Fruit daifuku sounds delicious! I've heard of it with strawberries, but not kiwi or orange. My mom usually doesn't let me buy strawberries, even when in season as she doesn't want the strawberries to go bad in the fridge if we accidentally forget to eat them. But I could totally try this recipe with oranges, as my mom always likes to buy those. And cherries are my favorite fruit, which could also be used once summer comes and the fruit is in season.
recently i was looking at family photos from decades ago with my older sister. it was hilarious looking at chubby babies in a relative’s hold and realising that was us! i hope sutan has as much fun watching these videos in the future as well. she’s absolutely adorable!

Okay, this will sound really dumb, but I watch Shin Chan quite a bit and I always wondered how long it took to make mochi. The characters, especially Ai Suotome, made it sound like it took forever. This was really easy. I think my husband will like these very much. Thank you so much for the recipe! ❤

(I can also make many other things from scratch, but I choose not to when there is an easier way that tastes the same...ex...espresso brownies, collard greens, family recipe BBQ base and sauce, etc.) It's a busy world. Do you have time to make food that takes the most of several days to cook? I don't. I remember my father cooking everything from scratch. In my family, the men do most of the cooking which has been tradition since at least the 1700s (which I thought everyone did until I was in 1st grade and saw someone's mother cooking which for me was weird for me, because I had thought cooking was a man's job) and my dad was a stay at home parent. (My great grandfather, grandfather, grand uncle, dad, and uncles did all the cooking for their families except for holidays when women cooked.) Anyhoo, I wasn't aware that you could get these ingredients easily and do it in such a short period of time. I called my local Japanese grocer and they have everything I need! I was just showing my gratitude to Moe for showing us an easier way that I didn't know was possible. That's all. 😁

Not so easy if you make mochi from scratch (gluttonous rice). Actually, there’s another video on this channel where they do just that!

I love daifuku also. I just did it 2 days ago. I did matcha strawberry 🍓 Daifuku. It is strawberry 🍓 season in Thailand. It’s quite expensive. Thai people like to eat Daifuku. Love you & your family.
