Oooh, bonus video, and it's Spidey, just in time for me...😂 I grew up with the 70's TV Spiderman. I cried when he broke his scanner /tracker type thing. Lovely paint job. Nice sculpt. Loving the Eddie T-shirt too 🌚👍🏻🕸️
I must admit, I've never gotten the Spiderman fan bug, but have painted so many of the figure from Crisis Protocols sets for other people, that I see the fandom is growing all the time :-) I converted one figure early on for a customer, using car body mesh to make the under-arm "webs" that Spiderman has in the comics, and ever since, everyone has come to me with their figures asking me to do the same for their figures, too. I'm just hoping they'll release a Spiderman 2099 mini, as he is the only Spiderman variant that really caught my attention when it came out. LOVE how you paint your minis, as these videos always inspire me to try new ideas, and your speed-paint tutorials have helped me immensely, as I'm not a fan of these paints, but some customers of my painting service love them, so the more I learn how to improve my painting with them, the better :-D I do actually like the minis for Spiderman in the game, as they're dynamic in pose, and fun to paint, and would personally love to see the Inhumans expanded, and possibly some Morlocks to ally with Storm from the X-Men (Anyone else remember these characters?), along with Mole Man and some of his minions to fight Spiderman, too. Oh, and Rich Ryder as Nova along with Diamondhead (One of his early adversaries, who was left out of the Marvel Universe character book, for some reason), and the CB Radio obsessed character he fought way back in the early days (Can't remember his name, but he was dressed like a buffalo/bison, and CB radio was al the rage in those days). Please keep making your awesome videos, as they're fun to watch and also give people ideas for using paints like the metallic ones your wife bought you, too. Lucky man, to have a wife who shares your hobby interest :-)
Firstly! My wife says thank you! And secondly I say thank you for all of your support and kind words. These videos are a good bit of fun for me to make it really means something to me when people actively enjoy them. THANK YOU! I hadn't thought if the under arm webbing, what a great idea. Also, yeah I would love to get the morlocks, and am pretty surprised they haven't expanded on the inhumans much. They have all the spiderman villains coming out, but still no Scorpion, who I really want. Also still no Apocalypse!! Hopefully all this is coming at some point. Thank you again.
@@BlastercadedPainting Just had a breakthrough idea last night :-) Instead of using car body mesh for the under-arm webbing, I tried some scrap needlework material, which is much easier to cut and shape, doesn't leave me screaming in frustration when trying to shape it to fit, and once glued in place (Use gel based super glue, but be patient, as it can take some time to soak into the material and dry properly), and left to dry for a couple of hours, make a wash of wood glue and water, and gently brush it onto the material, then leave overnight. This helps stiffen the material in shape, and also much easier to later prime/paint. After 50 years in this hobby, I'm still learning, and loving every moment of it :-D Love to you and your wonderful wife, and both of you keep up the awesome work your teamwork brings to your channel :-D
😂 great vocals at the end
Simple Plan did the opening song for what's new Scooby-Doo so I feel you on how weird it is that Aerosmith did Spiderman
It's really odd lol

My wife has just a Teen Wolf shirt. None of that for me, and certainly no Bateman wolf for me.

Great tutorial! just one critique, Spider-Man's back spider is actually red. Otherwise no notes ;)
Thanks so much! You know what, I actually knew that at one point and completely forgot it. Thanks for the heads up!
Why in red part do you use xpress medium with wash and didnt use on blue?
The red, for whatever reason, was more blotchy. Could just be the bottle I have, but thinning it also just helps its settle into only the recess.
