Best to use the true trac mode for mowing, easy do 10-15kph mowing with trips it’s just getting confidence with the different transmission modes/ranges and getting out of using auto for everything.

The 4000 series should had the 7.4 litre engine as well, and cranking atleast 250/260 hp :) But a very nice machine, would like one of those with some real wide tires on it :)

Fantastic looking outfit I drove a JCB Fastrac in the UK for a few months in 2009 at sugar beet with a 22 foot Trailer some machine to keep a 6 row Harvester going
I had a 4220 and loved it,the dealer here in NZ are robbers so i traded it for a Fendt 930 gen 6. I used to set headland mgmt so that the tractor would switch out of 4 wheel steer on the main runs. It's easy to put a kink in the swath otherwise. Mine had 710s all round and was a minter.
Great video Phil she seems underpowered for the triple mowers the 99 seems to fly with them a nice tractor all the same some comfort in them and the sisu engines are bulletproof
Fastrac didn't seem to be on top of the job compared to the 99, maybe a tougher crop. Mowers look like they would be a good investment when the time is right.

How u farmer phil.u won't be long bating down the road now with the fast track.some bit of kit in fairness.there wouldn't be as much switches and buttons on a 747 aeroplane.it will be no bother to u.i have a feeling ur not too gone on it.id say the kubota is better.take her handy and mind yerselves.

They look like they should be on a construction site and the JCB branding makes it that much more so to my 43yr old brain having grown up on a farm... That said, if it was shaped more traditionally they would look just like Challengers so I guess they're at least setting themselves apart. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting them down, to each their own but they just aren't for me... Awesome video though! Thanks for sharing and best wishes to you all!

Lovely carting and hauling tractors but always found them lacking in groundwork and grasswork,mowing,plowing harrowing etc

Yes a simple plastic air fitting let us down, a 5 minute fix, but not easy to grab one late in the evening. The joys of motoring.
