      Normally, it takes 60 minutes to charge the battery. The LED indicator on the charger will be solid green when in standby, and solid red during charging. When charging is complete it will go from red to green. If there is any further issue, please feel free to contact us at www.dji.com/support.

    For what it's worth. I haven't used my Osmo in around 3 years. Plugged in the batter for charging, the green light did not switch to red. Tried doing this around 20 times, plugging and unplugging it from the wall socket, cleaning the pins on both the batter and the charger... nothing happened. Left it in the wall socket for like a couple of hours, just because I forgot it there, and when I came back, I thought of trying one more time, removed the battery and inserted it back in, AND BOOM! Red light on and charging. Now I still don't know it it will fully charge and function normally, but at least now I know something is happening.

      @@lukejohns Although it did fully charge in the end, the battery did indeed go bad. Fully charged would last only about 5 minutes! This was a good experiment as a proof of concept, that an old battery CAN work again, but it doesn’t mean it can go back to its original state. I ended up buying a new battery.

    When it’s charging the light will be red then green then red and green but what will be the light indication when it is fully charged ?

    • @DJISupportGlobal
      @DJISupportGlobal  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When it's charging, the LED should be solid red, once it is fully charged, the LED will turn into solid green.

      Hi Tod, may we know if there is an issue with your battery or charger?

    • @TodMesirow
      @TodMesirow 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've charged two DJI batteries and two aftermarket batteries and nothing happens. even when I try the "hold the record and trigger and then try and turn it on" trick. it's worked well in the past. I've also re-charged the batteries. I've seated and unseated the batteries. it appears there's an issue with the on/off switch. I guess I need to go to the DJI website and arrange for a repair.....I am really a fan of the camera.

      Sorry for the troubles. Could you please help to clarify if it is the issue of the switch on the Osmo, the batteries not being charged or the charger not working? If the batteries can be charged normally, but the Osmo can't be powered on, you may need to check if the battery connection points are all normal. If neither 4 batteries can power on the Osmo, you may need to send it in. Sorry about this.

      @TodMesirow 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      there is not. I bought a multimeter and all the batteries are full power. but the Osmo won't turn on. I've tried the button holding - trigger and record - but that doesn't help. what next?

    • @TodMesirow
      @TodMesirow 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      how do I send it in? do I have to go to tech support on the DJI web site?
