I decided to make a notify that pops down from the top i have a show and hide animation so it comes in from the top then sets a delay for the requested duration and then it runs the hide animation the problem is when i have multiple notifies overlap eachother

Why would you use custom Event instead of a Blueprint Interface, actually why are you doing it that way in the First place. if you are going to use a "create user widget" that means the Widget wont be loaded into memory until it Fired. so in the Widget Blueprint just hook the animation up to event construct.
