    Hi there. I was looking for an alternative to using the Phantom battery and your video was perfect. Now I know I can use a LiPO battery and I bought all the stuff. The battery saved me a fair amount of money as its a lot cheaper than the phantom battery. I could understand you just fine. Keep up the good work and hope to see more hacks to save money with alternatives.

      tintek33 I made 2. One with a phantom battery direct to extender and used cat 6E cables and to the phantom battery. And another to an RC battery. Both work fine. Keep on making more DIY videos.

      tintek33 i have a small problem my dji osmo works only a minute, then it shuts off I am using 12v battery pack As I send the link up there, what do you think it is problem... :(

    • @TinC33
      @TinC33  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Serkan Uysal hm, strange... You must know that 10000mah on that battery mean 10000mah on 3,7v if you stepup to 12v you got aome looses here so on 12v you got about 3000-4000mah, still must be enough to power osmo for about 30 mins...
      There can be some overheating or overcurrent protection, did you check the max current of power bank can give you on 12v port?
      I make a measurment and osmo can consume about 1-2A of current, that can be more than 5a from the 3,7V battery in the power bank.
      I use 3s (about 12v) basic lipo battery without problem.

    • @MovieTrailerTeam
      @MovieTrailerTeam 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      tintek33 hi, please forget about what I said, I found the problem, so there was a bad/ cheap male adapter connections, so i put some aluminum foil inside male connecter the connected into battery pack then it worked well, male adapter was cheap probably... thank you for your comment anyway and your help...

      Ricardo Rodriguez thanks, and NO you can't use power bank, it has 5v on usb output for power the osmo you need 12v so you can use 3s lipo, 3s liion, 10 cell nimh/cd, car battery, power supply, solar panel.... Whatever it just must be 12V about 1,5-2A current.

      You can't use power bank because it's 5v power source. If you use step up circuit it will drain power bank with about 5-6A (this mean more than 10A out of battery in power bank) i think there is not many power bank that can hold that power

    Hi, I made the connection to the external batterry pack, but cut the cable from the battery to the female connector, so far so good, but just like in your video, my voltage is 11.10 V apparently the osmo does not recognize that voltage less than 12V, since some things are activated in the osmo, but does not turn on the green light and the stabilizer does not react, I hear sounds from inside the osmo in apparent activity.
    also try to connect it to DC and it is the same voltage (my external battery is 12V 6800MH)
    Watch for your comments.
