@M W living as an Aroace in the Philippines is very hard. In my experience, people constantly think I'm broken. My family once sent me to therapy because they thought I had a mental disorder or a brain damage. People often think i'm heartless, and they never take me seriously because of the fact that they think I'm "impossible" or just traumatized by something. People always call me sexuality a "new sexuality" because they have never seen or heard about people like me before. Other than that, in the Philippines, the media is OBSESSED with romantic culture and crush culture is literally the only thing you can watch on TV.
@@reeselagmay6088 We're part of the LGBTQIA community, we're literally the A. Don't let people tell you that we're not, they're just being mean. Just because our struggles are not the same doesnt mean we don't struggle at all. It's BS if people think we are easily more accepted than those who are homosexual. Especially in very religious households, it is a requirement ESPECIALLY in women to get married and have children. If you don't have those then you are a disgrace and incomplete and not going with the will of God 🙄 That's what happens when you lack of representation in your community. Nobody will listen because nobody spoke up in the first place

It's been a year since I came out as a lesbian! I'm also with the kindest and prettiest gf in the world! It's a celebration but not until there's liberation for all us LGBTQ+. Pride is a protest! Let's fight and create safe spaces for all of us. 🌈💗 Love has no gender and it is never wrong.

I hope that the future Philippines is more like an open community. Taboo issues should be addressed not only LGBTQ but also abortion, mental health, divorce, religion at iba pang mga usapin. Kasi tayong lahat din naman nag bebenefit. If we are open to those discussions, we can make more opportunities and ma uunify din tayong mga Pilipino. Your mindset is your power.

Being part of LGBTQIA is really hard at first. Therefore, if you knew that you are not alone, there are still people with the same gender as you are. There's nothing wrong about it. I am proud to say that I am part of it. Although I haven't found my partner yet hehe, I know God will give me one and that relationship will be full of Love and Happiness 💖💛❤️♥️

This is a really good take/reaction on these assumptions. Like seriously, all things can happen whether you're straight or not, it is just being highlighted just because it is a LGBTQ+ thing. I commend this video and I hope those who are watching be enlightened and open-minded enough to understand this things.

It's not about what you are but it's about who you are. Love knows no gender so let's be more open to topic like this. We can't deny that relationship or love between opposite sex is not the only thing that exist right now. We people who found the love and respect to our same sex partner are living happily, contented and full of love.

I hope that a lot of people watch this. I think that this video clears up all the common misconceptions about those who are part of LGBTQIA+ . A lot of my cousins came out of the closet but some of my relatives still made some rude comments about their relationships even though family is the first one who you would want to be accepted and understood first. To be honest, I am still confused on what my preference is because I've never been in a relationship but a part of me knows that I'm scared of entering one because I'm scared to be judged. I agree. Sobrang hirap maghanap ng makakadate esp yung hindi sex agad ang habol. At may mga unrealistic beauty standards sa LGBT community. If you’re gay, you’re expected to look as perfect as possible, career, physique, connections and money. That’s why I’ve already told myself that a serious romantic relationship is not for me, I’m too unattractive for it.
