I can attest that your cookbook is the best. I purchased several cookbooks before I discovered your channel. The other books had such complicated recipes that I never made them. Yours is the one I routinely go to for meal ideas. And have added oodles of personal notes & recipes. 😊📒 The oil sprayer is the best one I've ever had...
Love your channel and use so many of your recommendations. To easily turn items in my air fryer I use Latex-Free household gloves. Easy to clean and store in my air fryer. Works great.
I use my airfryer daily. I store my silicone tools in a jar by the dirfryer and in the drawer near my air fryer. I def keep a cutting board right in front of my airfryer. I love cooking in my airfryer. Such a great kitchen tool
I have an "Instant" air fryer that has the double drawers for smaller items and a Cosori Dual Blaze for bigger items. I also have the "Air Fryer Cheat Sheet" and I find myself referring to it all the time. Your videos have really changed my view on air fryers and I use mine every day, multiple times a day. Thank you for all the information, tips and tricks you show us in your videos. I really hate cooking and using my air fryer has changed the way I eat thanks to you.
Thanks for the tip on how to figure out the weight of ingredients. Brilliant!! ❤🎉❤ I agree with the order of all of your picks for products, and although the first few are not need-to-have items, they sure do make cooking easier (especially your cheat sheet). Thanks again Cathy!
#1 for me was the RIGHT type and size of AF!! My first one was a door type, not a drawer. A bazillion attachments I'd never use...rotisserie, etc. The shelves were two mesh air fryer shelves. I hated them. Fast forward to now, after a lot of research, I bought the Cosori turbo. Got it yesterday, cooked dinner and breakfast and dinner today!! It is so easy to clean I don't dread using it!! It feels so good to be excited about cooking!
Hey kiddo! I have everything on your list, thanks to you…you’re my-go-to girl for all my Air Fryer needs! I’ve told you before your cheat sheet is on my Air Fryer for quick reference along with your cookbook…the only thing that I added to my “essential “ list was an heat resistant thick silicone mat that covers my wooden rolling cart which is my Air Fryer base…the mat is 15.7 x 23.6 so it sits under the Air Fryer with space in front of it to put down the hot basket plus when I have washed the basket afterwards, I put a towel down on top of the mat to put the wet basket upside down on it to dry…if I may say, I purchased it on Amazon…as usual thanks, lovie, for all your help!
I have tried several oil spray bottles, but they seem to emit a single stream of oil, not a wide misting spray. Any recommendation on a bottle that actually mists with avocado oil?
Cathy, you seem to be an air fry guru. I’ve got a question: you know how in ovens, in order for some dishes to not get dry or get over cooked on top, you can use silicon lids instead of covering the dish with a foil. What do you think of using the same silicon lids in the air fryer? Thank you in advance!
Bonjour!!! I am writing to you from Paris, France. This coming Friday my virgin airfryer arrives!!! I just watched a few of your videos. "12 AirFryer Mistakes" video was great!!! I am glad I stumbled upon you FIRST!! I just bought my very first AirFryer (Philips Essential brand) from Amazon during Black Friday. Even though I bought it at a very good sale price, I was having second thoughts about not buying a cheaper brand airfryer. After watching your video, I am glad I did not! Love your personality and your family helping with some of the yummy recipes!!! Can't wait to cook this weekend!!! Bon Appétit!!!
Hi Cathy, thanks for the video! I have most, but not all of these accessories. I don't have the bag holders, nor the washcloths. though I use a sponge and a different type of washcloth to clean my air fryer. The tool I am most interested in, which will solve a dilemma for me, is the Soleader plate grippers. Once I get more than one ramekin in the air fryer, I have been at a loss several times, as to how to get them out without getting burned in the process. These plate grippers will be my next accessory purchase. Thank you!! I do have the parchment papers, but what I use more often is silicon mats, that fit into the bottom of the basket. These save some but now all of the mess. I always look forward to your videos. I find them very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks so much for all the links, tips, and recipes! I have clicked the link for the silicone tools, and the product shown doesn't include tongs. Were you aware of that?
Just watching your channel are used by air fryer quite frequently almost every day, and I love your cookbook. Also have an enjoy using your cheat sheets
I just came across your video. Try the thin aluminum trays shaped and sized just like the parchment paper. They won't burn, sturdier, more versatile and you dont have to shape an aluminum tray from a roll. 🙂
I’ve had that bag opener for several years now because I freeze a lot of soups. Very handy. Also, that little rack to hold down food is brilliant. I’ve tried making zucchini chips and they all burned because they flew up to the top of the air fryer. Will definitely be getting one of those, lol!
Mine says to never use foil, so I'm confused. Is it ok to use foil or not?😂 I'm a new subscriber & I'm also new to the air fryer. It's sitting all nice & pretty on the counter waiting to be used. You have many recipes we're going to try. So, thank you in advance. ❤
I use aluminum foil pans rather than parchment paper. They are much more sturdy and reflect heat through the cooking process still holding the juices and crumbs within the pan.
Hey there Empowered Cooks fam! 😊 These air fryer tools are total game-changers! 🔥🙌 I'm eyeing a few to level up my air fryer game. Thanks for always sharing these fantastic tips and recommendations. 🌟 Looking forward to more awesome content! 💫
So very impressive! You really hit the ground running carving out a niche for yourself....kudos to you. Just received an AF at a gift. Happy to find your page. Big thumbs up! Thanks for your efforts.
CUDOS to you🎉🎉🎉 for showing your newest Corsori double burner, top/bottom, I got it after seeing you having it and gave my still “new” 1 burner Corsori to my son and he’s crazy about it👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
I love your cookbook. It’s my favorite. I bought the oil spray bottle and so far, so good👍 (I, too, have tried others). Is the cheat-sheet separate from the cookbook?
I juist ordered the Dual Blaze and am wondering if your cookbook works with that air fryer or do things need to be adjusted for Dual Blaze. Thanks in advance
Are you referring to the new oven style air fryer? I'm not a fan of oven style air fryers at all... not even Cosori. :) They get hot on the outside and tend to emit more heat than a regular oven. And I think food takes a bit longer to cook in them, and I don't like messing with hot pads when taking food out and rotating it.
It's this channel that first began my interest in air fryers and now we use it every day and often several times a day. We prepare food that is not pre-packaged always, which surprises me because before finding this channel I assumed air fryers we only for tator tots etc
I have a question for you about baking muffins, shortcake, or other rolls in an air fryer. I've found after several catastrophes that the tops always burn in or air fryer doing breads like this. So, I'm creating a tin foil "lid" weighted with pieces like nuts & bolts to prevent it from blowing out of position from the air fryer fan. It works. I can air fry muffins for 12 minutes so they golden not burned, and have completely cooked inside not guey. Is there a product on the market to replace my jury-rigged lid?
I have not seen anything, but I get what you are talking about! I've done foil wrapped tightly around the dish in order to prevent tops from burning. You could also maybe drop the temp a bit lower and see if that helps?
Hi Cathy! Have you reviewed the new Cuisineart Basket air fryer? I like the Breville oven style. However, the required cooking times don't match the results. Thank You!
Hi Cathy I'm pretty new to air frying i watch all you're videos, I'm collecting most of the 15 item's but can you send me the make of your oil sprayer I'm in th UK and have tried a few but they leak everywhere 😊😊everywhere
Hiya, love your videos. I was wondering If you thought about creating an air fryer cookbook for those living with Diabetes and wondering if an air fryer would be good to have for a diabetic? 😀😊
Hello! Yes, any recipe you can do in the oven, you can do in the air fryer! For example, would any of these recipes work for a diabetic? th-cam.com/video/s0GzSskVHGo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CjeLUg5RUORk0g1_
Please tell me about the parchment paper (No6) I am new to the air fry and I use it (exactly the same paper) in two ways . At first I always use it at the very bottom under the grill grate because it is easy to clean the very bottom … when I make meat or meatballs I just put them in the grill grate and all the grease comes down to the parchment paper which is super ease to throw away after cooking my food and also very easy to clean everything except the grill grate which is the only part that I have to be a little patient to clean … when I make French potatoes I use also parchment paper over the grill grate because I like to cut them very small and if I don’t use paper most of them will throw inside the grill grate to the very bottom .. maybe I have to use the other one with the holes … SO the basic question is … Am I right that I use the parchment paper you showed us to that video ALWAYS to the very bottom of the air fryer (as a grease collector)? Is it the same if I use just a little foil for the same job ?
Good evening, I want to say how much I enjoy your show. I had two strokes, a heart attack and I'm finding my fifth cancer. I lost my husband, my daughter and my three brothers and my parents has been tough. I sit here at night and I can't sleep between the pain and the sadness and your videos help me so very much. I had a huge gas leaky and my stove was shut and disconnected and I have the cosori air fryer That was recalled. It killed me to cut the plug. I'm waiting for my replacement but I ordered the dual burner and I'm excited to use it because I have problems with my hands without arthritis getting up and turning everything a few times. This makes it so much easier. When my disability check comes I will buy your book. I often try to join in the giveaway but I'm always missing it. My notifications are not working so I never know when anyone's on. I'm going to have my son look at it when he comes over. I have a tip for you all before you throw out your air fry that was recalled. Take the insert basket out and take the handle off. You will be able to use it in the dual burner instead of the rack and it'll fit. Also, the pull out there is a way to take the handle off of that, but I'm not sure it can be used but I know the insert can, but if you'd save both baskets, I'm sure you could use it in the replacement that they're sending you. The 168 AF to replace the 158 AF gives us an extra basket. Thank you so much! I share your videos with everyone. I just had a question about the square line. Is I purchased the ones for the 5 to 8 qt would anyone know the dimensions to the inside basket to the dual burner?
I apologize for the misspelling. After my strokes I cannot see so good. I'm using Google voice. It tends to type what it likes. I apologize. God bless everyone. Have a wonderful night. I am watching your videos now. 15 minute meals. I love them all. They keep me on my toes
So sorry to hear about the rough things going on. I am glad to hear the videos and air fryer have created a bit of a break in the day. And thank you for taking the time to share your own tips!!! Blessings to you! ❤️
I need to not have to clean it. If I have to clean it, I will just not use it. I currently live on pasta and toast and paper plates. Can the parchment paper stop me needing to clean it if I'm cooking things like chicken nuggets or other meat?
I have had no luck with the air fryer parchment paper. I bought the same type you show, square with the corrugated sides, but the smaller size to fit my fryer. Those sides always blow over on top of the food, impeding the cooking process. More than once, it even rolled all the way over and the food spilled out. I am not talking a small amount of food, either...even a three egg frittata with ham, cheese, and bell pepper has been completely blown out of it. I guess I can't use them. I don't have a cheap air fryer, either. It is a Phillips Viva. Oh well, I guess it must work in your air fryers.
Hi i like your videos a lot, I just got an air fryer what does it mean, do not use more than 60 minutes in two hour period? I can’t use it longer than 60 minutes at a time? My small brain is confused. ???😕
Hello! I'm guessing this is something from the user manual? I think it is just saying not to cook it for a total of an hour. Most things will cook in 15 min or less, so you should be just fine! You may find this video helpful: th-cam.com/video/c1MpZrOy0-A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zft4_m_EvfNzJayr
As someone Who Lives in Europe it is quiet Funny to See how you explain people how to use a Scale. Must be as strange to you guys as the volume measuring is for us.
Never, ever spray oil into a hot air fryer. The oil will instantly crystalize and weld itself to the no stick surface. Toss your food in a mixing bowl with oil or spray the oil onto a platter full of food. I learned this the hard way and hated the hardened on grease residue build up. If you are stuck with such a build up, do not use oven cleaner or empragnated scouring pads or you destroy the no stick surfaces. Instead make a paste of water and backing soda and a 3M songe/dish cloth and gently work the paste onto the hardened grease. The mild caustic action slowly eats the grease. I like to soak parts in a sink full of baking soda water to soften the grease. Don't mix soda with vinigar or you neutralize the sodas caustic action
Ah yes, it's a bummer, I agree! So sorry I didn't catch this in time to tell you to email hello @ empoweredcooks dot com so Haley could help you purchase a 2nd one and just pay for shipping once!
I have a question. I've been following you and watching your videos so long. I just How do you and your family eat all that food and stay so thin? I look at it and bam 15 lb just by watching you video😂
Ha ha! Well thank you! I try to hit the gym 3x/week and lift weights. And drink LOTS of water. And try to walk every day. And I've had 9 years since my last. It took me about 12 months before I got back to my ideal bodyweight. :)

Ah... the Philips air fryers have VERY powerful fans. Try using the metal rack to hold the parchment paper down so it doesn't blow up around the food.
You are the pro!! ❤️
Thanks April!
The oil sprayer is clear glass ...Olive oil is very light sensitive and will degrade much quick when not protected from light.
Thank you 😀@@empoweredcooks
Hello! I'd love to buy your sheet if it was in Celcius degrees. Does anyone know how to get a sheet for the swedish chefs? =)
I have a printable PDF Celsius version available here: www.airfryercheatsheet.com/pdf-1?YT
I have all of these except for # 8!
Not too shabby at all! :)
what is the brand name of oil sprayer?
Links are in the video description!
I have the Misto spray bottle from Target and it sucks 😕
Yes, it really does. That is the 2nd on I used and it lasted me about 2 months. :(
I have the same oil sprayer but it doesn't sprays spritz
There are several off brands on amazon. I've found the mistify is the best so far.
I really want the plate gripper!
It is so handy!

How do one buy your cookbooks
Hello! Just go to YummyAirFryerRecipes.com!
Do u still have your dreo chefmaker
Yes! I find I just use it for times when I cook large pieces of meat. :) Video coming soon!
I’m learning…
I bought the cord organizer months ago for the back of my Cosori Air Fryer and it constantly falls off. 🤷🏻♀️
As someone Who Lives in Europe it is quiet Funny to See how you explain people how to use a Scale. Must be as strange to you guys as the volume measuring is for us.
Rack is for things like chicken wings, lifts them off the bottom to allow airflow 😂
Have the cheat sheets and the temp checker.
Nice!
and the cookbook. That silicone liner should be at least # 2!@@empoweredcooks
Love you, love your vids . Please get a mic. 😊
Thank you! And I do have a mic on the camera. Maybe the sound is weird because I had bad allergies when shooting this one?
@empoweredcooks oh OK. Its just low sounding is all. Older ones are easier to hear. Thanks !
@@cooterbrown7734 I always use the closed captions so between them both I can understand. LOL
Tu so much!❤
You are welcome!
I JUST ADORE YOU.KATHY AND IF IAM CORRECT I HAVE A 🎂BUDDY IAM JUNE 6 GEMINI HERE.I LOVE MY AIR FRYER.AND HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM YOU.THANK YOU🫂😋💚

It’s a shame that your website does not allow ordering multiples. I wanted one for my niece but…..?
