Holy smokes! That's me! I'm Manimal, the one who looks like your crazy aunt taking a highway off ramp, getting passed by Scott Speed. I didn't even notice it was you bc that downhill into the chicane on a controller is hair raising, but I've only been playing the game about a week. Only a week, and my dream of getting blown off the track by Super GT has been fulfilled.

I mean, we've had Monaco before. Odk why we don't now. I would LOVE to see the autumn rings brought back. Especially for lobby drifting, autumn mini was amazing for tandem.

i found the merc to be superglued to the floor to a fault. i struggled to get the rear to do anything unless i stomped the throttle like an idiot

We're still *missing the same data* in VR as was removed for GT Sport's VR mode, after all. 🤷♂
Now I get why Scott Chegg is so successful in American. All other drivers p6 and below are on controllers.

I think the car addons has been quite balanced, the road car roaster is still outdated, lacking many muscle cars, modern super and hypercars, the by far best car added in this update is for me the Jaguar xj220

The fact that they added the AMG GT3 EVO, surely gives me hope to maybe seeing the 911 GT3R/M4 GT3/C8 GT3 at one point….as well as the Huracan GT3 EVO, hoping for the Boatley GT3 looks a bit of a long shot 🥲
and the ferrari 488 gt3 or the mclaren 720s gt3
Good news, there’s a far superior game called Assetto Corsa Competizione. Youll just have to give up currency and road cars and only have 2 categories of cars 😂

Don’t forget one lambo wich is gonna be 2 in the next couple monthse since the new huracan gt3 is in development and one bmw
Also add KTM and Brabham modified gt2 cars for gr3. AND UPDATE/ADD A LOT MORE OF GT4 cars.
They could also add one make series cars like Super Trofeo evo2, Ferrari Challenge, and Porsche Gt3 cup. Maybe even a 488 Modificita

1 Porsche? The version in the game is the 2017 spec RSR. There’s been 3 versions of the RSR since then and 2 versions of the GT3-R so you could argue their 5 Porsches behind lol.
Changing livery is crucial for performance.
Worth half a second a lap minimum.
I can't believe that a new car actually made it in! Haven't driven it yet though. I'm a little worried about starting sport mode as I don't think I'm good enough at the game. I have been doing some online racing leagues though, and they've been a lot of fun. I'm seeing a lot of improvement. And it all started with the advice you gave me on a comment I left a few months ago. So thank you, it's really helped.
I wouldn't be worried about sport, it accounts for all ability levels. Just use your mirrors and let unsafe drivers be... unsafe.

@@BigBird629 I have actually won a race in sport mode, it was my 7th race. It wasn't very impressive though, it was in a Mazda 3, I started 1st because I had a decent qualifying time, and 2nd and 3rd were too busy ramming into each other to be a challenge...
I wouldn't consider myself good either and sport mode is still fun. Just trying to finish better than you started is fun

No kidding. Following somebody closely is the hardest thing I've been trying to learn in this game, especially under braking. I don't know what your DR is, but in B rated lobbies part of the struggle is that I have no trust in the car ahead to brake consistently so I have to assume a bigger margin.
I my early days I was having trouble with this. I was hitting my marker so if I’m running into the guy in front he must be braking too early right? Well it is a possibility but then I remembered when you’re following someone closely, your speed will be higher so you have to use more conservative brake markers. You probably know this but sometimes knowing is easier than remembering in the heat of battle.

I tried playing this game last night for the first time in a long time, and I have to admit I was positively surprised about the new physics. For someone just playing casually with a gamepad, it felt so much more manageable. I remember the first days of this game, where traction was merely a word. Trying to apply throttle ended in a burnout contest instead...
Better late than never, and the important part is that a game like this should be able to be played casually as well because it is simcade afterall.

I did the spa 1 hour a couple of days ago in vr. It's really nice to drive, lovely and stable, but it does sound a tad quiet compared to the '16 version.

The current choice of cars in GT7 is ok, certainly better than Sport, but kind of terrible compared to older games in the series - GT7 features far too few road cars for a start!
In particular, it generally only has one version of various road cars and not always the best version available in real life and almost no newer refreshed or special edition models, which is something the older games were very good at including!
For example, I'm a big Mazda fan and while they have an impressive selection of racing and concept cars, the selection of road cars is very poor!
On the 6, they only have the same (damn diesel!) 2015 model that was in GT Sport - there's no sign of any of the pretty significant model refreshs we got since and in particular no sign of the now three petrol engines it has since 2019* (or even the higher and lower power diesels available for the 6), nor any sign of the 100th and 20th anniversary edition models!
While of the older models, the short run MPS is a must!
(While some estate versions would be interesting to see and customise 🤔😯😀🤘.)
On the fourth generation MX-5, they only have the 1.5L softtop, neither of the 2.0L engine, nor the hardtop or the 100th anniversary edition etc...
While the first gen MX-5 is present, it's only the 89 version with no second, third generation or special edition models, such as the 30th anniversary edition.
On the only recently added 3, it's very strange that they only added the hatchback and not the saloon as well, while on older models, the 3 MPS would be nice to have as well...

*The petrol engines available in Europe are 145hp and 165hp 2.0L engines and an unfortunately automatic only 2.5L 194hp version, which got a turbo in other markets!
While as well as this 2.2L 174hp diesel, it was available with 150 and 184 hp as well.
Anyway, I hope this changes soon! 😀🤘🤞

This game is half finished. Why a minivan before a real race car? They put shit cars in the game but not a 93 cobra R, Camaro, Celica or other classics before a prius??? Let us change the seat color and right or left hand drive! They made the racing soft tires have vintage style tread for some old cars. Why?? I want slicks!! Axle temp gauge in the Pantera dont work and stays in cold even tho u thrash it. More steering wheel interface, adjustments are needed!
I want them to add different Audi's like the 90s s2 2000 s4 rs4, or even the 1969 amc javelin get rid of the truck's why have truck's.

This game needs more competitiveness. Too many single make races in gr3. They should make daily races, cars can only be used by 1 person. Make it race to select your car

they need some more modern gt racecars and some of the new hypercar class racecars. and the new z and supra supergt cars. the development period of gt7 shows its age because most racecars are 2016 or older

The past two updates killed the C4 corvette at short tracks or anything with banked turns and they still haven’t fixed it at all
