has bleary vision when he's just waking up. Sorry to have to pour salt on your theory, but it's not the first time I've seen it.. ^^'

    • @KryyssTV
      @KryyssTV 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AngelicusEXperiment You really need to check your facts. Talon has several different reactions to various masks. The Gerudo reaction is only shared with the Goron mask but we know he can't have had a daughter with a Goron so it must be an in-joke about his wife being a big lady. ( th-cam.com/video/lpmDXijaTfc/w-d-xo.html )

    • @KryyssTV
      @KryyssTV 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Zachary Erickson Don't confuse speculation with facts. Rosso never says he's a Goron nor a blood relative to them. The complete absence of Gorons in ALBW further complicated matters. Adding to this we also have the fact Darunia made the Hero of Time an honorary Goron and adopted him into his family as a brother which means Hylians can be part of a Goron family.
      Being a descendant doesn't mean you have to be a biological descendant, these are called lineal descendants in legal terms. For example, it's possible for someone with no native American bloodline to be of native American descendant if their biological ancestor was enrolled into a tribe. A scenario identical to what happened to the Hero of Time.

    • @KryyssTV
      @KryyssTV 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I saw in MaskedNintendoBandit’s video that if ya wear the gerudo mask then talk to talon, he claims it looks like his wife before denying it. Wearing it then talking to nabooru will have her day it looks like her before denying it. This implies that nabooru may be talon’s wife and malon’s mother

      Try to locate the very early interviews that Nintendo agreed to do back in the day about talking about Ocerina of Time in more detail. They are in fact real, and not made up; I have no idea how I found them myself. There is likely more information about the game that is not talked about yet, at least of early 2000s that I could find. The rep specifically said that he was going through all of his notes to select certain things to say for when he was going to be interviewed that he believed the people playing the game would want to hear about. There is repeated information that was said in the video and comments that the Nintendo reps already talked about, but I do not blame you. I do not even think that few of the Nintedo Employees knew that they were even getting interviewed at the time when it happened.

    Seeing the blocks being moved with the song of time made me think it was a leftover idea, where the song of time is what switches you between the past and the present, not whether you have the master sword, and it would be a kind of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver situation where switching between the two worlds would reveal passages that events in the past and future would reveal and obscure.

    Hey Zeltik have you ever considered looking at the Stalfos from skyward sword? Like how they only appear in holy locations in the Faron region in rooms designed to look/go skyward? And how a few finally get to skyloft. Unlike other summoned monsters their bones are already in those rooms, maybe they were mortals trying to go through trials meant for the hero and hubris like theirs is what brought about the odd curse of the lost woods that would spawn around farore's holy woods
