Whilst watching this video my oldest son , who has autism, came into the room just as you were coming into Crieff, so I told him this is where he lived for the first 8 months of his life, (that was 21 years ago we left there )then when 4 miles later when you went through my home village of Muthill, I nearly leapt out of my chair as I’ve not seen any other videos of the place. There certainly are some truly amazing roads in Perthshire . Many many thanks Bruce for letting me show shay where he and I come from.
Great trip Bruce, you could have turned right off the A68 and crossed the Kielder Trail to the lake, the R18 would have loved it🤣. I live just off the A68 north of Corbridge, those roads are my backyard, very lucky. Great series mate👍👍
Awesome, I’ve said that to many folk it doesn’t matter where i’ve been where i’ve ridden (biased opinion of course) coming home to scotland and hammering in the miles genuinely is one of the best. Incredible trip lads 👌
Now that is a road with a view! Worth every mile in the seat up to John O' Groats.......the smiles on the biker faces said it all. Definitely thinking about visit up to Orkney now to visit my pal.
Thank you. The day the Queen passed we completed almost the same route in reverse starting at Jedburgh but heading to Dumferline to meet up with some of the group who followed us up North. The weather wasn't good but Perth was our destination. The weather improved but time was becoming short so instead of Crieff to Dunkeld we turned right to Perth at Crieff on the A35. It was clear that there had been a massive amount of rain and flash flooding and the main road was blocked. Diverted down some single track roads which were also flooded up to 12" but we all got through negotiating drowned cars. Stayed at 'The Lodge on Perth Racecourse and woke to continuing heavy rain. Sometimes you just have to go. The further North we travelled the better the weather and from then on it was perfect. Travelled through Braemar as people were starting to congregate to pay their respects.
I miss Scotland a lot! So many amazing places and open spaces. Thanks for the Video and the reminder that we need to make some episodes there too! Cheers =)
Hi Bruce, what a video to end this series ! ... Especially the wee naughty spirited part to “The devil’s tub” 😉.... I do love that ride, it’s called the three loch’s loop, the Loch you pass on the right is St Mary’s Loch....the meggot is higher up on the left, hence the water run to St Mary’s ....(The Meggot is a man made water body flooded over a village, that is still there ! On a good day you can see the church spire just under the water. ) Thanks for all your hard work in Taking the tours and hard work to edit the sharing of such great memories ....Keep up the good work....🥃🏴
Cafe was at St Marys Loch, Meggget is a reservoir in the hills to the left that feeds Edinburgh and the surrounding area. If you turn left at the AA box it takes you to Meggett and carries on past Talla and Fruid reservoirs and rejoins the A701 Moffat Road :-)
12:35 - Been thinking of this song all the way through the video. As a Scot who lived abroad for 15 years I can attest to the truth of it. I have felt restored; made whole and alive again since returning. Literally felt like a weight had been lifted and I could breath again. Come home Bruce, Caledonia IS calling and you won't regret it. Recently discovered your channel, great content about motorcycling without the need to refer to private body parts all the time like other channels, no names... Definite new subscriber.
I came back 4 years ago after 30 years out of Scotland in 3 countries… wouldn’t live anywhere else now … quite happy to ride around Scotland rest of my days 😉🏍🏴
my brother stays in Crieff and i stay in Dundee. if i am driving my van or my motorbike, its still a fun road when go visit him or go past up for a day trip to fort william or Oban lol i remember when i got my first 500cc back in 2006 lived near Stirling, almost every free saturday i had i would go to morrisons in Fort william for some bread, just so i had a reason to go lol
Absolutely stonking roads Bruce! I found that road that cuts thru the hills from Gleneagles to Yetts o'Muckhart last year, outstanding views. That road you were on before hitting Moffat, shame you didn't stop at the devil's Beeftub, there's a white van at the bottom, went off the road, 20 odd years ago at Xmas. Been there ever since. Driver survived, climbed all the way back to road, 500ft, WITH A BROKEN ARM!! Whenever I visit Scotland, I never want to come back home to England either. Brilliant series Bruce, dare I say one of your best.
Thanks fair cheered up my Friday evening, cana wait for some decent weather so I can get my new bike out and get some Highland miles on it. Live your best life ...
Love the Tour and the comments! Had a first taste of Scotland in June 2022 for a short 8- day trip between Edinburgh and Loch Ness... I was infected!! So I`ll be back in June this year from Fort Augustus to the North Coast - West Coast - Skye and lots more for more than 14 days. Keep on the good work! Best wishes from a german silverback!
Fantastic finale to the trip 👍. Your videos are superb Bruce and it really shows how much time and effort you put into making them. The choice of clips; the music; the transitions etc are great. You are getting better and better with every video. Great work mate 👍
Great tour Bruce, really enjoyed seeing the beautiful countryside. I know some of these roads but your videos have encouraged me to do more touring across the border!
After watching this series, I'm definitely going to do 5 days coastal round trip this year. Small tank bag for meh ballsling and hoof soakers, small tent n sleeping bag in rucksack on mu 999s. Those roads are wasted without some sliders. Yummy.
What a fantastic mini series, made better by the fact I watch this from a holiday lodge in Newtonmore, having spent the last week touring the north-west highlands...alas by car as the kids are with me...fully intend to be back on my bike this summer....
Awesome end to the tour Bruce, loved every second mate👌Familiar territory for me in this one, I cycle (easy on us pushbikers🤣) and motorcycle a lot of those roads👍I use the roads around Forth and Wilsontown a lot (mostly cycling though), was nice to see you guys take the back road I use all the time up to Braehead (blink and you'll miss that one😂) and then down into Carnwath! I cycled it 2 days ago and it was a glorious day for February👍I also love cycling and motorcyling those roads around Moffat, very popular with both cylists and motorcyclists👍The A708 Moffat to Selkirk road is a real corker👌You passed Loch of the Lowes first and then St Mary's Loch on that road, you were asking what loch it was😉
I visited Glasgow for a short bit last month and was told to spend more time in the summer and hire a bike. After watching this I will be putting some attention to that goal. What a stunning place.
Great trip Bruce good to see the wee tin of irn bru at the end 😁👍👍 I think you have converted a few boys who will no doubt return up North here again in the future with the bikes. 👍
I'm British but moved out to America a few years back got a Goldwing here and while the roads are more deserted out in the country the double yellow lines here mean if you get behind a car thats where you tend to stay. Also no lane filtering allowed. I thought this was the land of the free turns out it's the land of the do as I tell you. Beautiful riding i Scotland. I am watching your video and leaning with you...
What an absolutely great trip - watching from Canada - takes me back and gives me ideas for things to do when I'm over in Scotland visiting the family (in the Kinross area). Iron Bru - made in Scotland from girders . . .a Man's a Man for a' that!
I don't know if it's just me, but I love seeing other Motovloggers riding on roads that I've riden on! 👍🙂 Thank's for all the effort that goes into these dude, as I caught you saying you don't re-watch these after they're rendered, as you've seen it 100 times while editing & that's the way I roll aswell!!! 🤣👍
Awesome, i would spend an awful lot of time riding in Scotland, if they'd just move the midges out !! 🤣 great trip, maybe i'll make the next one, thx for sharing !
Great video Bruce. Makes me quite homesick watching it. I've been inside one of the Kelpies! A couple of my mates organised for me to see inside when I was back home one time. There's a giant horseshoe from one of the Clydedale horses that inspired the sculptures. Fantastic series. Loved every minute! Cheers Bruce! - Alan (edit just seen the end "Well, that's the fun over then..." made me spit out my tea! 🤣)
I use the Cardo Pactalk Edge - but Ryan was using another system, so we connected via Bluetooth - hence the lower quality audio from him. The Cardo Edge will connect to other Edge or Pactalk Bold units via Mesh, which gives superior audio quality, and a faster/stronger connection, with greater range. If you’re Uk-based then try somewhere like SportsbikeShop, or if you’re elsewhere then I can get you a discount via the Cardo website cardo systems.com and use code teapotone 👍
St Mary’s loch up from Moffat, probably most popular spot for bikers after the Green Welly .. cmon Bruce next tour ..Dumfries and Galloway… the highlands in miniature they call it, Scotlands highest village and Scotlands most southerly point amongst other things, and amazing roads, scenery….
It was St Mary's Loch not Megget Loch. Megget 'reservoir' was the next left turn. You missed a class detour, or short cut as you came down the 701. Awesome area for bikes.
Really enjoyed watching you guys riding around Scotland. Absolutely love the place and go up there most years, sadly in a car so we can both enjoy it. Would love to do it on a bike one time. Hope you all got home safe and banked the memories. Awesome
Great viewing watching you all travelling 😀 👍, Your knowledge of roads places route numbers brilliant, I ride, know exactly the places I've visited but if someone asks me, Not all the routes , locations come to me ,have to look them up sadly 😕 😞 😪 ,

Absolutely awesome road trip thanks for sharing. It’s on my bucket lust if I can make it before I pop off (74) but I’ll do it a bit slower. Ride safe
What an absolute belting series, really enjoyed it….
Going to try an head up there this year ❤️
Thanks Jamie 👍
Just realized Bruce, if I stand close enough to the Tele and put my hands out, I don't need to leave the house. lol
Meggets water near Peebles. Back in the day, we would go to Loch St. Mary's with Grandparents. About 1968ish
Great trip Bruce, you could have turned right off the A68 and crossed the Kielder Trail to the lake, the R18 would have loved it🤣. I live just off the A68 north of Corbridge, those roads are my backyard, very lucky. Great series mate👍👍
Another brilliant vid again Bruce. Thanks so much for sharing. And as always safe enjoyable riding till next time 😊👍.
Brilliant Bruce, really enjoyed the series. Thanks for taking us along for the ride…

Awesome, I’ve said that to many folk it doesn’t matter where i’ve been where i’ve ridden (biased opinion of course) coming home to scotland and hammering in the miles genuinely is one of the best. Incredible trip lads 👌
I have the same feeling travelling back into Wales
Now that is a road with a view! Worth every mile in the seat up to John O' Groats.......the smiles on the biker faces said it all. Definitely thinking about visit up to Orkney now to visit my pal.
100% worth the effort bud, and Orkney is a beautiful bunch of islands to visit too 👍
Bruce. That body of water is St Mary’s Loch. Megget water is the river that feeds the Loch
Thank you. The day the Queen passed we completed almost the same route in reverse starting at Jedburgh but heading to Dumferline to meet up with some of the group who followed us up North. Brilliant as always Leigh, that woman on the back had me in stitches 🤣🤣
Trouble is they just go so quick .
That was St Mary's Loch Meggot & Talla reservoirs were to your left
Awesome. It's been fantastic to watch. Pity I wasn't riding it,hopefully one day. Take care, stay safe 🏍👍
So glad the boys and you enjoyed our beautiful country big man. Stay safe this season everyone.
Loved this trip fantastic to watch a group come together and have some proper fun

Great series, amazing footage.
Nothing on the internet has ever inspired me to travel somewhere as much as your Scotland video's, Bruce!

Fantastic series! Scotland is by far the best place in the world, especially when you experience it on a motorbike.
Loved this video, as it’s roads I ride on a regular basis. And agree the road from Comrie over the moor towards Braco is cracking.

Great series Bruce, I'm off to Scotland next week, fingers crossed its as good as it was for you boys
Really enjoyed that series mate. You sounded so sad on the last day so it must have been a good one 👏

That was a cracking series Bruce, don't realise how lucky i am to have all these roads at my back door. Haste ye back!
You eventually found Saint Mary’s Loch .
It’s a real gem of a place .

Where are you originally from? I'm from Edinburgh and do the NC500 every now and then, heading down to Zurich in April on a VT750. Love the content! 👍
