@@ladyabstinencelevain8696 I can well imagine. Is the glass itself colored, or is it some sort of finish laid over top? If the glass itself is colored, you can use a pumice stick to scrub away mineral buildup. You can mix equal parts dish soap and vinegar in a spray bottle and use that for taking up soap scum and other slimy things, but it does need rinsed off because it will leave a film of its own if you don't. Use equal parts white vinegar and distilled water in a spray bottle and a microfiber cloth to wipe away water spots. Well, l got your site back. Half of remodeling is long conversations with the worker so you both have the same idea about your project. This is one of my favorite videos by you.
The real point to all this, is how many of us 'make-do' in our style, for fear of offending the sensibilities of future tenants who might/might not share our taste in decor. Aurelio, I love what you did, I totally agree that Tubs Rule, and where the Hell is your Skeletal Rubber Ducky?
I'm so proud of you for finally being able to get this done as you wanted, I know how much it's meant to you to have a bathroom that you enjoy actually having.

My husband and I are diving right into the spooky vibe and living by the idea "if the Addam's Family would have it in their home, we want it in ours." This video is so inspiring and that bathroom is gorgeous!
@@JariDawnchild I will be posting before and after pics on Facebook. But it'll take a long time cuz the entire house needs to be redone, it's really old and was a bit neglected.
Mr. Voltaire, I am a 63 year old white woman who lives in an "upscale" Denver suburb. My home decorating style is of nature. Wood, stone, some metal, and water features. How I got to your site I cannot tell you! BUT, I wanted to tell you that I began watching your video for a few laughs and entertainment. But I watched the whole thing because I found it educational and really encouraging when decorating ones home. You are a real surprise. And yes, I WAS entertained... But I came away actually having learned something. In the end, I found that it's not necessarily the "style" which is a personal thing. It's about letting your expression reign by not being afraid to go the full mile to create just what you want! Not to mention you had so many tips about how to make something work even if it's not intended to. (Bath tub rod glued to tile!). So, thank you. You are an endearing mix of entertainer, and real professional. Best of luck to you in the future. I'd sure love to know that someday you have your own home to decorate. (I KNOW you'd be sensitive to the neighbors while having it your way! ) 😂
That is vary interesting that you found that hole behind the cabinet. Makes me wonder what other cubby holes and secret unknown spaces there are in our homes.
Looks absolutely amazing. If I had the business know how I’d create a business that specialised in goth home decor and renovation. It’s such a needed service since all the normies make it so difficult for us
Hello...i just discovered you and i enjoy your videos! I love Goths and i love Gothic aesthetics...not because it's spooky, but because Goths wear their Shadows on their sleeves and they push us to explore shadow...wich is of utter importance in a World where people want it all white ....in a world where we ignore sufferance and Dark energies...this is a dual world and we should acknowledge and celebrate it ALL! Thank you and keep the good work ...your sens of humour is one of your force, i Love a happy loving Goth person ;)
This is beyond awesome. The street light is the perfect touch. Funny stories too lol. It's great to hear that intro again, you always know you're in for something good!
Incredibly Stunning!!! As a property manager of 16 years, I feel, after seeing the before and after pics, that you should not only receive all of your security deposit back with interest, but the landlord should pay you for the amazingly gorgeous renovation!💀🦇❤️🔥
I completely understand putting money into a rental apartment. If you plan on living there for a few years it’s ABSOLUTELY worth it. I spent $1000 to have faux wood flooring and I’m so happy! Beautiful job! Also YOU are an Angel for dealing with that kind of IGNORANCE! I CANT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! ☠️🎨🦋
I still have one of those razor blade slot cabinets from the 50s and I actually use the disposal slot regularly because I have short hair and keep it trimmed with a straight razor. They're great! 🤣 You can even hear the lil *plink* as it falls down. I like to think I'm leaving a surprise for future residents of my home.
I can’t imagine why someone would hire people who would refuse to their job. It’s actually ridiculous that they were allowed to refuse to do an appointment like that. It really makes no sense for the installers to have that much power over the owner. It’s also really pointless to offer that color if they’re never going to follow through with it. The bathroom looks absolutely amazing ❤ good on you for standing your ground.
I knew it would turn out great and so it has, but wow what a fight for your goth rights to the light, sink height, and blackest tub in sight to make your gothy bathroom wishes come true. I'm so glad you didn't let anyone talk you out of getting what you wanted!
What a transformation! It's beautiful! I love how you were able to bring all your work from all those episodes and Society 6 into making your dream bathroom. Even from your Halloween shopping hauls. Bet it feels good to have it done.
I had completely forgotten about the razor blade trivia! We moved around to different (usually older) houses and bases every year when I was a kid. My parents taught me about the slit in the medicine cabinets, and I became obsessed thinking about what else was in the walls.
I once heard steampunk is just adding brown to goth and that's all I thought about when you talked about steampunk in regards to the pipes in the bathroom.
This is the bathroom of my dreams. You did a fantastic job. If you have lived there for 20 years then your landlord must be happy to have you as a tenant, but it is still a shame that after all those years they can't pay to have the apartment repaired/renovated. But that's landlords for you. I live in the UK and it's the exact same here. We have to fight to get the smallest job done. As for your toilet cistern lid: absolutely heartbreaking to have to cut into a $600 plus item to make it fit. But it looks great, as does the rest of the furniture. And the finishing touches look great. I love it.
Oh my goddess, Aurelio I am SOOOOO loving this! I've been watching your Gothic Homemaking since the beginning, but THIS is probably the BEST yet. I'm a huge bath fan too. Sorry you had to deal with all the construction people giving you a hard time.
"there are thousands of rusty razor blades in a pile in your home" Super threatening! Thanks! but seriously, i love everything about your goth apartment, from the little repainted bottles and cheap DIYs to the incredibly extra "replacing every tile and including your crest on the wall" part. well, everything except the effort it would take to do similar. I'll live vicariously through your videos for now.
Razor blades - This explains SO MUCH of why I found dozens of razors in the frame where my medicine cabinet sat in the wall. My house was built in 61 but the owners would have been raised with that habit.
Counters and sinks are definitely a tall person problem, says the 6'1 lady. I hate the standard levels of those in apartments and houses, doing dishes having to hunch over is uncomfy or even prepping food! I feel you and am happy you got your way, like you said you were paying for it!! It all looks amazing and perfectly spooky!! Please come decorate my bathroom!!
Absolutely gorgeous work. I so applaud your attitude toward making one's domicile a true home; a sanctuary. It doesn't matter if you live in your own place or someone else's as the clock ticks in only one direction and I can't imagine what money is for if not to enhance the hours that pass and never come back. You get to make memories of contentment instead of resentment for where you live. Thank you for sharing this amazing transformation and your passion and hard work. Again, the outcome is just jaw-droppingly beautiful.
Man, this is why we need Goth specific renovation businesses that are actually excited and skilled to do this kind of stuff for you.

Voltaire: This is my GOTHIC BATHROOM MAKEOVER!
(pops in a cute widdle pink bath bomb 😊)
OOO just the kitchen and bedroom to go WooHoo so excited!!!!!
Voltaire's gonna need to get a new project after he's done with the kitchen & bedroom. Maybe he & Mayumi can show everyone how to plan the purfect Gothic wedding. 🦇💀🌹💀🦇

It'll be "How Three People Can Share Such A Tiny Apartment When One of Them Is Dead."
@@ediesedgwick4462 ROTFLMAO! 🤣 Well let's just hope that Orville Deadenbocker never gets a girlfriend. Otherwise it's gonna be a *SERIOUSLY* overcrowded environment to live in! 🦇💀🦇
@@itwasagoodideaatthetime7980 😂😵
"If I knew how much I was going to spend, I'd have never done it. So it's best I never find out." I need to try this method. I am obsessive about knowing what everything costs me, spreadsheets and all. I'm sure I'd be much happier just spending, never knowing.
My husband and I are diving right into the spooky vibe and living by the idea "if the Addam's Family would have it in their home, we want it in ours." This video is so inspiring and that bathroom is gorgeous!
Wow! You could be a spooky interior decorator. This is a gorgeous makeover.
This has given me a lot of ideas! We are planning on remodeling the house into a combo of
the 4 seasons-gothic-adams family theme.
Ooh, are you planning on posting progress and/or befores and afters anywhere? That would be gorgeous.
@@JariDawnchild I will be posting before and after pics on Facebook. But it'll take a long time cuz the entire house needs to be redone, it's really old and was a bit neglected.
Oh, excellent!
@@alleykatt6969 I hope that you will not have trouble doing that. It is so nice that you are able to save an old house.
I'm so sorry you had to go through so much to get your bathroom the way you want and deserve...
IT..IS..STUNNING!!! 😍

Whoooo finally! Congrats Voltaire!
I love how you renovated your bathroom. It turned out fabulous. Hope the reglazing lasts for many years.
Looks absolutely amazing. If I had the business know how I’d create a business that specialised in goth home decor and renovation. It’s such a needed service since all the normies make it so difficult for us
I renovated my utility room last weekend and we found 3 bird skeletons in one of the walls!
Oh My Goth mount them!!! It's a sign!
That bathroom is absolutely perfect Aurelio! I would love a bathroom like that 💀👍🏼🖤
voltaire single-handedly raising property values by at least 20k
The d(e)ad jokes make this even better x)
I see what you did there. ;)
ROTFLMAO! 🤣👍
Ba-dum-tis! 🥁 🖤🦇 🪦🦴💀🦴🪦🦇🖤
“How many skulls do you want”
This guy: YES!!!
I'm 54 years old just get off my back damnit and paint my tub black already is definitely a big mood.
The fact I listened to this man sing in middleschool and now I'm watching him for home advice
Yassssss I am always happy to see content from you!
Ooo i can just see a black porcelain tub, like the victorian ones, that would look so good!
This is a labor of Goth!! Love it!!!
Voltaire, you are 100% correct. Home is where you make it and you need to be happy where you live. Take Care. Love your bathroom.
I think your the only one doing this gothic decorations n I’m so loving it
I can’t imagine why someone would hire people who would refuse to their job.
Congratulations on completing the bathroom. It looks spectacular!!!
I knew it would turn out great and so it has, but wow what a fight for your goth rights to the light, sink height, and blackest tub in sight to make your gothy bathroom wishes come true.
I'm so glad you didn't let anyone talk you out of getting what you wanted!
Your bath looks spooktacular👍🏻🕷keep up the great improvements👍🏻🦇
So happy your back Voltaire!!! Very much missed by all your fans!
I can only imagine living in the goth shoebox with the mummified bodies of Voltaire and Orvil ☠️ 🖤
I once heard steampunk is just adding brown to goth and that's all I thought about when you talked about steampunk in regards to the pipes in the bathroom.
i will continue to think about this comment for the rest of my life
Yey! I was gonna touch up mine so I can't wait to watch this.
"there are thousands of rusty razor blades in a pile in your home"
Super threatening! Thanks!
but seriously, i love everything about your goth apartment, from the little repainted bottles and cheap DIYs to the incredibly extra "replacing every tile and including your crest on the wall" part. well, everything except the effort it would take to do similar. I'll live vicariously through your videos for now.
That verse about the landlord from "Oh Lord/Wake The Dead" makes a lot of sense now.
Seeing everything come together in the end made my brain go brrrrr
When it all comes together! Your bathroom looks so gorgeous now.
I think I've seen this 10 times now, I just love the transformation!
Looking forward to it Voltaire! 🦇 🖤
This is the first gothic home renovation I’ve seen that has left me overwhelmingly inspired for my new house 😍🖤
I love your content, from your spooky adventures to your songs and overall fun and happy vibes, keep being you dude!!
Razor blades - This explains SO MUCH of why I found dozens of razors in the frame where my medicine cabinet sat in the wall. My house was built in 61 but the owners would have been raised with that habit.
That tiling in your shower was really rough. You've done a really great job. This is a pretty heavy duty project almost like Bob Villa Voltaire.
Oh this was such a good episode to watch on my day off, I’m living for this makeover
This is unbelievable, I’m going to be renovating my bathroom this summer and this was insanely inspiring. 👻🖤
I am simply amazed at all your fabulous gothic just marvelous ideas and creations! You are truly wonderful!!
