High Tea from Le Brunch Cafê - Sandwiches - Season 1 Episode 55

C and I both enjoyed High Tea at Le Brunch Café. What a lovely and scrumptious way to enjoy a leisurely afternoon sampling savoury and sweet dishes. Today we sampled delectable finger sandwiches and seasonal fruit. The sandwiches ranged from fresh cucumber and gorgonzola/cream cheese on pumpernickel, ham mouse and eggs salad with fresh chives on crustless triangles of white bread (C's favourite). Olive and sun-dried tomato tapenade with prosciutto on ham on rye are some of the sandwiches we enjoyed. We also enjoyed a selection of seasonal fresh fruit which included dragon fruit, watermelon, honeydew melon, black and green grapes and plump blueberries.
Le Brunch Café is a small, cozy and very lovely and is located in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. High Tea is available on Saturday and Sundays between 2:15 - 4:00 and by reservation only.
