The a capella hook at the beginning is so incredibly catchy and magnificent, the lyrics are so motivational, and the electric guitar solos are so fantastic. It has the vibe of Don't Stop Believing, only more badass, bittersweet, and much less overplayed. As a person born in the 90s, it gives me that spirited feeling that the Pokemon Theme Song was first to inspire. This song was already famous before Supernatural, and I similarly believe that, had it been made the theme song to any other TV show, it would have become just as viral as it is now. That being said... Supernatural deserves the credit for introducing so many of us to this song and having a plot that resonates so well with the song's lyrics. Now I learned so much and love my relationship with god I know he loves and cares for me AND HE LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU TOO! The a capella hook at the beginning is so incredibly catchy and magnificent, the lyrics are so motivational, and the electric guitar solos are so fantastic. It has the vibe of Don't Stop Believing, only more badass, bittersweet, and much less overplayed. As a person born in the 90s, it gives me that spirited feeling that the Pokemon Theme Song was first to inspire.
This song was already famous before Supernatural, and I similarly believe that, had it been made the theme song to any other TV show, it would have become just as viral as it is now.
That being said...
Supernatural deserves the credit for introducing so many of us to this song and having a plot that resonates so well with the song's lyrics.
