Well there’s three types of things a story can do: talking, fighting, or showing. None of them are inherently bad, though, many works of fiction are almost exclusively talking.
The movie Seven was an inspiration for the loki series and it was very dialogue heavy. People compare the last episode of loki to the engineer scene in matrix, but I think it's more similar to the climax of seven. Both are exposition dumps with a lot of dialogue. But there's a charismatic performance by the villain that ends in a moral quandary over killing the villain.
Sylvie realised that Renslayer was lying abt the void spacecraft was because when sylvie asked miss minutes to get the files abt this spacecraft she didnt give it to her.
Yeah, also if you remember, Renslayer started explaining about the pruning but later it was Miss Minutes who interrupts and says about the void spacecraft and Renslayer in a weird tone says Yes, which Sylvie caught on to.

So we can assume the time travels in endgame suppose to happend and Loki also was suppose to get caught by the tva so he would be at the end of time with sylvie.

Telekenisis power, we can see a little of that on Thors 2, and then Later He revive memories in Valkyries mind in Thor Ragnarok, so the powers were there just not exploid.
tbh, my problem with the powers was that in the comics/mythology the character could always do that, it's just that the writers never bothered to explore it in the movies before and it feels like they are just giving him all these abilities out of nowhere
Yeah the telekinetic thing was done in a Thor the dark world, when he was pissed about Freya's death. He could go in people mind in thor Ragnarok he did to Valkiry. He could've done that before but it wasn't in the focus
For people who enjoy a well-constructed plot and character development, Phase Four has been impossible to enjoy--I think Ryan George falls into that camp.

Raveena told her about the pruning but Miss Minutes came up with the time machine thing... so it might have been the source of the information and the time it took to find the file that clued Sylvie in that it was a lie. Also, Sylvie alone couldn't have enchanted the smoke monster. She and Loki together managed because they are much stronger together (nexus being?) and even then it took a third Loki for a massive diversion. So even if people with similar powers ever got there, they needed more people to succeed... but normal people usually die before they manage to make some serious plans. Only Lokis tend to make it long enough because they are survivors (and Lokis don't work together so they are doomed).
Loki definitely got a power buff in this series, but it's not the first time we've seen him use those powers tbh - he used telekinesis in Thor: The Dark World after learning of Frigga's death, & he looked in Valkyrie's mind in Thor: Ragnorak to see Hela killing her sisters/ the other Valkyries.
Yeah, but the problem is not so much that he has become more powerful, but that he never uses these new powers except when the plot wants him to. He can use his telekinesis to lift a crumbling building but doesn't use it during any of the later fights ? Why ?
Wasn’t Loki only the villain in The Avengers because the power from the teseract was messing with his mind? I did find the finale really too expository and underwhelming. The most surprising part of it was Miss Minutes. But that does play into the simple mistake of announcing the point of the phase before seeing it play out. I just wish Loki had more impact in the end. However, I do realize that probably stems from Tom Hiddleston’s humility. And I am sure Loki and Mobius will have a good storyline in season 2.

The show actually does explain that pruning sends things to the Void because of conservation-of-mass limitations. And they don't just shoot people because then they'd still need to get rid of the variants' remains somehow in order for the timeline to heal itself.
The reason for pruning and not killing is that...u r forgetting that whole realities can be pruned not juts individuals...and they explained that matter from these realities cany just be destroyed like that with minimal energy (which is a physics principle loosely speaking)...hence Alioth...the creature who feasts on matter and energy
You see there can only ever be allowed a single timeline. Any branches from the one single allowable timeline must be clipped, which is how a 10 year old girl version of Loki can make a right or wrong decision or a crocodile version of Loki can eat the wrong cat. Because apparently things that aren't supposed to exist to begin with can make correct choices decades or even epochs into their forbidden existence.
Revisiting it after season two now we know the reason why the timeline branched when they held hands is because they were always meant to get away so once they genuinely accepted their fates of dying it drastically threw off the plan, which made them findable
What truly changed Loky was his mother's death, THAT was his turning point. He really cared for Frigga. So, whe he sees her death bc of him that(even if a little rushed) is what really makes a difference in him
The older an Asgardia gets, the more and more powerful they become. So either of them continuing to discover new powers inside themselves as they continued to evolve and age isn't so nuts or "convenient." In the comic series, The Infinity Guauntlet, there is a fight scene where the characters are all trying to take on Thanos and Thanos uses the Time Gem to age all those facing him. When he does it to Thor, as he ages him thousands of years more than he already is, Thor just got stronger and stronger. That is another reason why Odin was so powerful--I hope everyone noticed that Thanos had to wait for Odin to die before he went to war to gain the gems. Anytime Thanos went up against Odin in the comics, Odin handed his ass to him.
So a thing that was odd that everyone made about Sylvia and Loki’s love was that they might have confused it with genetic laws. Even the show got it wrong. The thing is that Loki and Sylvia are quite different. Not just personality wise but also genetics. For example, if you made a clone of yourself and fell in love that would be weird Bc the clone had your exact DNA making you related. But Sylvia and Loki don’t have the same DNA. They’re spliced versions of different outcomes, situations, genes, and personalities. Bc of all those factors they aren’t the same person. They can just go by the same name. Bc if we go by the shows logic and what everyone complained about, that means Gator Loki is related to Variant Loki. Which he isn’t.
It's been confirmed that Loki was so much more evil in Avengers because the scepter was affecting him big-time. Even in Thor before he really ever started changing he was mainly just a trickster that wanted the attention of his dad and to be loved.
That would make sense to be honest. Because when Mobius was showing Loki what he has done, he did look uncomfortable watching himself commit "some" of these malicious acts.
To be honest I don't really like that explanation. I think it would have made more sense that when thanos finds loki at the end of the first thor movie, loki is in a much more vulnerable mental state, havng been rejected by odin. This would have allowed thanos to manipulate loki into setting off the events of the first avengers movie.
@@metallicnole4514 why not be a bit of both? Thanos could manipulate his broken state of mind, and then the scepter could come in and influence him and make him feel not so broken?
He wanted to eradicate an entire race of beings (Jotunheim) in Thor 1 so I don't think mischievous is quite correct. He was always willing to do horrible things to accomplish his goals, understandable though his motivations were, so the contrast between the movies and the show is still stark (pardon the pun).
The extra step exists because law of conservation of mass that's a real physical law you can't destroy mass like that, even if you disintegrate the particles remain and so does the branch, therefore you have to shift it, the fact that everyone jumped immediately jumped to yeah that's just the show being a show just goes to show how easily we take a chance to dump on something, I know someone is going to say not everyone can know science on their finger tips, well 1 ravonna literally mentioned this law she said we can't destroy all the matter, so the reason there is an extra step is becuase that's they can't do it without that and 2 the show isn't responsible for our lack of scientific knowledge either especially when it's one of the most basic laws of science, so basic that it's taught in primary school and literally mentioned at every turn and corner, and I actually that the timelines are being shifted instead of cut off which really goes to show that tva is an unnatural external force and not like some really supreme righteous organization. Kinda like a real world dictatorship would be.(void=concentration camps) I'll leave it there
Then why tf are they called reset charges If they dont reset sh*t? Or If they do reset stuff, then removing mass from the timeline just prevents it from being reset back to the way of the sacred timeline.
7:20 And... Loki was under the influence of the Mind-Stone in the first Avengers movie. Hulk probably knocked that manipulated brain stuff right out of him, "Puny god."
@@rohanmondkar9467 And it also manipulates the Avengers just by their being in proximity to it. There was a whole scene about that. Remember? Loki was with it for much longer. Figuring this out was super easy. Barely an inconvenience
I didn’t find the “he watched a movie” character change to be offensive. I thought it was a good way to get from the Loki from Avengers to the one we knew later.

The finale for wandavision and Loki sync up actually. When he who remains says they crossed the threshold, Wanda gave in to her darker powers against agnes. So after endgame. Remember time passes differently in the tva.
Just to be clear Tony whenever he's fiddling with the arc reactor Evans transformation Hemsworth Ragnarok and Thor 1 Renner then boseman in the water fight and waking up scene Tom scene with ned in homecoming and mj in ffh yeah pretty much
They prune people to despise of the bodies. They also prune inanimate objects that don't belong. I think they don't kill them first so it is easier for the TVA agents to do it to innocent people.
When Ryan said "He watched a video" I feel that is over simplification for comedy. Because it was not just any video, it was Loki's whole life. And when someone sees his mistakes, consequences, etc. And how his life is totally different from what he expected, it will surely change them quite a bit. The episode's name "Glorious Purpose" fits perfectly.
I don't agree that you needed more time to deal with new loki. If I knew that the path I was on was going to leave me to die and push everyone I loved away from me I'd probably change up quite quickly. I don't think his behavior was completely unreasonable
The problems with his new powers are 1: The come completely out of know where and he doesn’t even seem surprised 2: He never developed any of the powers through his phase 2 and 3 years.
There would have been other people with same powers. It's just that none of them thought about enchanting alioth because none of them knew that there is someone hiding behind it.
I don't agree about Loki "discovering" new powers he may have because, like Thor, Loki is thousands of years old. I am pretty sure he is aware of everything he can and cannot do.

Love this bit 2:16
It completely turned into the Sylvie show with Loki as a side character in his own show. Much like they did with Hawkeye
Falling in love with another version of yourself is narcissism at its finest
U have to react to furious 7 pitch meeting..... Ryan absolutely destroyed that movie....
Lol, I bet no one noticed Jaby cut achara 's point of view on crocodile in the end of the video 😂😂
Wow, you got a Unagi Ross tee, cool!
Loki is a chaotic character, changing his mind is kind of his thing
You see there can only ever be allowed a single timeline. Any branches from the one single allowable timeline must be clipped, which is how a 10 year old girl version of Loki can make a right or wrong decision or a crocodile version of Loki can eat the wrong cat. Because apparently things that aren't supposed to exist to begin with can make correct choices decades or even epochs into their forbidden existence.
Revisiting it after season two now we know the reason why the timeline branched when they held hands is because they were always meant to get away so once they genuinely accepted their fates of dying it drastically threw off the plan, which made them findable
So He Who Remains must have helped them with it because That's stupid
Renslayer said where she's going. "Only the leader has freewill and she's looking for freewill."
Jaby react to Pro Tips by Pitch Meetings as well from Screen Rant... Those are bonkers as well!!
What truly changed Loky was his mother's death, THAT was his turning point. He really cared for Frigga. So, whe he sees her death bc of him that(even if a little rushed) is what really makes a difference in him
2:30 I KNEW THAT WOW LIKE OWEN WAS COMING LMFAOOO IM CRYING😭😭
They still came from the same parents So I dont think this argument fully saves this💀
It's been confirmed that Loki was so much more evil in Avengers because the scepter was affecting him big-time.
In the cage where loki was captured in avengers,he used his telekinetic powers to move things around.....he has the power
But they pruned so many people but why there were only lokis at the end if time place.
You s.o.b I gotta rewatch Mr. Nice guy now
Achara is awesome. And Ryan George is hilarious.
Badhiya Video
7:20 And... Loki was under the influence of the Mind-Stone in the first Avengers movie. Hulk probably knocked that manipulated brain stuff right out of him, "Puny god."
No he wasn’t. Loki was the one using the mind stone on others. Are we making our own fan fiction MCU now? Cause if we are, that is TIGHT!
@@rohanmondkar9467 And it also manipulates the Avengers just by their being in proximity to it. There was a whole scene about that. Remember? Loki was with it for much longer. Figuring this out was super easy. Barely an inconvenience
@@1monkidamm. So the mind Stone turned the genocidal maniac into a conceuring maniac
I didn’t find the “he watched a movie” character change to be offensive. I thought it was a good way to get from the Loki from Avengers to the one we knew later.
Good way? They changed the personality of a 5000 years old been by showing him a video
@@pamoweiberezi5315 Tom Hiddleston's Loki? The character that they have been setting up for 10 years. The character who played this scene in Avengers? th-cam.com/video/f7cjpeRuNQc/w-d-xo.html? That is a character that may be evil, but has the capacity for good. To me it makes sense that seeing the potential for good he found on the prime timeline could change his life. Not that he's completely and totally changed, but that he can be better. I thought it was really cool.
@@HitcherWitcher11 may be evil? He killed 80 people in 3 days and orchestrated a planetary takeover that resulted in a genocide.
They basically retconned his character
@@pamoweiberezi5315 that’s a fair way to see it. I see it differently and think they laid seeds for that change from the start.
@@pamoweiberezi5315 well he had severe inferiority complex issues, like he told he always felt lesser and weaker than thor so he killed people and did bad things pretending to like it.
And it was broken when he got to know he got killed his mother cuz of this and that his dad and brother loved him.... So yeah it's a strong point to change his character
Imagine the uproar if the robot undressed some woman against her will instead
Loki's time branches is not the multiverse. It is separate from the multiverse concept of Doctor Strange.
Try to throw the old 'Home, by Davis' in one of the videos. Really miss those songs in your intros
Loki admitted that his actions are an illusion to make people afraid of him, that he doesn't like hurting people.
But shouldn't the time branches be before "infinity war" cause loke was taken in the first Avenger movies??
The finale for wandavision and Loki sync up actually. When he who remains says they crossed the threshold, Wanda gave in to her darker powers against agnes. So after endgame. Remember time passes differently in the tva.
Just to be clear Tony whenever he's fiddling with the arc reactor Evans transformation
Hemsworth Ragnarok and Thor 1 Renner then boseman in the water fight and waking up scene Tom scene with ned in homecoming and mj in ffh yeah pretty much
I could imagine this show with Deadpool as the main character
We never saw Tony Stark shirtless, only his biceps when wearing a tank top
React to the Deadpool 1 and 2 Pitch meetings. They are TIGHT!!!
4.54 the show is called LOKI and sylvie is a loki varient soo
Guys because it was what was supposed to happen by He Who Remains
This was a good show it just suffered frim being made during Covid which caused some changes in the finished product
Yay!
They prune people to despise of the bodies. They also prune inanimate objects that don't belong. I think they don't kill them first so it is easier for the TVA agents to do it to innocent people.
9:33 well she fell from sky .....mobius would have seen that
5:03 I didn't feel like Sylvie took over the show, either.
When Ryan said "He watched a video"
I feel that is over simplification for comedy.
But he has move things with his mind before. In his holding cell in the second Thor movie.
It's the "Unagi" shirt on Jaby for me
The problems with his new powers are
1: The come completely out of know where and he doesn’t even seem surprised
2: He never developed any of the powers through his phase 2 and 3 years.
We have seen Iron Man shirtless...When peper was was cutting wire from his heart. I guess that counts
Blew my mind. Has nobody ever existed in the history of time, who was pruned and could enchant Alioth before Sylvie?
There would have been other people with same powers. It's just that none of them thought about enchanting alioth because none of them knew that there is someone hiding behind it.
Also the alligator…. I thought we’re dn😂
I don't agree about Loki "discovering" new powers he may have because, like Thor, Loki is thousands of years old. I am pretty sure he is aware of everything he can and cannot do.
There's a theory that loki's moral ambiguity is because of the staff. Thanos may have used the stone to control his psyche.
Nah
11:46 doctor strange 2 was supposed to come before loki previoisly though.....
