To anyone reading this while listening to this music, I know what you feel, you’re probably even crying right now, but whatever can happen to you is nothing compared to what you have accomplished and who you are. You are an amazing person and never let anyone make you feel otherwise. You might be having a bad time, but behind walls is always happiness. Have a great day/week/month/year and remember that nothing is worth loosing your life.
that last sentence hit it on the head. well said! Have faith and live life without fear of the end. we do not know when our time is up so dont waste precious time worrying. spend it in happiness with those you love 🙏
Ya I am chilling with my guitar in bed. Just sick and tired of feeling crummy. I am learning this song with my Parker Nitefly slung across my body. It really helps to take my mind off the migraine pain!
I got the final verse of this tattooed on my side when I was 22. Now I'm 37 and my wife of 12 years died last year. Now it's a haunting reminder that I'm alone and of what waits for me on the other side.
Yep, and I don't care for guitar riffs too much, at least not when they go on forever. But I'm also super picky about music in general. And despite that, I get goosebumps every time I listen to it. And the song in general. It invokes so much nostalgia and I really don't know why. It's weird.
A lot of people seem to read this song as Sad but I kinda don't see it that way I read as trying to help someone get over a traumatic loss kinda? Like, it's trying to comfort someone whose loved one is about to pass away. "Hey. Don't be afraid. Death is only natural. Sure, they're gonna be gone soon, and that's sad, but they'd want you to live your life."
Best memories of blasting this out of the barracks, everyone within 1.5 miles could hear it .I know it was at least a 1.5 because my best friend left the club and heard it loud and clear
So much nostalgia for me with this song. My dad listened to this dong as well as others growing up. He's still around and doing well and my mom is too. I just live on my own so, this is just one if thos nostalgia songs for me.

I believe that about electric conduction and the afterlife. My brother in laws aunt called them and told them to hurry up and get to the funeral. It was her funeral and there was no phone record of that call from the phone company! Very cool Mark! Now Mark , R.I.P. blessed heart. Thanks for all you did for our family! ❤
$8.00 for as close as you can get to the stage, for a live concert. Hell yes we were lucky. Now the price to hear someone sing is ridiculous, as if it's a rare commodity. I refuse to pay over $100 to hear anyone sing the geriatric blues.
"I have a fever, but the only cure is more cowbell." And since seeing that SNL skit right here on TH-cam I actually for once noticed the cowbell in the background of this song even though I've actually heard this song many times before.
Aaaaah yes! This was the cruising song when you just fired up good 😂 Man that 77 Monte Carlo with those Jensen triaxles and a pioneer amp.The acoustics in that car were amazing good memories
I'd give the world to go back to a time with no rap culture, no gen Z stupidity, no wokeness, no garbage and you could just live an honest, wholesome life.
So I heard this song on Chucky and I had thought it was one of the actors songs but then I come to hear it was from Blue Õyster Cult I never heard of them but after hearing this song I'm loving and after reading the lyrics and actually understanding the words I did shed tears. What a great song

The guitar riff in this song is one of the best in rock. Right up there with Eddie Van Halen's Eruption
