Thanks Devin! It'll help if I get rid of my almost-street tires and throw on something with actual tread!

“That was custom.” 😂 Nice work!

After the "bumper impact event" the end of it was mangled/inverted so to drive off and finish my day I just cut the whole end off and rolled with it. 😂

@@TrailRunnerGuy I will be implementing this as I have a spare plastic bumper... I love it.

Hello Nice video. I noticed your hood has gas springs. Did you add those yourself or did they come standard? I have a 2006 and it has a crappy stick to hold up the hood. If they are standard let me know you vehicle year so i can go find some "replacement units and I will stick them on my hood. Thanks. Im gonna get a WAM when i gert ready to add my winch. I love how it tucks under and is compact. Thanks.

Thanks - I love my hood struts! This vid has the link to the one I purchased.

Nicely done, did you replace the bumper as well if so with what, I have the Wam insert and now I want a bumper to go with it

Thanks! I still have the ugly temporary plastic bumper cover on as seen in the video. The new, uncut replacement stock bumper cover (sitting my my garage) needs some light trimming to fit around the WAM mount/winch. Will look mostly stock when done.
If you’re considering putting a non-stock full bumper on, I don’t think that would work if you already have the WAM mount attached to your frame. Apologies if I’m misunderstanding your question.

@@TrailRunnerGuy no you’re on point, I’m search for a non stock, let’s see what I find that will accommodate

Nice job! I'm thinking to do the exact same setup as you have. Do you have any comments on the winch you installed? Are you happy with the Rugcel?

Thanks! Haven’t had to pull anything heavy/difficult with the winch yet (just a couple easy, short pulls) but so far, it’s great. Cut-off switch and wireless remote work great. No issues.

Did winch fit OK? or did you have to modify? Thanks for nice video!

Winch fit very well. Trimmed a small amt of the center plastic opening to easier reach the winch controller plug.
Might install my Hornblasters “mini” horn this weekend. If I do I’ll show some closeups of the winch area too.

How long did this take you?

    • @TrailRunnerGuy
      @TrailRunnerGuy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Start to finish roughly 3 hours with some beverage breaks. An hour of that was just deciding/completing how/where I wanted my winch wiring and cut-off switch.

      The winch: Amazon.
I think I linked to it. If not I’ll add the link to the description shortly.
