I watched your video the other week about the z-axis and forgot to subscribe to your channel, then I forgot what channel it was until just now when I stumbled across this. I have now subscribed :)
Thanks for the video. I bought an external battery extender for Dji Osmo but not working when I turn Osmo 5 seconds after it turns off flashes a red LED for favfor how can I fix this?
A Solid Red light normal me two things one firmware upgrade failed or Camera is not mounted on the OSMO properly , so take the camera off and then put it back on and make sure it lines up, try these otherwise you may have to get in touch with DJI.
same thing happens to me i turn off the cam then i hold down the power and photo button at the same time for a few seconds then it powers up as normal BUT some times you may have to repeat it
Jacks Drones hi jack thanks for getting back been on dpi forum and been told that the p3 batt connectors to the osmo is for power only no connection for batt info which is quit obvious really when you think about it so it keep a watch on the batt led’s
Hi Great Vid.. what is the output voltage of the power adaptor you are using. I want to use one of the extenders and connect to a lipo battery (Not DJI) I have a portable power pack that can output 9 and 12v as I want to be able to run a long time-lapse without a mains socket. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks
Just the information I was looking for! I wanted a car power for the DJI Osmo as I'm shooting video while driving. Battery option would be great on the run and extended life. Also nice music/songs for the intro and outro
Hi, Many thanks for your informative tutorial videos. Can you please explain how can I link between 2 mobiles (for example I have 2 iphones with DJI GO installed) + the DJI osmo, as I couldn't get clearly your point. Thanks in advance.
Hi. I would like to get an extender but I haven't got any other DJI kit. I have got many old power bricks from other products. Do you know the spec (numbers) I need to look for on the back of the power brick to see if its compatible. Or can I just try them and if they work all is good and I won't do any damage
+8itman this only allow you to connect direct with the Power Pack or if you buy the two leads it only allow you to connect with a Inspire 1 battery or Phantom 3/4 battery but no USB cable yet, DJI may make one soon.
Great Video! Thanks for posting. I purchased the extender but don't have an inspire battery. How can I connect it to AC power? Or is that even possible?
nice review Q: on this point is there any way to extend my wifi signal on my osmo more than 82ft? or is there any wifi booster i can you to extend the wifi signal? thank you
TOOLKIT 1031 that an interesting question , as it standard wifi like a computer then you could but weather it work would or not, it one you have to try...I may try this my self :)
Hi Jacks what a great little video. Can you please help me? I am looking for the "Dji OSMO External Battery Extender (part 39) just like the one in the video. I have tried everywhere to get hold of one - all the major stockists and camera shops eg, Dji / Amazon / eBay with no success. Do you happen to know where I can get one or does anyone reading this comment know were I can obtain one please? - Alternatively, if anyone has one and is not using it any longer I would be happy to give you a good price for it. I am doing a wedding for a friend and need a lot of battery time. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
hi jack i have spoke to you b4 can you pls help me with a problem just got a phantom 3 batt for my osmo all working fine but went into app settings -----to the about and battery info -- it is not saying battery info for the p3 battery i am 2 bars down on the battery leds and the app is still saying 100% is it the app or have i got the settings wrong in some way thank you love the channel thanks jeff
yes that is correct as i get the same when using my OSMO with the Phantom 4 Battery should 100% and no info, if you need to know battery level you have to look at the Battery Lights which show level of battery left, maybe on the next firmware upgrade it include the battery for the OSMO kits etc
hi jack little bit of confusion there we already spoke about the p3 batt got a message from you asking weather i got in touch with dji i replied to you think the message you sent was for some else
Thankz for this vid,, i read you have to buy an extra cable to get power from the inspire battery, can you point to wich one i need to buy. Many thanks and yes i did subscribed. Greetings from the netherlands
Did you order direct from DJI ? , I ordered mine along with the new Z mount from local dealer but not got any of it yet , I dont think the Z mounts are yet being dispatched so that may be why I have not had the other stuff if they are trying to post all my order at once , might ask then to send the battery extender and the extra battery leads so I can use the Phantom and Inspire batts to power the Osmo when out and about , look forward to using this for some nice long time lapse , might buy that app as well sound cool tracking your bird in flight , dont think Litchi has that feature .
+uptowndisco2 I always buy direct from DJI as soon as DJI has it in stock then you local dealer then get stock, but i find you can get it faster buying direct from DJI and you earn credit at the same time too.
working on a new video with all the new and latest apps for the OSMO , have some models helping me out with it so it should be interesting video to watch lol
Thanks for the tips. Got Battery Door Off/On yesterday. ready to go today with my Inspire Cord. Thanks to you I will go get the Autoflight App. Didnt even know about this til I saw your video, thanks, Inspired_Mike
+rOLLieONeS1 the Osmo - Base £7 goo.gl/ViTdPf but if you after the tripod then you need to idea to make the tripod Osmo - Extension Rod £43 goo.gl/kkqK2l and Osmo - Tripod £4 goo.gl/DyXvn4
Hello. Great vid. I love the app you mentioned. Does the osmo extension battery actually hold a charge? Can it charge and be used without being attached to an external battery? Thanks
the external battery is just for power up with Phantom/inspire battery and doesn't hold a charge as it not a battery it self. just a way to connect to power source or other battery for longer filming with.
Hi Jack, Great video, I was looking at the OSMO app information on the DJI website and found that you can also connect it to the latest Apple Ipod Touch 128Gb (approx £329) which is alot cheaper than spending approx £799.00 on the latest Iphone 6splus. 128Gb. I've no idea if you get the same functionality using an Ipod by saving almost £470 on the screen but it would help budgeting for a new user. I'm just waiting for my Osmo kit to arrive from DJI...... The waiting is killing me :D.
You have to be careful as DJI say it work with iPod touch 6 Big BUT here This app is optimized for iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus so have to be careful. Normal DJI very quick sending out stuff unless they out of stock it worth the wait as i about to buy a second one :)
I did think the iPhone would be the better choice. I currently use an Huawei P8LTE as my phone and have considered getting an Apple iPhone SE as most of my budget as gone onto the Osmo and the many extras. Would your advice be to maybe get the 6s plus 128Gb not the SE and stay away from the Android App ?
***** I use the iPhone 6 Plus and also i have the new Samsung S7 Edge phone and they both work really well, i also use a app called Autoframe which require the phones to have GPS so then you can get the OSMO to track you while you moving around and it allow to you do POI too but these app work better with the iPhone as it not available on other phones yet.
Excellent, Thanks. I'd better grab an Apple. My local DJI stockiest did say the Android version is behind the Apple app and I'd be better off using an iPhone as it is more reliable even with some of the issues that it has. Thanks Again. :)
I am providing a link to a program that is pretty much the same as DJI Go, but this works on a PC....NOT FOR MAC. I have tried it out and it works great. You can even connect a joystick and control it with that. cosmostreamer.com/products/dji-go-windows/#home
Where can I find that battery extender today? It isn't being produced anymore... any idea? tnx!

Jacks Drones hi jack thanks for getting back been on dpi forum and been told that the p3 batt connectors to the osmo is for power only no connection for batt info which is quit obvious really when you think about it so it keep a watch on the batt led’s
jeff conibear but would be nice to see this on the app too thou, maybe on a new design they may add this in lol :)

Hi, which exactly model of adapter (220V) you have in your video? What is its voltage? thanks
I didn't know they do existed.
Thanks for the good info mate.
+MOPIC your welcome :)
Can I replace the battery?
Hi,
Many thanks for your informative tutorial videos. Can you please explain how can I link between 2 mobiles (for example I have 2 iphones with DJI GO installed) + the DJI osmo, as I couldn't get clearly your point. Thanks in advance.
+Ahmed Louay just in case anyone else had the same question please visit my Facebook page as i just did a live video to answer this question :)
Thanks, I am the same person who was watching your live video as I first was watching your TH-cam, then like your page, and contacted you, Cheers!
Ahmed Louay are sorry lol :)

best to buy the correct part and not just any old power bricks.
Does anyone know how long the osmo last with the battery extender and a mavic pro battery in time lapse mode?? Like to know thank you
thanks I've just ordered so i can do more time lapse at night
keep in touch as be interested to see how your time-lapse goes :)
Can i connect the Battery Extender with a Powerbank with a DC 12V or 15 or 17V output? Normally i think it must work. or?
+8itman this only allow you to connect direct with the Power Pack or if you buy the two leads it only allow you to connect with a Inspire 1 battery or Phantom 3/4 battery but no USB cable yet, DJI may make one soon.
