You are a teacher at heart!Thank you for caring enough to help people feed their family on a budget! I learned so much from watching these videos! ❤
Thank you so much! Yes, once a teacher, always a teacher I guess. 😁 I am just so glad I can help others stretch their budgets. That makes me so happy! 🥰

Hi Kristen! I always grab a cup of coffee and a pen and paper and take notes on these videos! They are so helpful, thank you!!
Awww. You made my day! So glad these videos are a help for you! 🥰
So many of the holiday items I'm looking forward to stocking up on. I know it's still spring but I even think Christmas when I see the red tableware items.
Way to plan ahead! I love it! ❤️ 🌲
I like to stock up on red plates, cups, and napkins after Memorial Day. They are perfect all summer long and also for Christmas and Valentine's Day. Red markdown plates with some Christmas or white napkins looks great for the holidays.
Sooo smart! There are plenty of holidays where we use red...and it's all the better when we get those decorations on clearance! 🥰
Girl!! I remember when ground beef would be on sale for $0.79-$0.99/lb back when I first got married!!

You are so welcome! That is my goal. To help you save money - and time! 🥰
Like you, I prefer to find clearance items after the holiday or season. Patio furniture and school supplies are a great deal in September. I’ve found red white and blue paper plates and beach towels for a great price after the holidays too. Here’s a great tip…Look for seasonal clearance in your drug stores. I’ve found amazing deals on these clearance shelves. I found individual wrapped cleaning towels marked from $1.99 to 13 cents, I bought the entire container! If you have a Rite Aid nearby, they are having a 75% sale on a lot of items. I found cold medicine items that don’t outdate for one to two years for $2. Thanks for all the great advice Kristen!
Great idea!! We don't have a Rite Aide and I have sadly gotten out of the CVS and Walgreens habit. Maybe once I am done teaching, I can add that into my rotation, because you are right. Sometimes the unexpected stores bring the best deals!
I usually vacuum seal our meats but how long is it safe keep hamburger meat in the freezer I think chicken is six months but sealed up vacuum sealer may last longer than not😊
I have never had a problem with my meat lasting a year in the upright freezer - and that is without vacuum sealing, so I think you are just fine! I just try to always use the oldest first so it is getting rotated but I don't worry about it too much at all.
Do you ever buy a cow or half a cow? I have found it to be cheaper than the grocery store.,
Not yet! But I did just buy half a Hog at our school auction! 😊 For me, I generally stock up on ground beef at Memorial Day and Labor Day and buy enough then to last me all year. That's my hope and plan for this year too! But, if you / we can't find sales...then buying a cow outright is the way to go!
