Same thing happens when we cook vada pav at home… entire family unites in kitchen 😂😂😂 and checks if vada is ready or not just to grab it hot immediately😅😅 One note: take ginger garlic green chilli coriander leaves and 2-3 mint leaves and make paste of it. Put this paste in hot oil once mustard seeds pop out and then add curry leaves and turmeric powder and salt. Once paste is cooked you have to put potatoes and at the end put fresh fine chopped coriander leaves. Always avoid potatoes which are sweet. Use red potatoes they taste better. For batter use chickpeas powder + 10% refined wheat floor + 10% rice floor + 10% corn floor. This makes vada crispy. And again you get 2 types of Paav. One is sweet and other is normal paav which is not sweet. Use the one which is not sweet. Video was superb ❤❤❤❤ enjoyed a lot. It reminds me of my childhood days 😂😂
@Tradercoderworld thank you so much for your inputs and your suggestions, we’ll remember them for our next #vadapav making 😊, thank you for your kind words and support ❤️🙏🏻
Welldone that's exactly how you eat a vadapav I saw your other vlog where you ate separately but yea this is how you enjoy it and yea for the chilli you can take a small bite of it after a bite of vadapav.. cheers 👍😊
@Ra_CrickTalks thank you for your kind words, we tried our best in making them according to a recipe we found online, it tasted very similar to the ones we had on the streets a while back, th-cam.com/video/QG98rgiP7Og/w-d-xo.html But nothing tastes like the ones from outside, as driving in the rains and getting vada pav and chai is the best combination 😊 Thank you for your support ❤️🙏🏻
Hey Kudos! guys, The wada surely looked good and authentic but main ingredient in Batata Wada is garlic, ginger, chili, coriander, curry leaves. If the garlic cloves are 10 to 15 then 40% their size would be ginger and chilis could be at least 5-6 for this much quantity. But my my, in spite of no base in Indian cooking you surely made a very good try... Simply enjoyed watching your efforts...
@DJosh20 thank you for your inputs, we’ll adjust our recipe accordingly to your suggestions and try them again. Thank you for your kind words and your support ❤️🙏🏻
The way u guys helped each other to make the food and enjoyed while eating. That makes this video "THE DAY" I really loved it. Family time.❤️❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️
They are looking absolutely fabulous, you can win food competition with such type of batata vadas.(In fact several maharashtrian ladies are getting envy after seeing these barata vadas)

God bless you all and all thumps up for making so authentic Vada paavs ... I beleive these were the best as it's got honest efforts by the entire family 👏👏🌹🌹🌹 Bravo .. keep posting 🎉
You can also make Potatoe, onion, boiled egg, spinach and many other types of fritters with the same batter. Hot fritters are usually enjoyed with a cup of hot tea especially in winters and monsoons. You can also put them in a pav and enjoy it if you wish but usually it is eaten without pav.
Hello family I am from India I am Maharashtrian I love vada pav and tea chai my recommendation is Maharashtrian puran poli making next recipe try it in a Maharashtrian festival famous dish recipe puran poli sweet poli😊✌️🙋🇮🇳🙏
@Kokanchisavali563 thank you for your suggestion, that does sound delicious and will definitely be on our try list when we get to Maharashtra again, soon, we’ve just been waiting out the heavy rains. Thank you for your support ❤️🙏🏻
Hats off to your family to cook vada pav from scratch in your kitchen, it's not an easy recipe to make for a lot of native Indians but you guys did it and did it excellently. Also the fact that you are eating local foods and checking out real india and not just big cities and 5 star hotels. God bless you all.
@amyth1987 experiencing real India is the best way to explore and experience the real India, even though 5 stars are great, it doesn’t bring out the true experience and beauty of India 🇮🇳. Thank you for your kind words and your support ❤️🙏🏻
Very proud of you all. You are not only enjoying Maharashtrian food but also trying it out yourself and doing like an expert maharashtrian. You should try another Maharashtrian speciality i.e. Sabudana Vada and Sabudana Khichadi. Definitely it is very easy to make and you all would love it from bottom of your heart. If you want to taste real sabudana Vada, apart from Mumbai you can visit Pune & enjoy same. Importantly, both Sabudana Vada and Sabudana Khichadi use no spices and chilli powder but is very tasty and healthy dish
That's mouthwatering...grt efforts guys... U cud add tamarind chutney which is sweet inside pav with dry garlic powder combo with green chutney wud definitely enhance the taste..NXT time in potato stuffing add lemon juice a bit wud be delicious..njoy I make usually at home from Mumbai...
Awesome family❤ I am very happy to see your families enjoyment. Especially you are trying and success to preparing the Indian dishes❤God bless you dears😊
It's amazing to see foreigners making vada pav so well! Vada pav is a popular Indian street food, consisting of a spicy potato fritter (vada) served in a bun (pav) with various chutneys. The skill involved in perfectly frying the vada, balancing the spices, and making soft pav is impressive. It's great to see how food can transcend cultural boundaries and bring joy to people from different backgrounds.
@Maddy16724 very well said, food brings everyone closer from all walks of life! And the food is so delicious, we just can’t help it but try and make it ourselves, might not taste/look like it should, but we’re learning. Thank you for your support 🙏🏻❤️
