i use coconut oil and butter in my pie crust. Just a thought. Great haul.

I’ve been using melted butter in place of vegetable oil. I feel better about butter than the highly processed seed oils. I use bacon fat for popping popcorn. Game changer
I use bacon grease for frying my potatoes. I will have to give it a try for popcorn too!
Bacon grease for potatoes is good. On popcorn doesn't sound good to me. Different strokes for different folks.

We grab ground chuck the one time it is on sale at Reisbecks for $3.99 a lb. We get enough for the month and it really saves.

Got excited for you again on the flour. Amazing deals for the month! I am doing my best to stay out of the store until the middle of the month this month. I am hoping for great sales at the end and stay under budget. 🤞🏻I went back over all my receipts from the last few months to see what splurges we had and where I might have overspent and we only spent $20 each month on things I consider non-essentials like chips, soda and other treats. It seems that our spending is still on track and there isn’t a lot of extras to cut. Yours looks about the same so your new budget is working great. 😊

How many refrigerators do you have?
2 refrigerators. But I really only use 1. The extra garage fridge is mainly for drinks and an occasional grocery overflow. I do have an extra upright freezer and I use every inch of that!
