So happy y'all were able to have this done, Jason. Thanks for sharing this operation with us. That is literally an awesome machine. You will be years ahead with your ultimate plans now. Have a Blessed day.
I also hired a mulcher but the man that came had an excavator with a mulch head. I think I like the bobcat mulched better! Way to go! You all are always doing wonderful things!!
As an estate owner....i wouldn't lie, this was so satifying to watch. I'd be like a child if i were there in person....i could watch that whole damn day
MAYBE ITS JUST ME BUT ....I ENJOYED THE FIRST GUY A LITTLE BETTER BECAUSE HE SEEMED TO BREEZE THROUGH A LOT EASIER AND HE HANDLED THE BRUSH AND TRESS SMOOTHER..BUT THIS GUY IS GOOD .. GREAT JOB FOR HIS HARD WORK 😃
Just and FYI about Braford Pears, even though you have cut it down, the roots will send out runners that will create a thorny bush. I have been fighting this for six years now.......
My neighbor called me two nights ago asking if I needed any work from a mulched he’s hiring. I was unfamiliar with their capabilities until I saw your video. Thank! I’m going to put him to work!
I love this forestry mulcher and it’s quite a sight to see even though this is the second video of it I wish you do a third video just so we can watch it again LOL
For fence line cleanup we use a big dozer. We also get permission from the neighbor land owner to push about 15 feet on their side of the fence so that annual rotary mowing maintains the fence line.
Just rented a mini excavator to dig for tile to drain my land, get rid of the standing water. Had some trees that are about 6 inches round used the mini to push the tree right out of the ground. If your trees start to regrow you'll want to dig up the stumps. Put some clover in the bare spot perennial.
I'm female, over 70, and have no land but get me one of those mulcher things and I'll work for free!!......oh yes I'll even work a chipper as well. Looks sooo much fun.
Excellent!!! We need to call our guy back out to clear our back dirt road again. We didn't maintain it because we were taking care of my parent when they were sick in Texas. Having someone clear, and chipped the trees, and under brush saves on your back, time, money, and your land from wild fires....it's well worth the money.
Man I wish there was a person in our area that had this machine so I could hire him . . . even here in the city, I have 3 tree stumps that I can't remove . . . your doing great work, opening up your land. Great video, cheers.
ok, is no one going to say it " look at that grass growing " the mulching will help along with the chicken tractors ! your property is looking really good. so much better than a year ago. how are the chicks on the hill ? when are we going to see some garden footage?
Good morning Sow the land family, love seeing you build your homestead, brings me lots of excitement and joy for you. May God continue His hands on you all!
This is what we do for a living, day in and day out. It’s as satisfying to operate these machines, as you’d think. On a side note, if you need mulching around Albany NY feel free to reach out.
So you know watching that muncher is my favourite thing.. plus I love using the power washer as well. Those piglets have grown so much. They are very cute. I’m so glad I’m not a mummy pig. 😅
The property look great!🙌🏻 my mom and I live in a development and they have Bradford pears planted everywhere. Two big ones right out front of our house. My mom loves them and I’ve tried to explain to her about the issue’s having them. She won’t cut them down. The smell in spring and the mess from their berries is awful.
We’ve asked a NRCS rep, state Wildlife Biologists and state Forester to come out to help us assess our property and get this property in a position that best matches our goals while still keeping everything as native as possible. We are going to hire a forestry mulched to assist. Thanks a ton for the video. Our place looks very similar to yours; 10 acres with a creek running through it. Even the moss on the limestone rocks look the same 😁
When we cleared the back corner of our property line, we found 5 rows of fence in a 20x 100 ft section. I guess every time they couldn't see the fence, they put up a new section. It was such a mess to get out of the trees and bushes. We got wires stuck in the chainsaw a few times and the stump grinder.
You did it just at the right time: you've spent enough time to know the configuration of your land, water flow, give yourself time to get ideas what to do .
💚 Wow, that is quite a piece of machinery, seems well worth the investment! That really opens things up. Love seeing Elvira and her beautiful piglets and Zeke.💚
This is so interesting, and it is great to have a tool that saves so much back breaking work. It looks like you just added several more acres to the land you had before. Nice work.
When trees are in a field or open space, I push them over with bucket and drag them to the wooded area. Then I mulch them there = no damage to fields and more of the stump/roots are gone.
There should be a grown-up theme park where we could go out with a chipper like that and clear land. That looks like a lot of fun.
They are making a DigN Zone theme park in TN.
I'm an old gal and I feel the same way! That would be awesome!!

That mulcher is awesome to watch. I was surprised it could take down that big tree. The pasture will look great when the grass comes back.
Now that’s how to clear the land! What a machine!
The piggies are growing so fast! I would pay to use that mulcher!
That machine is simply AWESOME 👌
OMG!!! The forestry mulcher is the way to go. You are now years ahead on your farm. Great planning!! 🤗👏👏👏
the satisfaction of watching those tree's go down are amazing hugssss
The right equipment for the job makes a lot of progress!!!
As an estate owner....i wouldn't lie, this was so satifying to watch. I'd be like a child if i were there in person....i could watch that whole damn day
Your property is beautiful and y’all have done so much with it
This machine is very impressive!! Can't stop watching!!!
MAYBE ITS JUST ME BUT ....I ENJOYED THE FIRST GUY A LITTLE BETTER BECAUSE HE SEEMED TO BREEZE THROUGH A LOT EASIER AND HE HANDLED THE BRUSH AND TRESS SMOOTHER..BUT THIS GUY IS GOOD .. GREAT JOB FOR HIS HARD WORK 😃
Hubby wants to do this to our property, I've been reluctant. Glad you shared. I'm now on board.
Your homestead is a piece of paradise. It’s beautiful
Very gratifying to see the bradford pears take it up the trunk!😂 Leaves a good ground for some good grass and forage seeds, clover etc.
That forestry mulcher sure does make that clearing job so much easier.
Worth it's weight in gold that mulcher. Great work, much more to work with now!
An amazing piece of equipment, Jason. What a difference this will make for you.
What a fantastic piece of equipment given the plan! Congratulations on your plan!
Just and FYI about Braford Pears, even though you have cut it down, the roots will send out runners that will create a thorny bush. I have been fighting this for six years now.......
Smart waiting a bit between the two clearings. Congrats on finding an even better guy. First one was pretty good to, but this one a real pro.
That machine is crazy fast! Farm is looking awesome❤ pigs may eventually like to be amongst the tree areas. Cool and they will root it up.
That was just fun to watch!! I gotta get me one. Even though I don't have property to clear. I'll find some 🤙🤙😬🤙
My neighbor called me two nights ago asking if I needed any work from a mulched he’s hiring. I was unfamiliar with their capabilities until I saw your video. Thank! I’m going to put him to work!
Have you considered planting some hardwoods as your retirement fund? I'm sure NC has consultants in their forestry dept.
I love this forestry mulcher and it’s quite a sight to see even though this is the second video of it I wish you do a third video just so we can watch it again LOL
Can't wait to watch you build a monster chicken tractor with those free wheels you found.
I love that machine!
It is so satisfying watching him clear that land
Amazing job and seeing how it works so fast watching the pigs running around getting excited 😂 take care Pete cape town south Africa love you all
yall have a beautiful place. Love your videos wish we had more but it is alot of work . God Bless
I do the HAPPY DANCE🕺 💃 when you take out the privet hedge.
The farm is looking so good ^.^
If you ever have a chance to use the persimmon to smoke with you should use it, it makes an amazing smoke flavor on pork.
really enjoyed the clearing of the land to produce better food.

Making great improvements

I love the mulcher for putting nutrients back into the soil. That should help the packed down soil.
looking good lost of work hope all ok
Just so cool never knew this equipment Ever existed so cool thanks for sharing your life with us. Many blessings from North Texas.❤
That was fun to watch.
Hi..... Jason and Lorraine nice to see you love watching your videos homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐣🐥🐕🐄🐖🌱🌺🌹🌻🌼🌸🌷🏡🎥👍👍👍
Elvira and the kids are great to see.
🎉🎉🎉...this version of "it takes" a village is awesome.

Forestry mulching is the best. We see a big difference in our land. I will do a video soon on it. Everything looks good y’all. Thanks for sharing
Good morning Sow the land family, love seeing you build your homestead, brings me lots of excitement and joy for you. May God continue His hands on you all!
Glad you got the pasture cleaned up. Will be such a better pasture for you.
The little hams are getting so big.🐖🐖
Boy, that forestry mulcher sure is a time saver! What a relief it must be to now be able to maintain it instead of trying to clear it by hand!
Wow that mulcher was def in beast mode! Very cool to watch!
Such an impressive machine! I've never seen anything like it! Everything is looking great! Hope you all are doing well 🙏🏻🦋💝💐🌄

Great way to get ahead Jason. Well done.
I want one.
Respect from Africa 🇿🇦
Really looking good. Your land is starting to really open up. Blessings🙂

Man oh man !!! That machine is a beast !!!😯 wow it took those trees 🌲🌳down like they were nothing.👍👍👍

Place is looking GREAT! Very nice job with the mulcher 👍

Jason I'm so glad that you were able to get this done the easy way instead of you taking months to do it. Also you have the friendliest pigs.❤❤❤❤
I feel like this freed up years of work for you!
Loved the relaxing music included at about 9:00
My uncle has a forestry mower in NW Georgia and it's always a blast to go on a jobsite with him when he's using it.
Put some stump killer on those Bradford Pear stumps. they will keep growing back if you dont.
Cedar trees make great fence posts in our area. You might consider saving those to cut down with the chainsaw!
This is still so deeply satisfying! LOL So much so!

Those FECONs are amazing. They get the job done quick.
I want to be a forestry mulcher driver when I grow up!!
That’s amazing I didn’t even know a machine could do that! So cool thank you
💚 Wow, that is quite a piece of machinery, seems well worth the investment! That really opens things up. Love seeing Elvira and her beautiful piglets and Zeke.💚
MONEY WELL SPENT JASON..... LOOKS GREAT!
Looks more brighter and bigger now you can see all the green grass from corner to corner .
Thank you for this video I just hired someone to come out and clear fencelines and get rid of the Callery/Bradford pear trees
That is amazing how it eats up those trees
Indeed, it’s satisfying to watch it all mulch 😊
Wow❣️
That machine really works wonders❣️
You have made such a huge leap in 12 hours of hiring that very worthwhile help👏👍
Love the mulcher. Will def be using that for future land clearing
This is so interesting, and it is great to have a tool that saves so much back breaking work.
It looks like you just added several more acres to the land you had before. Nice work.
In the right hands that machine is extremely amazing, it works wonders...
loved mum's hat
That thing is like a demented cartoon character. Certainly makes short work of clearing. Come on the high tunnels. 👍
You should graft the bradford pear with disease resistant pear varieties. They make an amazing rootstock
Fascinating! Never seen anything like that before, what an amazing piece of machinery
That's a beast of a machine! I am glad you guys were choosy about the trees you took out! ,🤗🤗❤️
When trees are in a field or open space, I push them over with bucket and drag them to the wooded area. Then I mulch them there = no damage to fields and more of the stump/roots are gone.
That is one amazing machine. Whatever you are paying, is well worth it! You get to reap the benefits!
Love that machine! What a time saver!
You have really good kune kune pigs. Your land is beautiful
That mulcher is amazing 👍. I never even knew there was such a machine out there😄
