Question.. looks like you are enjoying your xterra not just making it look nice. I am asking a few xterra owners there opinion on this. My xterra is a 2006, with 235k miles. It runs fantastic and I like it but before I start lifts and bumpers,etc, would you look for a lower mileage one or not necessary?
That is really up to you man. If you take good care of it, the xterra will take care of you! The great things about xterras are that if the engine dies, you can easily throw in a v8 from the titan
Thank you for the informative video. Do you have any trouble removing/accessing the oil filter? Do you need to remove the skid plate each time you change your oil?

Just got my bumper in, I have the Diode Dynamics SS3 Fog lights on my Xterra. But it seems the bracket does not work on the Expedition one bumper, do you have any idea what kind of bracket we need to purchase? thanks! great vid.
Honestly man. I’m not sure. I didn’t need to get another bracket for the Baja designs lights. My advice would be to reach out to expedition one and see what they recommend for your light. If that doesn’t help it may vine form to you making your own bracket. Sorry I’m not score to help more. Best of luck 🤙🏽
@@conheck_offroad What bolts did you end up using for the bottom of the skid plates? the four that came with the OEM skid plate do not reach the treads. And the silver looking bolts that I had left over are waaay too big for the bolt hole.
I just completely removed the fender liners. I did just finally get a light bar for the roof rack. I had been waiting for a long time for the bar to come in. Baja designs was having supply chain issues which is why it took so long.
love the channel man i’ve been looking for a video on your wheels and tires. if you don’t mind what are you running and did you have to do any trimming or melt mods to get them to fit also is your car at stock height if not what lift kit are you running to get those to fit?
I’m running XD wheels 17x9 33” tires Achilles desert hawk M/T. As for cutting. With no spacers a slight trim of the liner was necessary to prevent rubbing. With spacers I had a decent amount of cutting the plastic bumper and I also completely removed the wheel liner. My recommendation would just be to get an off road bumper that will completely illuminate all rubbing. For height I’m running a 3” lift from nisstec lifts
hey ive recently crashed and my bumper got shoved in so when i turn you hear my bumper on my wheels, i don’t have the money for a mechanic so i watched this video so i could know how to replace it but i have no idea in how to pull back the metal pieces of my car. what would you recommend me to do?

Hey buddy, regarding your idea of mounting the hi-lift jack on the bar… in the unlikely event it falls off while you’re driving, a hi-lift jack isn’t something you want to run over, especially at a high speed. Put things you don’t want to run over BEHIND the vehicle. Just in case…
Thanks for the recommendation justin! I had it on the front for just short while until I found a new place to mount. I have since moved it to the spare tire carrier in the back. Out of the way and easy to get to at the same time.

Just have to take the skid plates off each time. Just a few bolts

You will need to remove the skid plate most likely. But it’s not too difficult to remove.

Nope. I haven’t had any issues with the cvs.
What did you do with your fender liners? Remove, cut, reshape? Also, did you end up getting a lightbar for the roof rack?
I just completely removed the fender liners.
I did just finally get a light bar for the roof rack. I had been waiting for a long time for the bar to come in. Baja designs was having supply chain issues which is why it took so long.

This bumper is specifically for 05+ xterras. But check with the company. They may make one for the pathfinder
