I wish I could give this a thumbs up each time I watch
I know this video is old but thank you very much, recently inherited a 4513tsw version, broke down exactly the same👍
Just found this. Great video and I'm pleased that you didn't take 20 minutes to illustrate a four-minute procedure. :)
Thank you for posting, I just traded my 30-30 for one so this really helped since my neighbor didn't keep his Smith and Wesson cleaned lol
This was my absolutely favorite defensive firearm I carried as a police motorcycle officer in the SF Bay Area in the 1990's. A beautiful and comfortable shooting firearm. Sleek lines and 'peace of mind' as a defensive firearm. Large 230 gr. ammo if ever needed. It was like throwing a lead & copper 'football' coming @ U. I was lucky I never had to use it outside of range training in my 35 yr. career.
Any tips on shooting this? I seem to have accuracy issues. I'm pretty sure it's not the gun LOL.
To check guns sights for dead-on accuracy, shoot it at a range with a 'steady-hand' aiming device. 10 ft, 20 ft. 30 ft. 50 ft . Range personnel can assist U. If sites are off, most gunsmiths/range personnel can assist U in re-aiming them. Use cheap ammo for range training but carry premium loads in it as a CCW. Clean & lightly lube gun & rubbing parts after every shoot. Take good care of it and it will take good care of you.
Thank you so much for your help. This particular pistol always was a little tricky to take apart and put back together.
Very well done field strip and reassembly, thank you!
I love the way you explain, very easy to understand.
Thank you for posting. I just got this gun today, your video helped me to put the guide rod in correctly :-)
Thanks for posting that was exactly what I needed.
Thank you for making it simple and easy to understand - follow, I have the same pistol and she's a a beauty alright and to shoot!
Thank you for a very well done video, you explained the process extremely well. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching, Paul Shanahan and I'm so glad you found it informative. God bless!
Nice job on showing how to do that. That is a real nice looking gun.
My S&W 1006 is a hand cannon. Smith needs to bring back the 3rd Gen pistols back and go with the 4th Gen handgun. Their 1911s are nice as well.
Thanks, Eric. That's what I strive for. :) .
looks a 659 one of my favorites ! ! !
Why did Smith discontinue this series?
Soooooooo much better than a 1911.
Great job nice pistol!
Awesome video! Thank you for putting it together,I just picked up this firearm and see it breaks down pretty easily. Looking forward to some range time,,,,,
It's a fun shooter. You'll love it, John Walton . Thanks for stopping by my channel! God bless!
@@KeepingPiece2010 I'm going to get one I already have the 1006 Smith and wesson 10mm and the 4006 40cal I want the 4506 Smith and wesson 45 too I want the whole Smith and wesson family
Thumbs up! Good and informative video.
great job!
I think you're right about the zoom issue. I'll definitely take care of that on the next one. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching! :)
AWESOME WORKS FOR 4586 ALSO
Nice. Job
Excelente .
great!
good reference pictures
Thank you! I'm glad they helped. I appreciate you watching.
Oh great...another video that leaves me wanting to buy another gun. THANKS A LOT Colleen ;-)
Very nice. How does it shoot?
Thanks for watching, Glockensig. :) I appreciate your encouragement.
Good guide. I would just make one suggestion that you either pull the camera back a bit or zoom out in future vids. It would make seeing everything a bit easier.
Nice video Coleen (not sure how to spell your cool name). The tip right away about using a towel is really smart. I don't mean to criticize but can you zoom out on your next assemble/disassemble vid please ma'am. Thank you so much.
Some of the action took place off camera. The camera should have panned out a little bit. Good video though. Thanks for posting.
A basic break down is a no brianer. How about showing how to remove the firing pin assembly?
LOL, sorry Chuck. :) It shoots great. It's too big for my hand...the reach to the trigger is really too far. But, it does shoot well being so heavy.
Have 4506-1, the 1006 next. Do you think you will add 1006 to your collection?
We've not added anything in 10mm to our collection yet, but we did have our eye on an Ed Brown 1911 chambered in 10mm about 5 years ago. Too bad we didn't grab it when we saw it for a good price. I'm not sure if we'll add the 1006, but we ever come across it at a good price, it would be a great one to pick up. :o)
Great tutorial but consider a reshoot, you go out of frame for important detail, I had to look to another video for that detail.
THANKS FOR YOUR GREAT VIDEO
I HAVE Never SEEN A Young LADY Do A GUN Disassembly.
I'm HARD to Impress, but in your Case I'm Impressed.
Not Disassembly, Field Stripping, other wise great job.
A suggestion. Position the camera so it shows the person's point of view, not the view from the other side of the table.

It was nice but very poor video of it cos u kept going out of video to see
Too bad you glossed over the part where you have to push in the spring loaded pin that’s part of the disassembly pin/slide stop, to push the whole assembly back in. I broke my gun trying to get it back in. Because in your video, it appears like you just pop it right back in without depressing the pin which is a necessary step. Darn it. Maybe don’t post an instructional video if you are going to leave a crucial step out.
