Thanks for showing this recipe - I was skeptical when I read it in the cookbook, but your video gave me the confidence to give it a try. And it is SO FREAKING GOOD. The chicken is tender, the sauce is flavorful, the crust is crispy and amazing. I could eat this every day.

I made this the other night and it was fantastic - no more store bought pot pies for my family! Next I'm going to try a lobster pot pie variant with a lobster base sauce with a bit of sherry, lobster meat (diced up), but everything else pretty much the same. Naturally I'll cook the lobster separately to not overdo it in the pressure cooker, and mix it in when it's time to put the pie crust on at the very end. Thanks for the video, Jeremy.

Jeremy, once again an excellent video. FYI the best price for chicken 🐓 is Costco. $4.99 for a whole roasted chicken.Better price per pound than at the grocery store and it’s already spiced cooked. Left overs? Freeze them (the chicken meat). Just got my new Foodi a few days ago. Last night I made a Chicken quesadilla with the crisper function. Excellent.

Does anyone know the difference in the ninja foodi prices what each one comes with? Thank you of course I got my instant pot last Christmas and my air fryer about 5 months ago and then this beauty comes out😍

@@thesnoozebutton2568 --- I bought the 8 quart Foodi a few days ago from the Ninja site. It comes with everything the 6.5 quart model does; there's no difference except for the size. But they do have a deal on their site if you upgrade you can get the silicone mitts, a chopper and one or two other items and it comes with a 3 year warranty. Of course, those extra goodies does jump up the price.
I got the 8 quart version with free shipping, 6 months free financing and no sales tax for my state.

Wow, that really looks great!! My Ninja Foodi is coming in the mail this week. I definitely have to try this, and variations as well, using chicken thighs ,and using maybe puff pastry on top. Keep up these great videos, I love them !! It's always trial and error when using a variation, but at least once you get the basics down pat, things will just fall into place. I've been pressure cooking for about 50 years now, and boy, this is truly a step-up from the old cookers....lol !

Let’s say you wanted to make this inside a small round casserole dish…could you do all the steps except putting crust on…when it’s done pressure cooking, remove, pour in dish, place crust over top, place trivet in pot with dish on top and THEN broil? Great demos, Thank you, convincing me I want to keep my foodi 😊

Made this for dinner tonight and it was fantastic! Like you, Jeremy, I seasoned the chicken too and I added a bit of ground sage and dried thyme (didn't have fresh). The pie crust had to be put on top in pieces like a puzzle because I couldn't pick it up in one piece but that didn't matter at all once it was put on the plate. This is a great recipe. Oh, I also diced up and added 2 small red potatoes. Will probably add some green beans too next time. I lifted the lid at the 8 minute mark and it was perfectly golden brown so I shut it off.

Hi Jeremy! I was curious to try this recipe the other day but was hesitant because the Ninja Foodi is a whole new thing and was kind of nervous. I was so lucky to find your video!!! It came out perfect! Everyone loved it! Thank you so much!!!! Please, I have a question... when you select the Sear/Saute option, do you hear a clicking sound as the pot heats up? I don-'t know if I just happen to notice it now? Im talking about a clicking noise even before I add the oil in... wondering if its normal. My ninja foodi is brand new basically... just made like 4 things in it so far. Thank you so much in advance!

There are so many recipes that you can make in the Ninja foodi. This Appliance reminds me of an old saying, "if you build it right they will come". And with access to internet recipes via phones. These video testimonials are the best form of advertisement. A lot of corporations that market products and services to the public could learn a thing or two from the ninja line of appliances. For example when I worked in a kitchen some of the cooks owned and used the Ninja blender. I then decided to own one. Again Word of Mouth is a force of advertisement and brand loyalty that a company cannot buy. They have to earn it and when it's earned, the positive or negative experience is shared with conviction. That being said. The only issue that I have with my ninja foodi is cleaning it.
