I just made this, and put the chicken breasts in a bun with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It was amazing. I've been looking for a recipe that uses frozen chicken breasts in my foodi, and this was perfect. I'll be making this often. Thanks Doug!

Congrats on your success with followers, nice job on presenting a new kitchen appliance
I bought my Ninja Foodi at Sam's club for $179.00 in Midland, TX. This gadget and the Copper Chef induction cook-top and pan set (also at Sam's club $69.00 each) has worked out superbly for efficient, nonstick, oil free and low fat cooking schemes with easy clean up and reduced temperature(s) in the kitchen. What a distinct difference from cooking with propane in the RV that I live in while working in the oil and gas exploration/production industry (currently living in the desert of West TX). The reduced heat produced from a conventional propane oven and stove top in the kitchen and lower cost for electricity versus propane is also an advantage amortized $ over time after buying this.
My days are 12-14 hrs long of hard labor and I seek quick, efficient, and healthy eating at the end of the day after crawling over the threshold and through the door. So far this Ninja Foodi has been absolutely amazing. I ditto all the representation(s) that Doug has suggested and demonstrated. I am ordering some of the options like the rib rack and an extra pot for dual dishes and the dehydrator rack when I get the chance.
This NInja thingy is a game changer in my kitchen. "Doug, I agree, I'm a single guy and another Foodie who appreciates good food that is cooked well, healthily, and efficiently". I definitely like this Ninja Foodi gadget too. "Go git you one, I know all ya'll will be happy with it, I am.".

Good on you and the Ninja Foodi is a game changer if you have a small kitchen and need fast nourishing delicious food. Can;t wait to use the Foodi when I buy my little camper trailer. I just got a truck to be able to haul one. Now I am looking forward to escaping the Texas oven in the summer and get some cooler air. Grilling takes time and cooking on a stove in a little space gets way too warm. God Bless

Dear Doug, Thank you, you are the only person to address the "watr" message. I found no information in any of the Ninja Foodi paperwork or online. I also got the message "pot" and I still don't know what that means. I am sure I have plenty of liquid but I keep getting the "watr" message. Now I know the cooker is not going to explode I can sleep better tonight. Please keep up the good work. I am making curry and I will let you know how it turns out. This is my "maiden voyage".

If you use the wrack with the long handles, you can put that in upside down, put your chicken on top and air fry like that. That way you don’t have to flip your chicken. Great video. 👍

Hey Doug, got my Foodi today. Tried RiceaRoni on the bottom, skinless ck breasts on top. Over shot the time on air fry after the short pressure cook. Rice was grule, ckn was leathery on the outside, dry inside.
Cooked too long. Btw, started with thawed, not frozen.
Anyway, did another at less time and nailed it.

I left my water when I was making chicken wings and I was soooo disappointed by the results. No where near the crisping that I had hoped from an air fry. The next time I took it out and bam, there was the crispy skin. Toss that water- it's done all it could!

I really enjoy the way Doug teaches how to pressure cooker. However I ran into a problem and since I am a newbie I cannot think my way through this I would appreciate advice. I pc frozen chicken breast for 12 minutes then I a.c. with teriyaki sauce for 4 minutes on both sides. The temperature was 165 which is what I was aiming for but the chicken is dry. I left the water from pressure cooking in while a.c. because I thought it would possibly help keep the chicken moist. Do I reduce the. Pc time and increase a.c. time or visa versa ?

Hey Doug. Me and my husband been watching your videos of gadgets and such. We are curious on a few things. If you have time, we would like to ask:you have the breville smart oven air. We are comparing this ninja 8qt foodi to the breville smart oven air. I know they're totally different products and catagories, but if you had to choose from either of those which would you choose and why? How long have you had the foodi and is it holding up well? On the breville we read reviews and feedback and most of the complaints are on quality control and repairs. How long have you had it and is it still working ok? Have you made a frozen pizza in breville? I know it's a lot to ask but we been following you on our quest to buy an aor fryer or maybe convection oven. Thanks!

My own addition: I literally just did this, with 2 frozen breasts, salted and peppered. 12 minutes pressure. Basted on bottom with bbq, 5 minutes air fry, flip and baste top, 3 minutes air fry. The breasts retained most of their size if not all... but they're tough. The insides are white and "flaky", but 1 breast (mine of course, she gets the smaller one XD) in the very center is slightly pink, still warm, slightly rubbery but much much easier to chew. Also, before I air fried, I emptied the water and blotted the chicken dry before applying the bbq. I don't know what any of this means, cause the Foodi is a different kind of beast, but maybe you all can make heads or tails of it. Eating it right now. I give a logical 3 out of 5, but a 3.5 out of 5 factoring in nostalgia for "meh" bbq chicken my mom used to make... hers may have been better.
Side note: I'm not complaining... these things were rock hard and slightly frosty 20 minutes ago.
