Very very good attempt. I am 70yrs old. I have seen my grand mother, mother , wife and now my daughter too prepare it in close quarters. It doesn't take too much time. In India two people joint hands and make it. Its easier and faster. If you want to make it faster then you have to first make all things ready including the spread before one lights the gas. Then on the gas to heat full and control the heat by slowing it down when required and increase it when its low in heat. To taste it better ad cardamom powder to the jaggery. secondly met the butter when you are heating the pan Thirdly the porunpoli is to be made into six to eight pieces and the milk must be soaked into it till it is fully absorbed. Then , when eaten in that manner one will relish it. CHEERS.

Gulab jamun should melt in your mouth. I see both dad and son are chewing . Its bit hard. Remedy is put little more ghee or melted butter to the dow and keep mixing till its soft. Spend more time mowing or pressing the doe. More you do so it will be softer.
