@pbeluckley Hi Phil, thank you so much! That means a lot to us, especially coming from a local. I am slightly jealous though that you live in such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you again!
@worthytravels no problems, always happy to give good praise. Are you still in the Cotswolds or if not will you be returning one day?? I could give you a few villages that are not tourist hotspots but are fantastic places to visit.
@@pbeluckley yes, please! We would love to get recommendations from you. We’re back in America now but we always go back to England every year. And we will move back too in the very near future. 🙂Thank you so much for your help!

@@thomasklotzle5065 Hi there! Would love you give you recommendations but also could you let me know which areas or counties you wish to visit? Are you interesred in Bibury? Bath? Castle Combe?
After some thought, we have decided to rent a car at Heathrow and drive to the Cotswolds. First stop is Burford, northernmost Chipping Campden and then south through Bibury, Tetbury, Lacock and then back to Heathrow. We have 3 days and are looking at Airbnb accommodations. We are watching your videos and open to suggestions. Thanks so much!
@@thomasklotzle5065 Malmesbury and around that area would be a great place for you to stay. It’s almost right in the center and close to A roads and the M4 too. Have you looked at airbnbs in that area?
Too many tourists 300,000 a year some very rude people as well knocking at your door asking can they take a tour of your house like its somekind of museum and especially tourists taking photos through your windows without asking..SMH
@KNIGHTSTEMPLAR13 Oh my goodness, that's so frustrating. We saw something similar when we were at Castle Combe. It was 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday and a busload of tourists were shouting and making a lot of noise on private driveways, on kerbs, etc.. Some were peering into windows too. I felt so bad for the residents of the village and I could relate since we lived in the New Forest for a very long time. That's why we decided to include a little appeal in our video. I really hope it changes soon. - Denise
Love this video! I would love to visit someday ❤
