@@jamiegandertonmaybe, maybe not. I had that growing up even into my twenties and I never even touched weights let alone gear. If he's on enough gear to cause backnie he's not doing properly looking at his size
here is the funny part, people who get their limbs amputated get something called "phantom pain" and it's legitimate pain that feels like it's coming from their missing limb you can't escape it without fixing it
Damn bro...people really be fucking around with other people's lives huh? Hope you recover quickly... Doctors will tell you not to use your body generally, but experience shows pushing yourself a bit (as in working out with light weights, or the basic movements (like walking if it's working the injured body part) speeds up recovery.
Stay away from that shoulder press machine and keep your elbows slightly downwards towards your sides instead of keeping em out while doing chest exercises. These things fixed my shoulder pain. Also using free weight instead of machines is better in the sense that it helps with building stability.
Could also be shoulder impingement syndrome which I have(proven with a scan). It's a narrowing of the area in the shoulder that tendons pass through causing them to rub every time they pass through it. Too much of this causes inflammation which then can pinch the enlarged tendon as it tries to pass through giving you now sharp pain as well as the dull pain you had before. Good exercises for this are ones that stretch open the shoulder, arm behind back stretches and the best thing by far is full bodyweight hanging(by your hands) every day, but only if it's not giving you sharp pain to do so. If your shoulder pain is not shoulder impingement syndrome ignore the above although it's actually way more common than most people know. Hope this helps someone.
Well this creator has a youtube video on impingement and hanging can be helpful for some but there are more evidence based exercises to treat "impingement". Also please understand that impingement describes a bunch of different issues that all happen because of narrow space in the subcromial area. The problem might be the tendons but also an enlarged bursa or in the worst osteophytes in which case you might need surgery.
This is why strengthening the external rotators is so important. People work all their big muscles and completely neglect their stabilizing muscles. These muscles can also be torn easily under too much load if they are too weak.
100%. Ive historically had neck and shoulder pain/impingement. Years of it! I stopped going gym and returned after a few years. This time i do lots of lat stretching, shoulder dislocations using a band, and external rotator exercises. Also do more upper back strength exercises. I have zero shoulder and neck issues over a year on. Stretching the lats helps you shoulders and neck move freely.
@@bodrulm1I have literally been doing the exact same thing. Returned to the gym a couple of months ago, after a 2,5 year break. Now I do 30 minutes of stretching, mobility and stability exercises and focus more on upper back and neck strength. Never been more strong and loose at the same time
You're a god send with these shoulder shorts, was able to finally feel the sensation of progress after my shoulder work out. Missed that feeling for around a year 😢

Look up rotator cuff strengthening exercises, I've had shoulder pain since I started lifting but once I discovered that my rotator cuffs were weak AF I've started working on them before they workout, helps a ton
Start all of your upper body workouts with these exercises as the warm-up, then go into your session focusing on light weight and perfect movement patterns until you can gradually build up the strength pain free.
I love your channel. I started doing your rotator cuff exercises and oblique core exercises recently and have had very positive results. These here will be the next series I add to my warmups. With luck and hard work at some point soon I won’t be a complete mess. Thanks so much for all the helpful advice and demonstrations.
As I said without getting the proper knowledge some fitness experts say to do this and that bro it’s not 90s anymore ! BTW great video explaining with facts
I had the same issue while doing pushups, shoulder presses & bench presses. Somehow slow tempo Arnold Press with low weight and high frequency fixed it.
Let me rephrase this a little better. Did he do the corrective exercises once twice or three times a day, and did he continue working with the weights, or did he take a break from them during that time.
@catmeister6460 Well, instead of trying to insult me, maybe you could answer the question then. LoL I DO UNDERSTAND HE SAID FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2 MONTH'S, BUT THAT IS NOT THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION.
My pain was so bad until my doc diagnosed me with a torn ligament. Surgery repaired it, so now I'm pain free...in my right shoulder only. I still feel it in my left shoulder
@@invictuz4803 not exactly sure. According to my doctor way back in 1999, he said I had bursitis. From what I was reading though, a lot of these types of injuries occur with bench press exercises. I started lifting weights at 12, and I never had anyone showing me proper technique. I'm guessing I just screwed it up with improper lifting techniques.
I used to have this pain I tried everything but it didn’t work eventually it got better and I realized this was because my chest had gotten stronger in my chest workouts but my shoulders weren’t used to it until it got stronger and stronger and now I feel no pain it got better eventually

Was depressed for a year then went back to overhead shoulder press, never a impingement again so I incorporated 70% over head and 30% side raises for a year now with not one bit of pain or impingement
It will help for sure, but rear delt flies still recruit help from other areas of the body. The point of these smaller movements is to target just the small rotator cuff muscles without allowing the delts/back to jump in as much. I would also recommend doing serratus anterior work as well since that also helps keep the shoulder in place
Rear delt helps me but doesnt cure. Same with the mcgill big 3. I started incorporating a lat pull down with one arm... like what squat university shows with the bands attached to the bar when benching. Engaging lats has helped but im still missing something. One day ill find it
