    How to create a floor with multiple heights.
    Basics are,
    right click plan view and select 'add level at same elevation',
    double click the new level tab at top left of plan view.
    and change the elevation setting.
    Now when you add floors and walls to that level, they will be height adjusted.
    Note: Also select 'Display all levels' in 3d view so that you can see all levels better when viewing.

    I hope you get paid for instructing somewhere, because it is your calling. Well paced and to the point, both as to movements and vocal delivery. No wasted motion, no pointless jabber, no distracting background music. Well done, and thank you.

    I thought I'd check out this video even though I didn't need too, as your videos are quite good.

    Just solved my problem perfectly! I'm redesigning the interior of an old boat, and it has one level about 450mm above the other. Thank you.

    You are fantastic, Sean Wasere (I presume that's your name?). Thank you for making elements of Sh3d so very clear.

    Just wander if you can make a level deviation so let's say the floor level starts on 0 and goes to -20cm. That is for exterior design purposes.

    Thanks for the help, but there is something wrong with your video. Its unsynchronized with the voice over. At the start there is a whole part which looks like you are replying to you tube comments and has nothing to do with the example at hand. Actual relevant video starts at about 1:30???

      i don't know. it was ok for many years. I guess YT changed something and now its wrecked. The changes i made using there editor are not active anymore. I am re saving it to see if it fixes it.

      @@sbcode thanks for replying. that all makes some sense. having looked at your other excellent videos, was struggling to figure out why you would have done this. good luck with YT.

    Thank you so much for this video! There is only one problem o cannot figure out after doing this and that’s getting the furniture to line up on the lower level after. There is a gap between and is appears as if the furniture I place on the lower level is floating. I cannot figure out how to pull the wall down or lowers the furniture so it will all line up together and still look normal

    • @sbcode
      @sbcode  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It sounds like when you are adding the furniture, you may have the higher level as the active level. Try making the lower level the active level.
